Provence Sante PS Big Bar Linden, 12oz Bar

I've been using this soap since 2005, and I won't use anything else. Aside from the fact that is it gentle on my skin, never irritating or drying, the scent of it alone is all the reason anyone needs to use it. It is the loveliest, most feminine, soft white floral scent I have ever found. I use one 12 oz bar in exactly two months, so the subscription service is perfect for me.

I love Provence Sante soaps, but usually I buy the Bergamot scent, which is in fact wonderful. But somewhere I saw that this was their most popular scent so I decided to try it. When I opened the plastic wrap I sniffed it and it really didn't have much of a scent at all. I like their soaps because they produce a really nice satisfying lather and leave you feeling squeaky clean, but not dried out, with a light scent residue that doesn't interfere with perfumes--so I love Provence Sante soaps. I wasn't going to reject the Linden because it didn't seem to smell of much of anything--that's OK too. But here is the deceptive part. I put the soap in the shower stall all untouched and ready for the morning. The next morning my bathroom had been perfumed with a clean, slightly sweet, not girl-y at all scent, and not an overpowering scent. It just smells fresh and clean--despite the chaos and mess in my bathroom. After a week at least it's still smells wonderful in the bathroom. Now I get why Linden is their most popular scent because it is so aromatic that scents the air wonderfully, without being overpowering in any way on the skin. I recommend it without reservation.

Yes, it's expensive, but worth every penny. The scent is just...clean. Very refreshing. If you're not sure what a 12oz bar of soap is like; it's huge. I usually cut this in half and it lasts months.

Mint Chocolate Soap - Jones Handmade Soap Co

I can't put into words how much I love this soap. Not only does it do a great job washing the grime off my 3 kids (even my boywho would let his feet turn black if we let him), they actually LIKE using it and it doesn't dry out our skin where most soaps do. Even my older child who has always had incredibly sensitive skin, exzema and allergies to most products can use this soap with no problems and come out of the bath smelling good enough to eat! Literally!

After trying a few different Jones' products, my family and I don't use anything else. I also highly recommend the lip balm, body scrubs/butters, and sprays. Charcoal Body Soap (3.9oz)

H-Mart in Niles, IL sells this for $2.00. I picked one up today. The soap itself lathers up (sodium lauryl sulfate much?) quite a bit, and my skin right after rinsing with water feels much like it does with cheap regular soaps. However, when I dried myself, my skin felt softer than usual. I used body lotion just in case.

Kiss My Face Olive Oil Bar Soap, Big Deal! Bonus Pack, 8 oz bars 3 ea

Well, in an effort to go more green and hearing that Kiss My Face olive soap was good for the skin, I decided to buy some Kiss My Face soap. At first, it made my skin dry and I would have to put on a lot of body lotion to counteract the effects. I figured that I would just finish the one bar and then switch back to Dove. Well, after a month, something happened and my skin suddenly became soooooo soft! People used to say that I had the softest skin they ever encountered. As I got older, I didn't get that compliment as much anymore. But now Kiss My Face soap has given me back my bunny soft skin :) I'm staying with it now.

So I would say, give your skin some time to adjust. Olive soap is supposed to do wonders for your skin. Also, they last forever, much longer than a regular bar of Dove. I warm these big bars in the microwave 10 secs at a time and when it is soft enough, I cut them into four chunks so that I don't have to heft a giant bar while cleaning myself.

Both my husband and I developed a horrible rash from this soap. At first I thought the soap was fine, just a little odd smelling. However both our bodies are covered in tiny red bumps that itchy like crazy.

We saw the general physician at first because we figured it was some kind of bug bites or sickness. He suggested eliminating any new soaps, shampoos, etc. we had started and gave us medication to control the severe itching. We eliminated everything else and made a dermatologist appointment. We're cancelling that now because after we eliminated this soap, all the itching stopped!

Perhaps other people have better luck but I'm not going near their soaps again..

This is real Greek bar soap. Olive oil based. Olive green color too! This old standard will get you clean. It's drying for some reason so I use it in the summer to get the sticky off. Here's a deal on a lot of it. Big bars that last a while. You might cut them in half for easier use.

