The Lather products are not scented; rather they are infused with natural product that have a scent. The soap is a non-melting soap. The soap has been in the shower area for weeks and retains the square shape. I use the Lather muscle rub and afterwards I wash my hands with my soap becasue my usual liquid hand soap cannot remove the rub. This is a line of products that are well worth your time and money to try.
Good soap, lasts awhile with no residue. Great for morning and night face washing. Smell isn't as strong as the other Felce Azzurra products, was a little dissapointed in that. But left my skin soft and moisturized without greasy, or flaky, or white soap residue. very nice. Just wish the scent was stronger and the soap was larger for that price. I have used this soap for a week and I LOVE it! It has left my skin soft, smooth, and oil free even in 100 degree humid heat. But, what most people need to understand is HOW to use this soap. DO NOT use a wash rag, poof, sponge, or any other device. Use ONLY your hands! Wet your hands, lather the soap up in your hands, then wash your body from head to toe with ONLY YOUR HANDS. You do not need to scrub! Of course you will get too dry & itchy if you are scrubbing too hard with this soap. This soap cleanses so well you only need your HANDS. If you do break out after a couple of days of using this soap, don't give up. I too got a few bumps after a few uses, but they are now clearing up and going away. I think this maybe due to the soap getting the impurities out of my pores. I LOVE THIS SOAP! I only wish I had found it years ago! My freckles seem to be fading, old pimple scars are fading, my pores are shrinking, and my over all skin tone is evening out! Just remember DO NOT SCRUB! Be gentle & the soap will be gentle to you!

When I used this soap on my face, my skin felt squeaky clean and tight. On my body, it cleared some of my skin, but not all. When I got a rash from an allergic reaction to my new cat, this soap cleared it up in a few days. I would definitely recommend this soap to someone else. It has a mild, soapy scent. It does leave brown residue where ever you leave it in the shower. It also lathers up a little brown at first. I wouldn't recommend you use it on a white sponge or a washcloth.This product did what every single Macy's, Online & infomercial line of products has not been able to do. It completely cleared up my skin, evened my skin tone and unclogged & shrunk the appearance of my pores. It also did the same for my 60 year old mother and my 82 year old grandmother (I am 28 with sensitive, combo skin). When you wash your face/body with this product, right after your top layer (dead skin cells) will crumble right off with some help (exfoliant/washcloth). Your skin will feel dry after using it so put on some moisturizer and you'll be set. Your skin will be unbelievable smooth. The only thing that I did not like was that the expiration date was not visible on this pack but I just purchased a 3 pack and all the dates were visible. I love it and tell everyone about it.

I've used South of France products, both bar and liquid soaps, for over a year. I liked them because they don't dry out my skin like most other soaps do. I notice they've changed the packaging (I don't like the new packaging), and it looks like they've changed the formulation too. I've tried comparing the old and new ingredients label, and I'm no chemist, but the new stuff seems different than the old ingredients. It's less fragrant (which is not that big of a deal) but I've noticed my hands are getting drier. I wish they'd left the product alone. If my hands don't improve soon, I'll probably be looking for a better product, but in the meantime, this is still the best one I know of.

I love that this soap has so few ingredients and no chemicals. It smells great and keeps my hands moisturized. Having a 4 month old, I wash my hands many times a day and they never feel dry with this soap.

I wanted to find a good natural soap that I could order through the "subscribe & save" program on Amazon and Dr. Bronner's (my usual choice) wasn't available so I gave this a try. I've since gone through 2 bottles of it and am loving it. It's a nice, gentle soap with a pleasant minty smell not overpowering, not chemical-ly. It feels less harsh than the Dr. Bronner's peppermint I used to use, on a daily basis that's a good thing for me, but if you like the strong menthol smell and tingly feeling of the Dr. Bronner's you may not like this one as much. I have primarily used this soap in the shower and as hand soap. It is a rather watery soap, but it does lather very well. It works great in foaming hand soap dispensers. I use it as a shampoo and as a body wash and really enjoy how it smells and the way it makes my skin and hair feel. I think it really helps with taking care of black heads on my face, since I noticed them clearing up after I started using this soap and that was the only change I've made.
