Yardley London Shea Butter Natural Soap, Almond Milk, 4 oz

I liked this soap, as I do every Yardley soap I have tried, but the scent isn't my favorite. I expected it to be more like almond, but it smelled more like vanilla to me. I prefer the Yardley Almond and oatmeal botanical soap.

For years I have used Dial bar soap, but I decided to try something new. This soap was on sale, so I took a chance and I dont regret it. I could smell the soap before unwrapping it, but it wasn't an overwhelming smell. It was a very sweet and cleaning scent that made me excited about my shower that night. This soap did not dry out my

skin nor did it leave any residue.

Caress Nature's Silk Moisturizing Body Bar with Natural Moisturizers, Daily Silkening, 12 - 4.25 oz

This is the brand of soap my wife buys a lot so of course I have to use it too. I like it okay but to be honest, it leaves my skin feeling just a little oily which is the moisturizing aspect of it, I guess. The thing I like least about this soap is it disappears pretty quickly. And it gets really mushy and basically melt if accidentally gets left in a soap container that has a little water in it. I prefer other soaps.

Caress gives you the feeling of smoothness afterward. Not only that, its fragrance is very nice. Only give 4 of out 5 because it is very good compared to some of its peers but not the best out there

I've used Caress soap for years. It leaves my skin silky smooth, yet doesn't aggravate the acne I am prone to. I also enjoy the soap's light floral fragrance. The downsides...the bar doesn't last long and gets mushy towards the end.

I am 40 years old and still get pimples because I have large pores that get clogged easily. The soap I was using (Acne Aid) got discontinued. The apothecary recommended this product and it works amazingly.

I wish I could have tried it sooner. My pores have reduced in size and my skin is so soft and clear. I use it twice daily followed with Noxzema Triple Clean pads. My skin has not looked better thanks to this routine.

Please try this soap if you have large pores or a lot of blackheads.

I am a bar soap lover--I hate liquid cleansers. Not sure why, but I do. This one is great for pulling the goop out of pores and bringing it to the surface for removal. It makes your skin feel soooo clean-no residue. I have combo skin, more toward the dry side, and have developed adult onset acne on my cheeks and temple area. My chin and nose have always had problems with blackheads. This soap dramatically reduced the development of whiteheads on my cheeks, and really cleaned out my pores. I haven't had any new blackheads on my nose for months! Note: I also stopped using a moisturizer (maybe that helped too). IT IS KEY to really take the time to lather this soap up on your face in circular motions. Note: This soap can be drying, but I have been okay using it without a moisturizer afterwards.

I purchased this to help with acne. NO NEW ZITS SINCE I STARTED USING IT!!!

Pros: It has done a very good job of cleansing and drying out the acne without drying out my skin. I have had no irritation at all from using this product.

Cons: It may slightly stain your light colored washcloths.

This soap is probably one of the best finds ever. Before I found this soap I was using every facial scrub and anti-blackhead cream cleanser I could find. Some worked better than others but every time my face would get red because of the acids in the cleansers. Deitenseki soap solved that for me. It lasts forever and does a great job at keeping my face blackhead free. It cleans deeper than any of the other stuff I've used and dries with a nice matte finish without over drying my skin. The only downside is with such clear pores my pores are free to expel their oils freely. Overall a great purchase.

I have a very oily skin and at first I was skeptical about this product.

However, I am now about to order my second bar as this is just a wonderful soap! It leaves my face dry but not too dry, clean and acne free.

Pros:

Very good face soap

No more blackheads

Significant improvement in acne

Cons:

Too big I had to cut mine into half so it can fit in my travel bag. Absolutely not a reason to not buy this soap

Suggestion: Best to wash the face before you go to sleep and also, even more important: wash your face with soap when you wake up in the morning it will make a big difference!

This soap reminds me of the soaps I had to use in Europe. Great for sensitive skin and smells wonderful. I use this as my main soap now. It leaves my skin clean, silky and smooth.

Crabtree & Evelyn Nantucket Briar - Triple-Milled Soap

Rarely use bar soap so I can't speak to the soap qualities of this--but it's wonderful to tuck into a drawer and use as a sachet! Got one in the Nantucket Briar hatbox set a while ago and didn't want to let it go to waste, so I threw it, soap's box and all, into my underwear drawer. Now that smells incredibly fresh all the time--a whiff of pure joy whenever it's opened. (The scent lasts and lasts; I bet it would if you actually washed with it, too.)

It's strong and lavender-y enough that I bet moths wouldn't be pleased, either.

My mom loves Crabtree and Evelyn Nantucket Briar. She can't seem to get enough, the only trouble is: it is very expensive and she won't buy it herself. Which means her children and grandkids get to buy it for her, and it is hard if you are on a fixed budget like I am.