I have now been using this product for a little over a week. I don't usually write reviews but the reviews were large reason I decided to make this purchase. Well in only a week I noticed a change. I don't have any major acne but I usually have tiny bumps on my face along with large pores. Nothing seems to help. Also, I get a pimple or two every once in a while. And I have some scaring from old pimples. However, I noticed my face has had no pimples since I started using it. I usually love my complexion but as I've gotten older its changed and hasnt been so even toned. I have noticed a slight difference so far so I'm excited to see what will happen given more time. I read lots of comments about it drying the skin...it didn't dry my skin out at first, even after leaving it on a little while, but the last few days I have noticed dryness. So you DO want to have a good moisturizer. I use a cocoa butter moisturizing oil over my usual Victoria's Secret lotion. (on my body) The oil helps to lock in the moisture. I use oil of olay or the moisturizing oil on my face. I dont really recommend oil on the face but I use it very lightly. Also, be sure to use sunblock if your going to be in direct sunlight.

Trader Jacques French Liquid Orange Blossom Honey Hand and Body Soap

I bought this as a gift and just saw the same thing at Trader Joe's for $3.69. I wouldn't buy anything I could get at a local store on line. Make sure you investigate before you buy anything on line.

Absolutely love this soap! The fragrance is delicate and not overpowering. I love that the ingredients are all natural (including the fragrance). I actually bought this so that my toddlers can use it too (I'm crazy about safe and preferrably organic for my kids). But what really impressed me is the experience I had with this seller. What set him apart from anyone I've ever bought from (I buy a LOT of stuff from Amazon) is that he went over and waaaay above than anyone one else. The box in which Amazon packed the soap was badly damaged during shipping (not seller's fault) and about 1/4-1/3 of soap spilled. I didn't even expect, but the seller game me a credit for the lost portion of soap. That's how everyone should do business! I highly recommend this soap and you'll be safe buying from this seller (i.e. JLMSales)!

I like it so much I bought two extra bottles to take home to my mom and sister in Salt Lake City, which sadly, has no Trader Joe's. To the person who gave the bad review. Yes, they DID reformulate this soap, temporarily it was awful, but soon TJs went back to the French Company who made it so well. It is now wonderful again. I have been looking for awhile for a soap with pure ingredients like Dr. Bronner's, but without the watery consistency of Dr. Bronner's. This soap is it! Simple ingredients that I don't need a chemistry degree to decipher, and a light, pleasant, fragrance created by essential oils. It smells wonderful! AND it smells believable! Good stuff!

I love love love this hand wash. I bought this Rosemary & Melon hand wash pump bottle from Whole Food so I purchased the refill from Amazon which is more affordable. The scent is not over whelming like most and it does not dry out the skin like most. These are amazing, after washing, I can handle any food without worrying about the smell tranfering to the food items.

I like the smell of this soap. You really need the foaming pump to get it to lather up properly in the shower.

I use this product to refill my bottles, but I do wish it was bigger. It only refills two times. So not sure what benefit it offers in reducing plastic. But it is cost effective.

It smell so good, it is usefull to carry on in my bag; I love this product and brand so much.

Midnight Pomegranate has been one of my favorite BBW scents of a while, so it only made sense to check out the PocketBac of it. Now, the PocketBac still has the amazing sensuality and depth fans have come to know and love from Midnight Pomegranate, but it just didn't seem to stand up to the rest of the line.

For some reason, it just didn't seem to have the same depth as the Midnight Pomegranate hand soap (which I think is the best possible comparison for this product), nor did it last very long. Sadly, this was a somewhat disappointing PocketBac, but still worth using.

Pre de Provence Soap, Set Of 5, Linden, 125 Gram Cello Wrap

I love this soap, but this particular item is a bad deal economically. Each of the five bars of soap is 25 grams, which is less than one ounce. (One ounce = 28.34 grams.) I read it very hurriedly and mistakenly thought I was ordering five bars that each weigh 125 grams. The reality is that this package has five 25 gram bars for a total package weight of 125 grams. Haste certainly makes waste! I can't believe I paid $10 for 125 grams of soap. A 250 gram (8.8 oz) bar can be bought for around $7, not including shipping. I couldn't figure out how to make half a star, as I would have liked to rate this 2.5 stars: Zero for cost; 5 for quality, which is superb. The linden soap has a wonderfully light, slightly floral, mostly meadow scent, that appeals to both genders. The Pre de Provence brand always lathers wonderfully and lasts a long time due to being triple milled. It is also nicely moisturizing. I can't say enough excellent things about the soap, itself, but the large 250 gram bars are definitely a much better deal in terms of price.
