Australian made French milled Raspberry natural soap

This soap is exquisite; a chance to add luxury to the day for a small price. One bar has lasted through months of bathing. The raspberry scent is luscious, and just enough to linger a few minutes after I have washed with it. Definitely something I will order again and something I will give as a small pick-me-up gift to others.

I've been using this soap since 2005, and I won't use anything else. Aside from the fact that is it gentle on my skin, never irritating or drying, the scent of it alone is all the reason anyone needs to use it. It is the loveliest, most feminine, soft white floral scent I have ever found. I use one 12 oz bar in exactly two months, so the subscription service is perfect for me.

I love Provence Sante soaps, but usually I buy the Bergamot scent, which is in fact wonderful. But somewhere I saw that this was their most popular scent so I decided to try it. When I opened the plastic wrap I sniffed it and it really didn't have much of a scent at all. I like their soaps because they produce a really nice satisfying lather and leave you feeling squeaky clean, but not dried out, with a light scent residue that doesn't interfere with perfumes--so I love Provence Sante soaps. I wasn't going to reject the Linden because it didn't seem to smell of much of anything--that's OK too. But here is the deceptive part. I put the soap in the shower stall all untouched and ready for the morning. The next morning my bathroom had been perfumed with a clean, slightly sweet, not girl-y at all scent, and not an overpowering scent. It just smells fresh and clean--despite the chaos and mess in my bathroom. After a week at least it's still smells wonderful in the bathroom. Now I get why Linden is their most popular scent because it is so aromatic that scents the air wonderfully, without being overpowering in any way on the skin. I recommend it without reservation.

Yes, it's expensive, but worth every penny. The scent is just...clean. Very refreshing. If you're not sure what a 12oz bar of soap is like; it's huge. I usually cut this in half and it lasts months.

I first bought Alpen Olive Oil soap while I was traveling through North Carolina off the highway at J&R. I used it while we vacationed and when I got back home, I could not find it in any local stores here in Virginia, so I checked Amazon and found it. I ordered and within a few days, my order was on my doorstep. This soap is so fragrant and creamy...and has such a fresh smell. I wouldn't say it contains a lot of olive oil, but it does moisturize well. Its also made in Canada and I've bought a lot of fine products from Canada. Hope this review was helpful.

About me and my skin, I am 32, still suffer occasional acne breakouts though nowhere near as badly as I did in my teens and twenties. I have sensitive, combination skin, with a typically ruddy, uneven complexion. I use Thayer's lavender witch hazel as a toner, and burt's bees sensitive daily moisturizer routinely.

I have been using this bar as a facial cleanser for a few weeks. I use it twice a day, morning and evening. While slightly drying, it makes my skin tone much more even and consistent. I have also seen fewer pimples since beginning the use of this product. After cleansing, my skin feels clean, with no residue, and tight, though not uncomfortably so. I follow it immediately with toner and moisturizer as mentioned above, which also keeps my skin from becoming too dry.

Upon receiving this product, I immediately cut it into thirds, since my experience with bar soaps is that they tend to melt quickly and waste the soap. I also use a soap saver to keep it from sitting in water in my shower or on my sink. With these precautions already taken, I have been pleasantly surprised that I have not had much soap loss. I think my next bar I will cut in half, simply because the bar is large and might be awkward in hand, but cutting it into thirds seems excessive.

Altogether, I like this soap very much, I saw a noticeable improvement in the tone and clarity of my complexion in as little as 2 days of use. Continued use of this product has not left my skin overly dry or irritated like other cleansers I have used before. It has a light, pleasant fragrance, also a plus since I do not like highly scented products on my face. I do plan to purchase again!

Great scent, feels great on the skin, what more can I say, I just love it. It lasts forever...as long as you do not leave it for the shower head flow to wash it down the drain. But if you love to soak in the bath, this lasts forever..

I bought this for my mother as a gift. She loves rose soap, especially French made! This soap has a great fragrance that lasts but is not over-powering, and it is gentle on the skin.

We had been using Bronner's soaps because they are made of simple ingredients, are easy-to-find, and are low-toxicity, vegan castile soaps. The one thing that I've never been hugely impressed with in Bronner's aside from the entertainingly kooky writing is the scents. I've tried any number of them, and rose is the only one I've truly liked and no one around here sells it.

So, when Kiss My Face released their castile soap, I decided to give it a shot. And I love it. The two fragrances I like best Lavender Mandarin and Clary Sage Lemongrass are just heavenly. Since i can't choose between them, I often keep a bottle of each around. I wash my hair with this soap, use it as a body wash, add a little to a water/vinegar mix and mop the floor with it, use it for hand soap, hand-washing delicate clothing...

