This soap is GREAT! The nice thing is that it doesn't leave an oily residue. It leaves my skin feeling soft, even when I don't use moisturizer. I think I've found a natural alternative to all the chemical filled products I've been using. :)

I love the fragrance and it leaves a wonderful fragrance on the skin. It does leave your skin soft, but we were only able to get 16 showers from it and I watched as it literally shrank to nothing in my hand as I used it. I do not spend an excessive amount of time showering and typically get around 2-3 weeks worth of use from a bar of soap before it disappears to nothing (with two of us using it~~sometimes twice daily when we have 95 degree days!). We opened the soap on Thursday evening and by the following Tuesday morning, it was just a thin shadow of what it once was. Very disappointed in the longevity of it! Will not purchase it again even if it does smell wonderful!

I have been using this soap for a couple weeks and am overall satisfied, but was dissapointed with the lack of moisterizing properties it didn't have. I was hoping for a more moisture rich soap than what I got. I use this soap to wash my body and face and my face feels dry after it has dried and always need to put on facial moisterizer afterwards,my body the same. I will use this soap until it is gone,but will not be buying it again. I will be looking for another organic brand that promises moisture. It cleans very well I must say, but lacks the moisture that I was so hoping for.

It cleans nicely but dissolves fast despite drying immediately after use. Quality of cleaning is excellent but economy of use is fair.

Decent unit price but had to order 18 bars to get that price. Wish they could supply the real Maja soap from Spain rather than the one made in Mexico. The Maja soap made in Mexico unfortunately includes a tar-like unpleasant smell that the original Spain-produced version doesn't have. I believe they use an olive oil base in Spain.

I love this organic soap in the green tea scent and am a repeat buyer.

HOWEVER, instead of receiving what is pictured here (and what I've received in the past) which are OVAL-SHAPED bars, I received rectangular-shaped bars. What's the big deal, you ask? Well the rectangular-shaped bars don't fit in my soap dish! They're the same weight (5 oz) but the shape makes a difference.

Ah well...guess I can try cutting them in half.

I received the Lavender soap as a gift a few years ago. It was wonderful and made my skin feel soft and smooth. The frangrance is delightful and does not over power you after your shower. When I travel I take a bar with me. I bring the box sets as hostess gifts. Everyone loves them. They last a long time. I find them economical and a box of four would last me a year. The Green Tea is also wonderful. I am allergic to most perfumes and fragrances. Olivia Care products are pure and natural. Bathing with Olivia Care products gives me the expensive Spa treatment at home for an affordable price.. Try it you will love it.

My sister had this curious-looking box of soaps inside her bathroom cabinet. I took one out and sniffed. Heaven! The scent is not overwhelming at all. It's a delicate floral perfume scent that slowly fades away. A quality soap that is French-milled, this soap rinses easily off of your skin. (We have hard water here, so it may react differently in soft water). I also have sensitive skin and do not have much of a reaction to the ingredients. It is definitely pricey, however, I splurge a bit with soaps so it is worth it. (No on else in my house gets to use these bars, though!)

Scanning the Internet for Greek-made products to purchase, I found an online store that sold Greek foods, gifts and beauty products, including this soap. In addition to my food purchase, my first order included Papoutsanis Lavender and Magnolia aromatic soap. When opening the box upon arrival, the perfume smell was overwhelming. After letting the apartment air out, I unwrapped the bars and began using them regularly as satisfied customer. In fact, Papoutsanis can expect another repeat customer. The soaps add a nice scent to the bathroom that is just right and not as overwhelming as my initial exposure.

The one downside of this product is that it does dry the skin. These are not moisturizing olive oil soaps but conventional hard soaps presumably made from an alkaline substance. As such, they are excellent cleaning soaps for hands but are probably not good for hair as the Greek olive oil soap are.

The strategy of helping the faltering Greek economy through small purchases is tenuous. Yet, there are excellent Greek soaps, wines, olives, figs, cheeses easily obtainable in the United States, which don't cost all that much more than common alternatives. Admittedly, this is putting a band-aid on a bullet wound, but it can't hurt the Greek export economy. If you are looking for an inexpensive soap that produces a pleasing scent, give the Papoutsanis aromatic soaps a try.

I love this soap. It is a huge bar, plus it's triple milled, so it lasts for ages. The scent never fades from the bar. So, it's good to the last drop. I am ruined for life. I don't want any other soap.

I received this as a Christmas present. It has the most refreshing lemon scent and provides luscious moisturizing lather. It does seem to be disappearing too quickly. I intend to double up!

The Fernwood Soaps are pretty much my favorites. Nothing artificial, great price, wonderful scents. I have been buying them for several years now, and they are really great in the winter time to use for hand washing to keep from getting sore, itchy hands. Also great as a shampoo.

I have been using this soap for hair washing, and my hair turns out fluffy and soft every time. I have a lot of hair, but it's individual strand is really thin.. so thin but thick. Short blonde hair by the way. I cut my hair awhile back and swore up and down that I would never use stripping detergent shampoo again.. this is the best soap I've found thus far. Also, an awesome price as well. Most handmade soaps on th internet are about 4 to 6 dollars each. And the smell is rich and noticeable.. not bland like some HM soaps. I will buy this again.. next time ordering more than one.

I am a total fan of this soap. I have tried & use others when I cannot locate this soap & they are quite good but, my first choice is always the soap from Fernwood. I am sorry I have told my sister & friends about it because it seems I do not see this soap online for sale often so they take from my stash. I really miss the variety basket & hope you will make available the others soon.

It moisturizer really good to me. Bo lie your skin will feel so soft :) So happy I ran across it at Walmart (if you can get it there it's a $1.00 less then the Dove white beauty bar. So like um $5 something. I can't use a lot of the good smelling soap, because of the perfume in them. But with this so far so good.