Anyone who is familiar with Nantucket Briar knows that this soap always earns a 5 start review. It may be a bit costly compared to soaps can buy in a supermarket but this soap is far far superior to any other soap. The fragrance is heavely and lingers on your body for hours continuing the enjoyment of your shower or bath. Good deal for the money.

Jergens Naturally Enriched Soap Bar, 4pk

Jergens value pack soap has that very mild fresh scent fragrance--and it really makes a difference! Unscented soap doesn't really please me; so I use this type of Jergens soap. The scent does not overwhelm me.

The soap, of course, goes a long way toward making my sensitive skin much smoother. That counts--my skin around the bridge of my nose and my feet is often so dry that it flakes all over and it's not exactly attractive. Jergens soap fights that successfully.

Of course, if you're allergic to scents or perfumes, choose another type of soap. I believe there is a type of unscented Jergens soap for sale on this website.

If you can catch a sale on this, stock up!

Overall Jergens mild soap with a slight fresh scent is a good type of soap to use when you want to feel clean and have a light deodorizing fragrance on your body at the same time. I highly recommend it.

As a soap, I use daily for washing and showering.

It seems softer that the same brand in the past.

Green Tea Herbal Soap - 3 pack

This soap is the best natural soap that I have used. I've tried many, many different types of natural soaps, and this is the only one that doesn't sting my skin. It smells really nice too, makes me feel like I'm at the spa. It does have little exfoliator granules in it, so if you don't like that, you will not like this soap (the granules are a little scratchy, but the nice thing is that they actually come out of the soap, they don't stay stuck in there like little barbs to come back and haunt you shower after shower). Over all, a very nice soap.

I've been using this soap for quite a few years and I absolutely love it. It has a lovely fragrance, not too strong. It also has this pebbly texture that acts as a mild exfoliant, but it's not abrasive or annoying....just wakes up the skin. The best part of this soap is that it doesn't leave a soap residue in your tub or shower. Highly recommended!!

As someone with skin that's both dry and very sensitive, I run into trouble with a lot of exfoliating soaps being too harsh, but the rice bran granules in this bar are small enough to create a scrubbing sensation without being overly-scratchy. It also has a nice, rich lather.

The first thing I noticed, though, was the fragrance. I placed a bar in the shower and when I went back a few hours later it had filled the room with a wonderfully sweet green tea scent. It's strong enough that having a bar in the bathroom practically doubles as an air freshener!

Overall I am very pleased with this soap and will definitely purchase it again.

This soap (and it's more than that!) smells and feels so good that I actually can't wait to get into the shower!!!! Dry skin and small lesions seem to just disappear, and I'm always amazed at how great I feel when that towel hits my body after such an invigorating encounter!!!! Thanks!

UPDATE 2: GREAT STUFF> It's been over a month and now my face is in love. Smooth, clean skin without the drying effects I first noticed. I have not had any flakiness in my tzone like I did prior to this product. The film I noticed previously was the excess oil my skin had been producing. It took a little bit for it to disappear. Mostly after a little exfoliation and continued use of this bar. What really gets this bar working is storing it in a travel soap holder. Doing so releases the natural oils to the surface of the bar. Don't be confused by the word oils either. This product does not leave a greasy feel and it fact, does quite the opposite.

UPDATE 1 week later: still not worth it. Leaves a film. Not quite sure who would benefit from this kind of bar.

To start, I have sensitive, combination, dry, oily skin. You can read my other reviews to confirm. I considered buying this for 2 weeks, because I have tried and loved the Pomega5 green tea mattifying moisturizer

Pre de Provence Soap, Set Of 5, Linden, 125 Gram Cello Wrap

I love this soap, but this particular item is a bad deal economically. Each of the five bars of soap is 25 grams, which is less than one ounce. (One ounce = 28.34 grams.) I read it very hurriedly and mistakenly thought I was ordering five bars that each weigh 125 grams. The reality is that this package has five 25 gram bars for a total package weight of 125 grams. Haste certainly makes waste! I can't believe I paid $10 for 125 grams of soap. A 250 gram (8.8 oz) bar can be bought for around $7, not including shipping. I couldn't figure out how to make half a star, as I would have liked to rate this 2.5 stars: Zero for cost; 5 for quality, which is superb. The linden soap has a wonderfully light, slightly floral, mostly meadow scent, that appeals to both genders. The Pre de Provence brand always lathers wonderfully and lasts a long time due to being triple milled. It is also nicely moisturizing. I can't say enough excellent things about the soap, itself, but the large 250 gram bars are definitely a much better deal in terms of price.

My daughter bought me this as a gift and this soap is wonderful. It lathers up so sudsy and creamy. The fragrance fills the whole shower and is a delight for the senses.
