Good soap, lasts awhile with no residue. Great for morning and night face washing. Smell isn't as strong as the other Felce Azzurra products, was a little dissapointed in that. But left my skin soft and moisturized without greasy, or flaky, or white soap residue. very nice. Just wish the scent was stronger and the soap was larger for that price. This is nothing more than castile soap with a few herbs and the smallest amount of neem at the end! I wasn't too disappointed, you get what you pay for!
Camay has changed their formula, and if you love Camay for the way it USED to smell, you will be disappointed with the new odor. I call it odor because it is unpleasant and over-perfumed. Camay is misleading customers by calling it "Original Classic Red". This is not the original lightly-fragranced, soft scent. I would give anything to be able to find the real original Camay.

With this harshly scented soap, I felt as though I was bathing with a bar of Felz Naptha, highly scented to hide it's low quality. As this product is also produced outside of the US (if not exclusively now with US companies all getting away from union extortion, high taxes and tariffs), I used to be able to purchase the Latin American version that had the original scent at dollar stores, but I haven't seen it around lately, just the red packages. They must have standardized this funky formula internationally as 'classic'. Too bad, because the original pink was a multi-generational favorite in my family going back to the 1940s. This is a good product. The verbena flavor is just a little less fragrant than for "L'Occitane" product, but there is a huge price difference. The soap is gentle on the skin and does not seem to "melt" in the shower.

I've made my own soap, I've tried a hundred brands, always looking for soap that I will want to continue using. I might have found it. First the size impressed me. I like a larger bar. This one is 7 whopping ounces. Secondly, the smell is incredibly nice. This really is what lemon verbena smells like. And, this is a very good quality soap. It does not get too soft too fast and the lather is quite nice. I have no idea what the true merits of dead sea salt are, but this product is all around an A+ as far as I am concerned. This is the same soap I found in the bungalows at the Bali Hai on Mo'orea, Tahiti in French Polynesia. Its scent is from the tiaré flower, a variety of gardenia which neither looks nor smells like the gardenias in my back yard. The tiaré is the national flower of Tahiti. Tourists are handed a tiaré bud when they get off the plane. There are trays of tiaré buds set out in public places, hotels, restaurants, fruit stands. Men and women put a tiaré bud behind their ear (right for single, left for married) in the morning, where it gradually blooms to adorn the hair and release that exquisite fragrance though in all honesty, while I saw men of all ages wearing the bud, I never did see one with a full blossom behind either ear.

I was sooo excited to purchase this soap, it smelled great as I was taking it out of the paper wrapping, but as the days went by it seems as though the scent faded to almost no scent at all, its moisturizing quality outweighed the scent,I would like to try the other soaps in the other fragrances when I can afford it.
I love this hand soap, the smell is really nice and lasts....it is thick so you just need a little drop to make it lather up. This means the bottle lasts a long time.

I deliver foals for ranchers and end up damp a lot of the time. Yes, a little gross but that's what I do. Anyway, I got tinea versicolor from it. I live in the deep south (Louisiana) so it is hot and humid. I had no idea I had this for years. My doctor was out due to health issues and I saw another one who walked in asking me about it. She gave me some shampoo which worked so so. This worked great. As one lady says it doesn't completely wash off, so it keeps working.

I have used up my first bar. I still see blotches on my skin. I will order a new bar. Also I will start taking a candida yeast supplement along with using the soap.
The bar is larger than expected, bringing up the value of the product. It came in a nice little box so it looked attractive for a gift basket-previous bars of soap from Upper Canada have come plastic wrapped and slightly less gift-ably attractive so this was a nice change. The smell is a muted maple scent that goes well with the other products in the line-creates a decent lather-very similar I would say to the Warm Honey Nectar, but with maple overtones.
This is marvelous soap. I originally ordered their Lemon-Sage, but they were out. They wrote to me, asking if I'd like to try the Lemon Verbena instead, and I said I would. Then they refunded my money *and* sent me some Lemon Verbena soap! Yes, I am one very happy customer. Not only do they provide excellent customer service, they also make a superior product. This is the best soap I've found since Althaea's Soaps and Herbals went out of business.
My complexion is olive-Mediterranean, and I have had an uneven skin tone with serious sun damage for many years. We have been buying this product locally for the past six months. My husband likes the soothing effect that this fragrant soap has on his skin since he suffers from itching a lot. The only negative is how expensive it is, but because of its size, it does last longer than most other lavendar soaps. We are now glad to see that we can purchase it online through Amazon since our local store has moved to a different location that is farther away from where we live. I'm planning to start buying it now through Amazon.
