Dr. Bronners Bar Alo Vera Baby Mild 5 oz. (Case of 6)

Dr. Bronner soaps are good products. This soap is unscented and gets you clean. I personally think it might be a bit harsh to be called baby soap, it seems to be very drying. I would definitely recommend it for people who have allergic reactions to scented and dyed soaps.

This bar has a wonderful strong scent that lingers long after you have washed. It also says that it will last a long time for such a little bar so I am definitely looking forward to that.

I really wish I could buy this stuff somewhere. I've only ever seen it in a gas station in virginia. I bought the travel kit and loved the smell so much. The soap is really great for dry winter skin. Normally I can't wear any kind of perfumes or strong smelling soaps but this stuff doesn't give me a headache. Love it!

I'm not an "earth mother" but some of my friends were doing the "beauty secrets of the bible" so I decided to try it. I've been pulverizing oatmeal and mixing it with powdered goats milk as a natural face wash. I'd scoop out a small amount, add water to make a paste, slop it on my face, and rinse off with a cloth and then pick bits of oatmeal out of my hairline and rinse oatmeal off my washcloth and out of my sink. My son found this soap at a local store and bought it for me to try. It's obviously quicker & easier! It lathers sooo easily and there is no gritty substance; it rinses very clean and leaves my skin just as nice as the "concoction" I've been using. I am going to investigate more of these products!

This is one of the few products that I can use on my daughter who has eczema. I even use it on my 7 month old. The soap is not drying but it still won't replace moisturizer for those with dry skin. It is very expensive which is unfortunate but you do get a good quality product.

I absolutely LOVE this lotion. I have extremely sensitive skin and almost every product from the drugstores either dries my skin out more or gives me some sort of reaction. This lotion does neither and is fantastic. It is not oily, greasy, or sticky (I promise!)Honestly, I had issues with using lotions because of them being the latter and I didn't like the way they felt but this stuff is awesome. I am a computer tech for a school coporation, I wash my hands A LOT, therefore they get very dry in winter and crack but not anymore!

But I like initial minty refreshing feeling (I wish it would last longer). And of course, I love that it's certified fair trade and organic. I'm reluctant to put in on my face because of all the comedogenic oils in it though-well who knows, turns out most of the natural products I use have a ton oils in it. The bottle came with the pump half screwed on, and there was lotion spilling out from the pump. Also the bottle doesn't have the same label as the picture shown, instead it has the old school Dr. Bronner label... Seems like the picture is showing the international/foreign label. I thought I would really love this but it's just not moisturizing and actually makes my hand feels dry. I wouldn't purchase again.

I left it fell over for about a week (shows how much I use it) and lotion started oozing out of the faulty pump.

This is a great moisturizer post-bath or shower. It wakes you up and feels very clean and simple on your skin. I wish it cost a little less, but the product, the ingredients and the packaging are all very high quality.

This is definitely my new favorite lotion. I have been looking for one without all those crazy chemicals, and thought I would start with Dr. Bronner's, since I like their soaps. This lotion is great. It is not sticky or watery, it is super moisturizing. My hands get very dry in the winter, so I am picky about my hand lotions. I have been through countless other ones, but this one takes the cake. The peppermint is a refreshing, clean scent as well.

This is a face soap that cleanses well and leaves the skin very smooth. I have used it for several years.

I have been using this soap for about 25 years now. I have tried others. Nothing is as good for sensitive, dry skin.

I haven't always been a bar soap person because too many I've used in the past left dirt or some sort of film behind when you rinse the soap off. Plus other brands of bar soap I've tried were very drying and many of them left my skin feeling way too tight. Basis is the only brand of bar soap I will use because it cleans gently, washes off easily, and leaves a clean, fresh smell on my body. It also is very gentle for dry, sensitive, Rosacea or problematic types of skin. My Dermatologist recommended Basis to me and it still works better on me than any other bar soap I've ever found. I have tried using moisturing washes in the past but none of them work as good on me as Basis. I highly recommend trying Basis because it will get your skin clean without overstripping or causing irritation!

Palmolive Naturals Moisture Care with Aloe & Olive Extracts Bar Soap, 80 G / 2.8 Oz Bars, 3 in a Pa

I have three varieties of palmolive soap. I have the pearl extract, aloe and olive, citrus and cream. I haven't gotten around the citrus yet. Comparing it to the pearl extract this isn't as drying. Don't expect to be moisturized like dove but this soap does a decent job. I like dove but sometimes I feel it leaves too much residue. I don't feel as fresh and clean as I'd like. This soap does the job. I even wash my face with it before my moisturizer and I've gotten no breakouts. So I am pleased. I like the scent. It's like the original green palmolive but fresher. Light clean fragrance.

Purchased Palmolive Naturals Smooth and Moisture Aloe and Olive Extract soap several days ago and what a find!

Was using Dove, but it was drying my skin. Palmolive does not do that. Makes my skin very smooth and fresh. Good scent too. Definitely a five star soap for me. I think I will stick with this one for a while.

Mor Cosmetics Pomegranate Bath Soaps

I got mine at Marshall's for $4.99 without s/h costs. I love this soap. It's a medium sized red-colored bar and smells definitely of pleasant pomegranate & berries, a VERY pleasant long-lasting fragrance inside and outside the bath with only a faint fragrance of detergent. The lather is decent and the texture of the soap is soft enough that I love it. It's a premium soap made in Beverly Hills, California, triple-milled and made with Vitamin E with shea butter to moisturize the skin and the soap is definitely moisturizing and it hasn't been tested on animals. It has an artistic attractive design for packaging.

There are definitely better bargain soaps that are just as good quality soaps out there, especially if you want organic, but if you've got the deep pockets and/or a chance to get it on sale, I would definitely recommend it as a gift (as long as the ones you're giving it to are non-allergic), aromatherapy, and as an everyday soap.

As with any soap, if you want to have it last longer, keep it away from water and get a soapholder with holes on the bottom so the water doesn't stay to liquefy the soap.

This soap lathers nicely, and lasts along time. It soothes the skin and cleans great. I even shave with it. It doesn't dry out my skin and I have never felt any irritation from this soap. In my opinion, Aubrey's bar soaps lather better than the liquid. Both are excellent products though!

I have been using Rosa Mosqueta bar soap for about one year now. Within a month or less time, I realized that I no longer needed my body lotion, which I usually put all over (especially thighs, shins, and arms). The scent is mild, and my husband likes using it too. Since using this soap, he no longer needs to apply dry skin lotion to his problem-skin legs. It laters nicely in our conditioned well-water, and lasts longer than other moisturizing soaps, such as Caress or Dove. I gifted it to my daughter, who has city water, and she thinks feels it gets used up quickly. If you have dry, problem skin, you will probably benefit from using Aubrey soaps, which are free from harsh detergents and synthetic chemicals.

Nice bar soap not made from petrochemicals and lasts longer than other "moisturizing" soaps, such as Caress and Dove. Within a month, or less, of using this soap, I discovered that I was able to give up my body lotion because I did not have dry skin any longer. That is the advantage of using body care products without strong detergents. Husband likes it too, and does not have itchy "winter" skin anymore. Expensive, as compared to regular soaps, but definitely worth it, given the natural ingredients and the money saved on NOT having to lather my body in skin cream after every shower.
