Lava Soap Bar

I do heating and air conditioning for a living and frequently work on oil-burning furnaces. Working even for a little while with an oil furnace can certainly make you stink of oil. I have tried other soaps and even tried multiple at a time but to no avail. Decided I would give this a try and only purchased one bar. You will notice immediately that this soap has pumice in it and it feels like sandpaper on your skin. I was completely expecting this and therefore was not surprised. I have used this same bar for about a month and it is almost ready for a new one. It does work extremely well and can take the toughest stains and smells out of your skin. My arms and hands no longer smell like I've been on an oil rig and will certainly purchase this product again. I'm so glad that I finally found something that works. Buy this and you should not be disappointed.

Great soap I like to use it after cooking , cleaning! Oh and on my elbows,knees and feet anyways I found it cheap 97 cent at walmart in the soap isle usually all the way at the top great product!

I have used many pumice containing hand cleaners, but this soap takes all of them by a far lead. I garden a lot and at the end of the day my hands are caked with dirt trapped between the ridges of my finger prints essentially caking it on there. This soap really removes all of it and you do not need a scouring pad because the soap it self is gritty like soft fine sand paper like 800 grit. For really caked on area i just use the soap as the scouring pad and because it is gritty it never slips out of my hand. When you have the soap (not the bar of soap) on your hands it feels very smooth like facial soap.

The only con (stupid complaint but some people dont like it) is that it really leaves a heavy soap film feeling on your hand. Also the smell really clings onto your hands for several hours after using.

I like another buyer here bought this soap at walmart for 97 cents, they sold them of packs of two.

Mustad No-Scent Aluminium Soap Bar

This isn't the biggest aluminum soap bar out there, but I think that's part of why I love it so much. It gets in between fingers and is easy to use for smaller, daintier hands. You big guys can just rub your hands on the stainless steel sink and feel fine about it but ladies, you're going to appreciate that this one can get the onion-chopping smell off of your fingertips.

I am Very disappointed it has lead in it and I do not feel it is safe to use it.

I read the reviews and by having so many good reviews I bought the product. I received the item in less then three days so i was able to use it right away. The bar of soap is two inches thick and heavy well worth the price. It has a generic bar soap smell, but not too bad. The exfoliating bits feel like pumas stone or some other harsh exfoliant. Very harsh for sensitive skin, but I liked it and felt it did an awesome exfoliating job. It also works well if you use a scrubby full of its lather instead of using the bar to your skin. I would leave the foam on my skin for a bit and then rinse. I feel like this product is working. I havent used it more then a few days but I can already see a slight difference. I will post back in a week to let you know more. All in All the bar is great and I would definitely recommend this product.

I have fair or medium olive skin of polish/hungarian decent and my skin looks a lot better. I didnt have much of an issue with spots or anything, i just wanted a more even skin tone and a soap to remove any form of tan or uneven spots.

I wasn't. I used this for a few days and every time I used it, the next day I would break out like crazy and the breakouts wouldn't go away. It took, literally, 5 weeks for my skin to clear up after using the soap. Went straight into the trash.

European Soap Pdp Bar Soap Pa Ananas Pineapple 250 G

I'm returning this year to buy a few more Pre de Provence soaps for Christmas gifts. Soaps aren't normally something I'd get too excited about. However, I used a couple myself and have been hearing back from some of last year's recipients. They went crazy over them, and if you're on the edge about spending $5 or 10 on a bar of soap, I understand. Yet here I am to buy two or three more.

If you've found yourself here, chances are you've already heard how these soaps smell...yes, they're pretty incredible. It gets you up a bit faster in the morning by appealing to your sense of smell. The pineapple is a favorite, but coming from the relatives, so were European Soaps Lavender Scented Shea Butter Pre De Provence and Rose Petal Soap 150g bar by Pre de Provence (watch the soap size...they typically come in a 250 gram size, although some are only 150 gram, and it affects the price accordingly. Also, Amazon and it's featured vendors have some price variability for the exact same products, so look around, as that can change from day-to-day). The PdP soaps also last surprisingly long. That won't mean they last as long as, say, 6 bars of Ivory or Irish Spring. I'd estimate one PdP bar lasts around 2 1/2 3 times as long as 1 bar as the mass-produced cheaper soaps. Part of the reason for that is they don't become nearly so mushy in the soap dish, so you actually get to use up virtually all of the soap. I also noticed they leave much less scum in the shower, saving me a bit on shower cleaner but mostly the elbow-grease to remove soap film in the shower stall. Related to that, I don't think they leave nearly as much build-up on your skin either.

So I'll leave it to you to decide if this becomes your daily soap, or an occasional indulgence. But they are worth trying.

I really look forward to showering with this soap. The aroma is amazing!! It smells like fresh cut pineapple. I simply close my eyes and inhale! I've been using the bar for almost 3 weeks and the fragrance has stayed the same. It is also a long-lasting soap as the bar has pretty much maintained its same size. The only downside was that the covering was a thin sheer wrapping. I had to take each bar out the box and place in individual baggies because I did not want to mix odors. They make very presentable small gifts and I have given away two bars. I will definitly purchase more of these soaps.

I have been using Dr. Bronner's products for almost 2 years now. I really enjoy most of them and I like how there are virtually no harmful chemicals that I am putting on my body. I bought the Gallon of Eucalyptus because I find that during the winter when my skin is dry, the Eucalyptus helps with my dry skin better than some of the other scents (Peppermint). I use the Peppermint during the summer when that isn't an issue. Also I like to use this as a shampoo every now and then, and it doesn't dry my scalp as much. One thing that I think could be better is the scent, it's not bad, but it reminds me of cough syrup for some reason. This product, like the other scents, also can be used to clean such as floors, countertops, bathrooms etc. so it is particularily nice to keep in the shower, and then I can grab it to clean a spill or dirt in the bathroom. I dilute this product probably 1/5 product to water.

This soap is fantastic.....works just like the others but smells like eucalyptus. Wonderful smell and perfect for the winter. Normally I use peppermint, but it cools you so much it's not good for the cold climate so i switched to this and love it.

I have used Dr. Bronners for many years. I've been using this product for the last 20 years. It has never left my skin feeling dry, or left a film on me like "body wash" does. It has the great clean scent of Rosemary (unlike Neutrogena).

I always buy 6 bars or so, unwrap them and let them air dry so they last longer.

It's not a deodorant soap,a perfumed soap, or a fancy soap.

It very simply gets me clean and feeling fresh.

As long as they keep making it, I'll keep using it.

This Pears soap is absolute rubbish, nothing like the original at all. Why do they pay idiots to "improve" on a tried and true recipe! It smells horrible, looks cheaply made, and is so watered down it only lasts a couple of weeks, instead of months for the old type. Of course that is probably a good thing. I mean to use it up washing the dogs.

I ordered two packages of Pears Soap, thinking it would smell and look just like the Pears Soap I have grown accustomed to using and loving when I go to London every couple of years. However, it was nothing like the original Pears Soap!! I was greatly disappointed, and after the fact, I read all the reviews, and that was the biggest complaint about this "new" Pears soap.
