The Lather products are not scented; rather they are infused with natural product that have a scent. The soap is a non-melting soap. The soap has been in the shower area for weeks and retains the square shape. I use the Lather muscle rub and afterwards I wash my hands with my soap becasue my usual liquid hand soap cannot remove the rub. This is a line of products that are well worth your time and money to try.
I bought this item after reading on ehow.com that licorice root extract works well on fading dark spots. I was getting dark patches on my face like my mother did when she was my age. I hoped I would not get them but Oh No!!! Anyway with my first use, I saw a difference. The exfoliation was magnificent. My skin squeaked. I washed my whole body, then rinsed and as I toweled off my skin was still sloughing. So I got back in the shower and used a loofah along with the soap again. OMG I could not believe the dead skin I must of had that I missed all this time even with using a loofah sponge! So when I shower or bathe I wash once, rinse wait a couple minutes then wash again as this soap keeps working to exfoliate apparently after the first wash. Now as for lightening... I was going somewhere after my 3rd use of this soap and I put on my foundation. I was amazed that my face had become too light for it. I had to buy lighter make-up! All over my body I am at least a shade lighter and on my face and arms perhaps as much as 2 shades. The only setback is you must moisturize since your skin will be striped but you should moisturize anyway right? I bought another bar and am back for more as I do not want to be without. Oh and after my bath or shower even washing my face my nails are whitened like I scrubbed them for 10 minutes! Even after I garden.
This product is just the like one that I usually purchase from the store, only cheaper. It is great for my skin.

A 7 oz bar of soap, is a big bar of soap... It's not a good size for little hands. The soap's color is the same as Brut's dark-green packaging -it's color makes you stare when you see it for the first time. To top things off, I get the constant wonderful smell of Brut in my shower. I LOVE THIS SOAP..!

I found this product while searching online for a natural product to bathe my children with. I ended up buying a small bottle at Whole Foods to see if I liked it before spending $21.00 on two Giant Bottles. Let me tell you the small bottle at Whole Foods was 8 oz and $6.00 so Amazon has an amazing deal. I was so excited to try it on my kids that I gave them a bath right away. It lathers up very well and rinses very easily. The only downside to this particular variety is that there is no scent really. It kind of has an olive oily scent for a second and then it rinses off. My kids have soft skin after using this though and I have no need to put lotion on them afterwards. I love this and plan on using this for a long time to come. I even used it on myself and couldn't beleive how moisturized my skin felt afterwards. A little goes a long way too my little 8 oz bottle will last a long time afterwards I will definately be buying from Amazon. I just wish they had on Subscribe and Save so that I would never run out. This makes great foaming hand soap. I put about a half inch of soap in an empty, thoroughly cleaned Dial or Method foaming soap dispenser and fill it up with water. You can adjust the mixture to your desired level of creaminess. I use the unscented foam to wash vegetables, but the peppermint is my favorite for hands. One gallon lasted me about 3 years, so it's a cheaper as well as safer alternative to commercial hand soaps. I've been using the same dispensers for five years, and they are starting to stick in the down position, but it's easy enough to pull them up. After reading reviews of several foam soap dispensers offered on Amazon, I'd rather purchase more Dial dispensers, pour out the toxic soap, and refill them with the Dr. Bronner's mixture.Want Dr. Bronners Baby Unscented 32 oz. I can't say enough good things about this soap!! I first came across Dr. Bronner's soap when I was looking for a mild, fragrance free (ie phalate free), non-toxic soap for my baby. Dr. Bronner's came highly recommended by our pediatrician and friends with babies. We've been using it as shampoo, body wash, and laundry detergent for our baby and it's been great! It lathers very well and a little goes a long way. Our whole family has since began using it for everything--shampoo, face wash, body wash, hand soap, detergent, even dishwashing liquid. I love that it's made of natural oils (and not some toxic, petroleum-derived chemicals). Even the bottle is 100% recycled plastic. Love it! Love it! Love it! Just wish I found it sooner.

I received this as a Christmas present and I love it! I sliced half the loaf on Christmas Day and wrapped the pieces in plastic wrap. It smells great, doesnt leave any soapy residue on my skin and as long as its placed in a soap tray in the shower, the bars last a decent amount of time. Im ordering more!
This stuff smells like lemon...not lemongrass. I was really disappointed by that. It is also a somewhat watery soap. It will work but is not what I'd hoped for.

I find the scent of this Icy Blast version of Irish Spring reminds me of the men's cologne Polo Sport. My husband actually bought this version by mistake one day, when picking up his usual Irish Spring soap. He took to it right away, and hasn't wanted to go back to the original since. He really likes the smell a lot, and I find I do too. I've been buying it for him for several months now, and it's still his favorite. The bars of soap are a blue color, instead of the traditional Irish Spring green color. We love Irish Spring bar soap and buy them by the dozens. Compared to other soaps this is a great value and not harsh on my sensitive skin. When I use liquid soap at work my hands become dry, itchy and scaly. Not a problem with Irish Spring soap and I use it all the time. I tried more expensive brands like Dove Beauty Bar and didn't like it better.
I wear makeup every day so finding a safe cleanser to get it off with is always what I'm after. Read a lot about the black soap so I decided to give it a try. I read that a lot of people use it for their acne, but I don't have acne or oily skin, it's dry to normal, so I was a little leery about using it. I'm just looking for a really good natural cleanser to remove my makeup effectively. So as far as cleaning my face goes, it effectively removed all my makeup. It also left my face squeaky clean. Never had that happen before. But I question whether that is too drying or not. Well I can't say if that would have totally dried out my face because shortly after washing I put on a thin layer of coconut oil and then my moisturizer. (Night time regime) Now the part I'm having a hard time with is the smell. Oh my, at first it reminded me of a men's cologne and I thought, "well, that's not so horrible" but then it just became sickening to me. The smell does eventually go away. If it weren't for the smell I would have given it five stars because it very effectively cleaned my face.**** Now this is an update to my review. I am still using the black soap cleanser and I don't even notice the smell anymore. I really am liking the black soap cleanser. I'm very happy with it.

I love this stuff. I steam clean my carpet with it, do my dishes with it (the peppermint one), do my laundry, wash my body, Clean the bathroom, tub, etc with it...even wash my dog..he has very sensitive skin and rash on his underbelly all the time and this seems to alleviate the irritation better than dog shampoo. I love the fact that is is harmless to the environment and it takes very little amounts to clean things. It's really emptied the under cabinets in the bathroom and kitchen, as this is the only cleaning agent I own now.

This product came quickly and was what I ordered, I just thought I was ordering the old (original) Lux soap and this wasn't it. It was a gift for a couple of elderly people who couldn't find Lux soap anywhere and they seem to like it, so that's what's important. Expensive with the shipping charges.
I bought this soap because I've read good things that turmeric can do for the skin. I have not used it that much yet, so I cannot tell that it has done a whole lot, and especially since it is a soap, it doesn't seem to be very moisturizing, but the nicest thing about this soap is the scent! Very strong. I keep it in the box it came in to store under the cabinet when not in use and sometimes when I'm in the tub, using a different soap/bodywash, I can still smell the soap from the cabinet! It's so strong! I would actully recommend just setting the soap out on the counter in a dish to smell up the room if nothing else. I will have to wait and see if after using it on a more regular basis, if I see any improvement or change to my skin.
Having used Weleda Iris Products for 30 years I swear by them.The Soap especially as it is gentle enough that I was able to use it on my 3 sons as newborns.The Iris Soap is particularly effective as an astringement to keep the oils from building up as some soaps cause that on extra sensitive skin such as mine.Try it once and you will be hooked for life.
