I really have tried almost everything (short of taking Accutane) to clear up my acne-prone and sensitive skin. This is the *best* product I've found in 20+ years. I only wish I would've stumbled on it sooner.There are so many expensive products out there loaded with harmful chemicals. But, I found this Cuticura soap listed on The Cosmetics Safety Database () as one of the safest. Plus, it's cheap.
I use it on both my face and body, and it works like a charm. Controls breakouts; moisturizes nicely; feels soothing; doesn't have a fragrance; and 1 bar lasts a long time.
I've never written a product review before, but I just had to endorse this great soap! Highly recommended.

Smells soooo good that you might wanna keep washing and washing with this sono. Use tried all the sono from plant life.net and hands down this is the most refreshing best natural soap....expensive....but aren't you worth it?

I received the bergamot/wheatgerm/basil body wash in a gift sampler of Boots products and fell in love. Boots makes several "destination" lines of productsHawaiian Island, Mediterranean, and Amazon Rain Forest. I haven't sampled the others, because Mediterranean smell was near perfect! Disclaimer time-I, for the most part, think a body wash that does an adequate job of cleaning, without drying my skin, is all that's necessary on the technical end, and the rest is about smell for me. This and the other products in the line are various combinations of ingredients with scents reminiscent of Italy in my mind. Just a drop to a hot bath turn an ordinary tub into aromatherapy heaven.While most might give more stars, I withhold 5 stars for perfection, and I quibble with 2 minor pointsI'd like the sticker to be more easily removable from the bottle, and they've, at least recently, "electrified" the color of the soap itself. It used to be a more natural sage-y mint, and has now become an almost lime green.

She has very sensitive skin and this soap not only looks stunning and smells heavenly, but it doesn't dry or irritate her skin at all.

I grew up around mimosa trees and theIir blossoms smell heavenly. This is not the smell of this soap. It smells kind of detergent like. Will use it but not one tI Ihat I like. Don't smell anything flowery about it. Quick shipment and good company. I really like the lavendar and mint cube soaps I ordered from them and would highly recommend those.

As a longtime fan of violet soaps, I thought I'd try this product. England, after all, grows sweet violets, whereas ours have virtually no scent. Was I disappointed! I wish I could rate a product as "Zero Stars", but one is the fewest I can post. This soap smells like a junior chemist's attempt at recreating a scent never encountered, as a Recycling 101 assignment involving synthetic fragrances used in tire-manufacturing. Worse yet, the stuff was ultra-potent: it reeked to high Heaven! It was literally so bad that I put it in the trunk of my car to drive to the Post Office -and even so, people who drove with me in the next few days asked about "that funny smell". Cross my heart... I suggest readers try a violet/hybrid blend like 1902, which is French, or another scent by one of the French or Italian firms. I'd recommend Roger & Gallet, which makes a fabulously-scented, silky-lathering carnation soap, but they've never produced a violet, or at least, haven't in recent decades. To commiserate with my fellow reviewer of yet another "not violet" soap: I, too, miss Verly's, now that the factory has ceased production. I've also longed, on and off, for soaps by that ever-luxurious and, presumably, likewise-extinct brand, Parfumerie Monpelasse. (Pardon any spelling blunder, s'il vous plait, but the muguet des bois was to die for.) In short, if you ask me, the EU's chief consequence is "P-U!"Save 31% Off
