These are truly fine, high quality soaps. The packaging is so beautiful you almost hate to open them. The soaps lather beautifully and last seemingly forever, which makes the cost seem not so extravagant. You can really tell that the scents are created with high quality ingredients, like fine perfumes. With cheap soaps that use cheap scents, there are always a few scents in the box that I can't stand, making it a waste of money. Not so with Claus Porto; I've loved every one of them, even the ones that I usually don't like in cheaper versions.
The soap feels creamy but still rinses clean. And, best of all, the lovely scents linger on your skin throughout the day. Definitely worth the extra expense --a small luxury!

This is it. This really is the one: blending an enticing combination of glamour and luxury, the soap allows us to experience, if only briefly, life like royalty, or at least like someone who's very wealthy. After hearing and reading about Claus Porto Soap for years, I knew it would make the perfect gift for my husband.
Although most soaps claim to have moisturizing elements, this soap really leaves you with a clean, refreshing and film-free bath experience. Each individual soap has a distinctively pleasant, although not overpowering smell and I've been told that individual bars can last for months. An added extra is the packaging, which is gorgeous, employing vintage designs on each package from America's Art Deco Period. Fortunately for me, my husband doesn't mind sharing, so this really is the gift that keeps on giving!
My only (minor) challenge was when the original order was mishandled by the Post Office. Once I contacted the seller, Cozy Cottage was so accommodating and I received my soaps quickly. Their prices are less expensive than competitors, and their management team is courteous, capable and efficient.
