The Crabtree and Evelyn shave soap works extremely well. I have been wet shaving for over 2 years now, and this is by far the best quality shave soap that I have used. The soap lubricates my shave extremely well, and allows me to get a closer shave than the Col. Conk soap that I used before. It also leaves my face feeling soft and supple after use. The smell is similar to sandalwood, and leaves a light scent for about an hour or two after your shave. It also comes in a nice wood bowl that makes it easier to store and use that using a mug. This was the first shaving soap I've used since switching to "wet shaving". The soap lathers up rather easily and has a nice smell, but it leaves my skin feeling a bit dry. I wouldnt buy this again and will probably try switching to a cream.
Indigo Wild: Zum Bar Goat's Milk Soap, Dragon's Blood 3 oz
I have sent off for a variety of scents in the Zum Bar goat soap. I didn't just like them. I was excited enough to consider giving them as gifts for others. The coloration is very attractive. The soap has ridges when you start using it, but it becomes smooth after a few mohths of use. I call them high quality. The scents are strong, but I mean that in a real complimentary way. Some companies make poor imitation scents or wimpy, weak, disappearing scents. I think the Indigo Wild people have mastered the art of beautiful and special soaps. Very attractive appearance of product, long life and effectiveness. This time I will try some lip balms. Thanks folks for your excellence.Mary Birgerson

This just smells awesome. Some might consider it a little masculine-smelling, but I'm female and I absolutely love it. Warm, ambery, and a little spicy. Rinses nicely and though it doesn't seem especially moisturizing, it's also not stripping nor does it leave a film. I love the Zum products and the Dragon's Blood us my favorite scent. The soap makes you feel clean and leaves no film but does leave a nice light fragrance.

It doesn't quite smell like cotton candy, however it does have a great scent. It is a lot smaller than what is pictured but it does have a great lather. I would definetly buy this again.

I have used this product for years and find there is nothing to equal it. Apart from being good for your skin it has the added benefit of not clogging bath and shower drains.Redken discontinued it some years ago but responded to demand and reintroduced it in a larger bar size which is probably better.
It looks as though Redken may be discontinuing it again as there is no stock in the UK and I am having to resort to buying in the US which has worked well so far. Delivery from the US source to a US address was no problem and the product condition is first class.

I wanted to find a good natural soap that I could order through the "subscribe & save" program on Amazon and Dr. Bronner's (my usual choice) wasn't available so I gave this a try. I've since gone through 2 bottles of it and am loving it. It's a nice, gentle soap with a pleasant minty smell not overpowering, not chemical-ly. It feels less harsh than the Dr. Bronner's peppermint I used to use, on a daily basis that's a good thing for me, but if you like the strong menthol smell and tingly feeling of the Dr. Bronner's you may not like this one as much. This is an excellent daily wash soap at a great price.

I bought this Castile soap looking for something nice and mild to bathe my son with. Wasn't sure how "grassy mint" was going to smell, but oh boy, I just love this. Even my son likes the smell, he will sniff appreciatively when I start to apply it to him. It reminds me of what Celestial Seasoning's Tension Tamer tea smells like. Very minty, with a hint of herb-y green tea scent.It does a good job getting him clean without stripping all the natural oils like most shampoos. I will admit his hair doesn't look quite so squeaky-clean as with regular baby shampoo, but that's because regular shampoos strip all the natural oils from the hair, whereas this one doesn't.
I've even used it on my own hair with great results. I can't resist the smell, sort of a "Calgon, take me away" moment in the shower.

I have primarily used this soap in the shower and as hand soap. It is a rather watery soap, but it does lather very well. It works great in foaming hand soap dispensers. I use it as a shampoo and as a body wash and really enjoy how it smells and the way it makes my skin and hair feel. I think it really helps with taking care of black heads on my face, since I noticed them clearing up after I started using this soap and that was the only change I've made. I think it's probably due to castile soap removing dirt, but not over-drying the skin and stripping away oil. But your mileage may vary.This didn't smell quite like I would have guessed. I like candles and air fresheners that have that sweet/fresh-cut grass scent. But this has more of a sweet-mint smell, almost like spearmint. It's not overwhelmingly minty, just nice and light. I've tried Dr. Bronner's mint castile soap before and it was much more intensely minty.
Now I want to try the other scents available, too.

everytime I wash my hands with this I feel like I'm rubbing minty gum around my hands. It smells like mint. not very strong but strong enough to feel awkward.I don't know why but this scent is different than lemongrass scent. This soap doesn't wash well. I tried to wash dishes with this and it leaves all the oily feeling to the dish and doesn't wash at all.
I tried washing my hair with this, same thing.

I have used this cleanser on every piercing I've ever received. I usually keep one in the house at all times in case I ever have any problems with the piercing, and the strength of the cleaner has even been beneficial with deep cleansing if you have a form of skin irritation. It's the best!
Also, I have a tripple helix piercing (healed) and recently installed a piece of spiral jewellery. The rigidness of the jewellery irritated the piercings so I was washing with (piercer recommended) sea salt in warm water. However, after 3 months the central piercing remained irritated. It didn't seem infected, only crusty. However, one day I decided to give this a go. 3 days later (using it once daily before bed) all crusties gone!
I will buy more when I get more tats or piercings! Good stuff :)
