i like this soap rinses well and dosent make me itch. hubby likes the antibacterial effect he works hard and gets dirty all day.

I expected these soaps to have more "smell" to them, especially since they list what flower they are made to smell like. I couldn't smell much at all when washing, or on my skin afterwards. They melted much to fast for me, was kind of disappointed. I have purchased other soaps on Amazon i am much happier with.

Well, I tried this shea butter soap by Dalan and I'm glad it's "satisfaction guaranteed" because while I do get a good sense of being clean after taking a shower, the soap just doesn't smell all that great! I thought that maybe (especially as a guy) I simply don't know what shea butter cream soap is supposed to smell like but I can't imagine too many people liking the scent of this soap. True, the scent is not overpowering; but it's just not that pleasing, either.
I was really excited when I saw in the drugstore that Yardley had a new feminine scented soap since I LOVE Yardley soaps because they are actually "cakes" of soap (that actually get softer and fall apart sooner or later vs mass drugstore consumer soaps) that are affordable with REAL natural ingredients that are not just mass produced with lots of cheap chemicals like other soaps. And I LOVE fruity/light floral scents. But when I tried the pomegranate rose soap, it didn't lather well and when I bathed with it, there was very little pomegranate rose scent and it didn't scent my body as I thought it would. In fact, the soap was as hard as a rock with no real moisturizing. It's a great idea but badly executed.

No complaints but it is not my favorite. I prefer the lemon shea butter and lavendar. I may give it another try

For some reason, the lavender scent in this soap makes this soap smell unappealing, like antiseptic cleanser. But the soap itself was pretty good. I used an exfoliating gloves to apply the soap. Not much lather but it gets me clean and it doesn't dry my skin out. I plan to get more, but probably unscented.
We bought this soap while on holiday in Spain and we were delighted to find it in the USA at an affordable price. We love the black color and the soap does have a nice scent and lather.
This is my favorite Dove soap ever I was so pleased to be able to purchase the 48 bars and have them delivered to my front door. I have 46 bars left and do not look forward to the end of these as Dove discontinued this product.

I love the scent of this soap, it cleans gently yet effectively. Small exfoliating beads (?) or something feel wonderful, the only dove soap i know of that has them. This is the most amazing soap! The fragrance is nice, but the soap leaves my skin feeling great. I like the small size because I have arthritis in my hands and it's easier to use the smaller bars. Don't mind paying the price for this quality of product. The Linden fragrance is great too.
