Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Botanical Cleansing Bar with Tea Tree and Aloe

I got this soap first at Nordstrom when I was looking for as many skincare products with Tea Tree Oil on them.

I really liked the soap and was happy to find it here in Amazon!

It does not dry your skin, it has a pleasant smell that is subtle not overpowering.

It cleans well.

Most importantly, it is hypoallergenic. I am a person who has very sensitive skin I get a bad rash with cheap soap (I am talking public bathroom soap). This soap is very gentle.

I think it has also helped clear my skin it is a long term beenfit of tea tree oil.

Yes, it is expensive, but it is a very good soap for those with sensitive skin.

I tried the Paul Mitchell soap. I didn't like it. It was not gentle and it formed a awful foam and left my skin feeling weird. The bar also went down faster than this one. (With this one you get a nice chunky block of soap).

the kids got this with many other care packages for their dad for fathers day and he liked them all including this item.

I'm not sure if large pores is an accurate description, but a friend of mine has had 2 derm abrasion treatments, has tried the African soap sold on Amazon, and nothing has worked as well as this. I'm serious! Her pores are almost invisible after using this soap for a couple of months. Let me know if I'm right in a couple of months in the text comments. You can thank me later. Trust me, it works!

Black Willow Organic Soap Bars by A Wild Soap Bar

No complaints, it's lathers a lot(questionable about that!) I did some research on the ingredients and there all Acne focused so this product in theory should help with ance.

I personally use it on my body to combat small black heads from forming on my thighs. I've used it on my face here and there but I'd rather perfer something with some acid in it(just my preference!)

Overall, it never made things worse, plus the shipping was fast so they get five stars from me.

I have very sensitive skin and I decided to purchased the coconut bar because the ingredients sounded great.

Except for the "essential oils" part there is no mention of what essential oils are being used.

The soap did leave my skin feeling moisturized however it left a burning sensation. I'm guessing it is because of the unknown essential oils.

I prefer kirk's coconut soap better. I would reccommend this soap to those who aren't sensitives to the unknown ingredients/essential oils.

This soap is gentle enough for my sensitive/oily skin, but also does a great job removing dirt, oils, and the nasty oder my husband brings home-he's a welder.

I have been using this soap for several years and is the only soap I use. It has some small grit in it which is good for all around exfoliating. It is natural, lathers well and the price is right. Excellent product, I highly recommend it.

I love the sharp little bits that are in this soap. I don't know if you remember Lava soap, it felt like very fine sandpaper on your skin, too fine actually. This soap has some bite to it that feels great! Now I need someone to shower with so I can get the feeling on my back. It smells good too.

I started using this soap a few times a week for exfoliating my face, and they are great for that purpose! The shea is nicely moisturizing, as well.

This soap has no scent and the exfoliating pieces are too rough. I would go with simple verbena soap. Overall, I love Out Of Africa products and will continue buying in the future.

de-luxe SaVON Bar Soap Set, Vanilla-Citrus & Loofah 12 ea

We have softened water and was given this type of soap with the system. It works perfect, so when my family ran out, I found your product, which is an excellent substitute. The bar of soap lasts, does not get soggy like some soaps do, and it has a clean feel.

The average guy likely has less than sophisticated understanding of soaps, luxury or otherwise, but this doesn't mean being incapable of appreciating a good thing. My introduction to SaVON de-luxe soap was accidental. Not inclined to seek luxury soaps, but becoming aware less than youthful skin was no longer fully satisfied with Ivory soap in winter, a SaVON de-luxe sampler was purchased on special sale just because of soap ignorance.

If you can't enjoy this soap, you have some unique requirements. Even an average guy can appreciate an obvious rich-feeling lather. Combine this with natural ingredients, mild exfoliate, decent aroma even for an olfactory challenged person, clean feeling face, hands, showered body, skin kept in good condition, long lasting soap bar and a good price (at least when bought in a bulk package of 12 bars), it's a winner.

If you want to maximize the luxury lather feel of this soap, once soap is applied, rub hands, arms, whatever and more lather will foam. Heck, use it in place of shaving cream (soap, rinse, soap, rinse softens facial hair, soap, lather, shave, rinse, works great).

SaVON de-luxe French Milled Soap: never heard of it? Perhaps that's because for most of a decade it's been available primarily from only one online US source (Drugstore.com) and it doesn't appear to be advertised. Even the SaVON de-luxe distributor has disappeared online. But, it is likely Drugstore.com was encouraged by consumers to bring this product back after a short disappearance. Try it and you'll likely champion this soap as well.

Bottom line: when an average guy responds to soap to the extent of being deliberate in finding it, maybe there's a reason. I've been using SaVON de-luxe French Milled Soap for perhaps a decade and will continue its use for as long as it remains available. Not inclined toward (for a guy) more "sweet scented" versions (no disparity or condescension implied toward women), my preferences are Almond and Oatmeal for hands and body, Pure Lavender and Pure Rosemary Mint for face. OK; so even the names are a bit flowery for me; but hay, they have to differentiate soaps somehow, why not ingredients. Buying soaps with names like these is a compromise to acquire a touch of luxury in each day for even an average guy.

