L'OCCITANE Shea Butter Milk Soap
I feel somewhat addicted to the rich, milky scent of this soap! This shea soap has a lovely thick lather to it and leaves my skin soft and moisturized. I do use lotion afterwards, but I don't actually have to the soap doesn't leave my skin tight or dry like most other brands.I have a lot of allergies to body products, but I adore this L'Occitane shea line. I also really like the Milk shampoo/conditioner and lotions/ creams. I don't actually really care for the shower cream in this scent, though. The soap is more moisturizing and lasts longer.

I like the scent of this soap, and find it works very well, leaving my skin moisturized and non-flaky after use.The calves of my legs get very dry and itchy year-round if a soap is even slightly drying, and this soap does not cause itching.
This is a hard soap and will last a good long time as long as you don't leave it where it is constantly wet.

The other reviewer made a mistake here; this is not a shaving soap, it's a pre-shave soap; that is, you're meant to wash your face with it, then rinse, and THEN use a shaving cream or soap. This is not for lathering in a mug. What it DOES do is clean your face and prepare your beard so that your shaving cream or soap will be more effective; in this regard it is excellent, and you should try it; it lasts forever as well.
I've been using MR GLO (Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil soap) for several years, as the first step of my shave at the sink, after showering. Wash beard with MR GLO, rinse, and then work up a lather (NOT with MR GLO) and apply it to my wet beard: the first step toward a pleasurable shave.

I have always loved glycerin soaps for a clean feeling with just enough oils so that you don't feel dried out or greasy. This is one of the best. I use it before shaving with a straight razor to clean and prepare my skin and whiskers as well as to give my skin a little additional lubrication. It is by no means an oily soap or residue. I still use shave oil. I just notice that my shaves are a little nicer when I don't skip this step.It smells nice, feels good, and contributes to a great shave. It is not very expensive and last a very long time. Musco Real is the real thing. I love it and even turned my daughter on to it for shaving her legs.

I use this as a face prep/cleanser for wetshaving. This is a glycerin soap, and the scent has a nice, fresh smell. Great soap to wash your face and beard before shaving. Great fresh smell will definitely wake you up. It'll leave your skin and beard nicely hydrated. Rinse and then add some quality shaving soap or cream with a good brush. Your morning can't start any better.

I ordered my nuts straight from the NaturOli web site and I couldn't be more pleased with them. I ordered them after making a horrible mistake and ordering from Maggie's first. The Maggie's nuts were my first set of soap nuts and what a TERRIBLE impression! They were black, tacky and wrapped in cellophane that apparently had water trapped in it. They had hardly any soap by the time they got to me.I'm sooooo glad I decided to try again and order from NaturOli this time. The nuts they shipped me were a warm, golden brown, packaged in a cloth bag and just 5 nuts will do an entire weeks worth of laundry for me (5 loads, 4 washed in cold and 1 washed in hot). I was so pleased with the way the soap nuts cleaned my clothes that I ordered a years worth of nuts after my initial order got low and I'm shipping off 6 weeks worth to my mom to try!
Just a note: If you have embedded odors in your clothes already (armpit area, etc.) that reg laundry detergent just covered up, soaking the clothes in a vinegar/water solution for about an hour will help get the smell out. Because soap nuts have no fragrance you will notice the odors after washing with the soap nuts as the perfume will be washed out of your clothes but the smells it was covering up will remain set in the fabric. I was shocked at some of the odors regular laundry detergent had just covered up, but after the vinegar/water soak got the set in smells out the soap nuts have kept the odors gone (and I now use wool dryer balls, not dryer sheets, so there is NOTHING in my wash to cover up odors anymore).

I remember receiving the soap and smelling it and thinking "it sure doesn't smell like anything at all". Sad to say even when wet it has barely any scent at all. It makes a decent lather not great and cleans decently. It leaves no residue on skin which is a good trait. The oatmeal is very slight and offers very little scrub. I find it odd that every one of these soaps has 5 star reviews. There are far better soaps out there for the money. The bar also has stamped in it CHINA which is odd for something claiming so many natural ingredients from all over.

Nice soap, but it is not my favorite Dove bar soap. Don't really care for the scent (kind of reminds me of the scent of Oil of Olay Bath Bar), and don't particularly care for the exfoliating part of this soap. When I used it, I did not feel like it exfoliated my skin. Read great reviews on it, but it did not work for me. I much prefer the original Dove Beauty Bar; it is my absolute favorite, plus I love the creaminess of the original beauty bar and the scent of it. It sort of lacks that moisturizing feel when you have the granules in it (even tho they are very tiny). Not a bad soap whatsoever, but not my favorite. I've been using this soap for about 9 years. I moved out into my first place and started buying my own soap 10 years ago. So after about a year of trial and error I found this soap and i've stuck with it ever since. Over the years I've strayed to other soaps just to try something new , but they've always dried out my skin, or left me too oily feeling. For me this particular type of dove soap is just right. It's like washing yourself with solid lotion that has a little soap in it. And the gentle exfoliating beads remove the need for painful intense scrubbing to exfoliate. I like the scent too, very light. I always liked this soap. I liked the original Zest even more, but I can not find it anywhere, you can get Zest Aqua, but it is no where near the same as the original. Irish Spring still has their original, so I went back to this. Very pleased with it, Started whistling that tune from the old commercials (showing my age here) The same commercials that said " where the sun stays up til ten at night" , A little worthless nostalgia there. The soap is still great, and still smells like it used to.