To begin with let me just say that I was very skeptical the first time I tried this product. I have had acne since I was a teenager well into my adult life, and as a result have tried desperately to find a solution. My co-worker gave me a free sample to try when I'd told her earlier that i'd tried everything to get rid of my acne, and nothing really worked or only gave modest results. Well, she swore to me that this would help, if not cure, my acne and more so I thought, why not? Simply put, the results were spectacular. My skin has never felt so squeaky clean and clear since childhood, and my ACNE IS GONE. I don't have to wake up every morning and worry about blemishes and unsightly white-heads, I am more confident and feel much better about myself. The soap does not stop there though, since using it I have noticed that my hair is not as oily, my skin is softer and more supple, and I've actually received compliments from people I've known that would never dare say anything to me about my face (especially when it was full of acne!). The feeling is really just more than I can put into words, but I have since opened up a wonderful friendship with my co-worker, and I get excited every time my soap arrives in the mail! Please if you are suffering from acne, or just want to have great skin, you owe it to yourself to get this soap! It really does miracles!

Ok, this is going to be a long one but I want to cover everything. Well, I have only been using this soap for a few days but so far I am totally impressed. I have dealt with skin issues for as long as I can remember and I am one of thse people where nothing seems to work. Or, if it does only for a while. I have combination skin and blemishes most of the time, along with the recent (possible) diagnosis of rosacea. I can get some pretty bad redness and sometimes I get those really deep cystic blemishes OUCH!! I have an event coming up and I had totally broken out and I was desperate.. so I decided to give this a whirl. I figured that being it was all natural it couldn't make anything worse. It has been three days of using this product and my face has really cleared up. No, not completely.. but mostly. I had a few of those deep pimples and those are all but one gone. the rest of my skin is looking very nice as well. I also noticed it has not made things worse before getting better.. it just got better. One of the deep blemishes along my jawline was hanging on for dear life. I decided to dampen my finger a rub it in the soap to make a bit of creamy residue and apply that onto the blemish under my sulfer mask overnight as spot treatment, and it actually reduced the swelling quite a bit. In general the soap has a bit of a strange scent to it because it is all natural and there are no perfumes added. I must note that I am EXTREMELY sensitive to scent and I find it a bit bothersome, though my friend didn't notice anything at all. That being said, I would not stop using it just because of the smell. It isn't that bad and goes away after you are finished using it. I have noticed that my face is MUCH less red and somehow it manages to get rid of the oilyness but at the same time leave my skin with just the right amount of moisture. It's strange it's like a non oily clean moisturized feeling. Something I haven't seen before. I love that because I can't use lotions they make me break out. (yes all kinds) I have also noticed that no new blemishes appear to be forming at all. Another great thing is that it removes makeup and dirt unlike anything I have ever used.. poof it's gone. I do lather it quite a bit on my face and really work it into my pores with my fingertips quite well. It seems to open the pores up more than usual because I can really feel my treatments at work on my skin afterwards. I have noticed that if it gets in my eyes it doesn't feel too nice so I would not recommend that (haha). I use this soap in place of any other cleanser and use my treatments same as usual after. All that being said, I understand that not everything works for everyone but I DO think this is worth trying.

I have mild/moderate keratosis pilaris on my legs and arms, and it's winter here in new england so my skin is doing the whole simultaneously oily and dry thing in different spots. I've been using this soap for a month and a half or so and I have never had skin this soft in my adult life. I even started using it on my face instead of acne wash and my acne is gone. My keratosis is completely gone too. I am also only halfway through one bar and I use it every time I shower, it lasts a long time. Well worth the cheap price, I highly recommend this soap to anyone. It's super mild, gentle, and unscented. Love it.

I did not buy this product through Amazon but we have been using it for several years now. I have very dry skin. My husband has Rosacea. All of my children have differing degrees of Psoriasis. All of us use this soap. For one of my sons using this soap allows him to not have to use medications to control his Psoriasis and for me I no longer get flaky skin. The bars are long lasting. Do not expect to get a lot of lather. I always heard lye soap was, well lye and lye is harsh but not so with this soap. I don't know why but this soap is anything but harsh on the skin. We love it and use nothing except this soap. $5.00 seems a lot for a bar of soap but it lasts for months. I strongly recommend this product.

This bar soap is quite expensive, but it does last a long time and is SO wonderfully fragrant...it is well worth the price. Highly recommend this beautfully fragrant soap.

Godrej Cinthol Soap Red 100g

This is my fav bath since a long long time and Godrej knows it !! It has done little to change the paper packaging, the scent and the presentation. Even if younger Cinthol bath scents have come around in attractive packaging to appeal to the new generation, this along with the Godrej Shave Round has managed to freeze time...A really good value and as you rightly mention, an awesome scent. The scent has memories right from my childhood when a hot bath with Cinthol were the norm in our household.Very good as a shower soap and as a facial soap, doesn't over dry and helps control oily skin.It's Godrej, so it's good. It's on par with any other grocery store soap you'd buy here, and it's a "Grade 1" soap in India with a Total Fatty Matter figure of 76%.Cleans and refreshes. There's a blurb on the wrapper about 24 hour odor control or something. Seems fine to me.

If you take long showers because you never feel clean enough (perhaps internally toxic), most soaps dry out your skin, and you just want a clean feeling when you wash. This is the soap. Also works wonders for skin irritations, heals the skin.

I combine with AAA Shea butter to lightly coat face or a nice body lotion like Triple Lanolin Aloe Vera. I have suggested to young boy family members who say they feel much cleaner also. Its all in the ingredients...great ingredients.

The first time we ordered this, we chose a vendor from the marketplace, and we were shipped a very watery product, that was made by another company. The next time we ordered we ordered from Amazon, and the product was the correct one and has been great. Our skin feels great, not dried out like other soaps.