I've even used it to replace our Ecover Stain Treater that may be contaminated with dioxin. I was surprised to find the castile soap is working just as well on my kids' stained clothing!

It is pricey. Fortunately, a small amount goes a long way. I think, even with the multitude of things I use it for, that a single bottle will last anywhere from two weeks to a month. When I consider that I've rid myself of most household cleaners, shampoos and soaps and all the nasty chemicals that come with these products, the price isn't actually a deterrent. Add to that the pleasant smell making this an enjoyable product to use and it's 100% worth it.

If you're a fan of Bronner's but are looking for the perfect scent, give Kiss My Face a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I received Kiss My Face as a gift. I used it for washing my hands, washing clothes, cleaning the sink, and scrubbing dishes. I had a pan that had cooked on crud on it, and the dishsoap and scrub brush wasn't working. I put some Kiss My Face on it, and I couldn't believe it the grease and everything came off so easily! Highly recommended!

I bought this soap to see if I liked it better than Dr. Bronner's soap. Here's my thoughts on it:

PROS:

Natural, gentle, chemical free soap

Kiss My Face donates part of its profits to the Seeds of Peace organization, which is apparently a camp for kids to learn tolerance and understanding of others from different backgrounds.

Smells great! (Although I only smell the lavender, no mandarin)

CONS:

This soap does not lather! That's kind of a bummer.

More like a gel, and not great for shaving unless you are completely out of the water.

Bottom line: If you don't mind not getting your lather on in the shower and just want a simple, easygoing soap, this one's for you! I think I will go back to my Dr. Bronner's though.

Organic Peppermint Bar Soap

Wonderful soap! It lasts long and develops a silky, bubbly, almost creamy lather. It rinses off well and leaves behind no residue. It also does not dry my skin. The fragrance is invigorating, but more on the mild side. Beware however, it contains peppermint oil and so it definitely leaves your skin with a little tingle. Very refreshing and lovely in the summertime, but I do not recommend it for more delicate/private areas of the body. The only reason I originally hesitated buying it was because of the price but now think it's not expensive since it last so so long.

A great organic bar soap has a very stimulating scent and feel very very good on the skin

Vegetable Based Almond Bath Soap

I bought my almond fragranced box of three 8 oz triple milled soapbars at Marshall's for $5.99 without s/h costs. The soapbars are giant sized.(My shared images #2 and #3). However, the soap selling here in the Amazon is 12 oz., even more huge than the ones I bought.

I prefer my soaps soft in texture (just because of the fact I don't like feeling I'm cleaning myself with a hard rock) and the soapbar surface is soft textured in the bath, but this soap is so hard durable that when I tried to cut into them with a metal stick while they were on a plastic container, the plastic container broke apart, so I'm sure they will last a long time. The fragrance is powerful with beautiful almond fragrance outside the bath and while bathing and the soapbar has GENEROUS lathering. They remind me of Castelbel soaps but the lather is MUCH more generous and it feels great in the hands, becoming softer in texture while bathing.

As an everyday soap for bathing and/or handwashing, aromatherapy or as a gift, the soap would be great.

For $12 for a 12 oz luxury soapbar + s/h, that's pretty much fair in the ballpark, especially for the quality of a great fragrance, lathering, well-textured soap. However, there are LOTS of different CST soaps at bargain prices at stores like Marshall's so that's one of the first places I'd go if I wanted a CST soap.

As with any soap, if you want to have it last longer, keep it away from water and get a soapholder with holes on the bottom so the water doesn't stay to liquefy the soap.

this soap is amazing and smells devine it is large so it will last a while and you will love how it smells! I highly recommend it! Also in a beautiful box!

Clean, fresh and natural!

This soap is my favorite and I have used it for years. It is not drying or irritating and has a calming effect on all the senses.

Buying it in relative bulk from Amazon is a very nice way to do so; it comes quickly with reasonable packaging as it is "ready to ship".

My daughter's mother-in-law sent me two of these soaps...I had never heard of it so I decided to give it a try. I love the soap. It leaves a lasting soft scent on the body all day long. It is a soft scent, not perfumy like regular soaps. I, in turn, bought some and shared with one of my friends. She also liked it.

Mysore Sandal soap is, quite simply, the best soap available on the market today. The fact that it is made in a government run factory in India means that it costs a fraction of the price of other quality soaps. Elegant it is not, but what do you expect for less than $3 per bar? I suppose it goes without saying that Sandalwood is, by far, my favoutite aroma. I'm obviously not alone in that. Kingsley Soapy Mesh Soap Holder/Scrubber Pink

I love these little scrubbers. I do not use them as soap holders, but they lather up great when used with shower body wash.

The soap falls out of the bag there is no way to secure the soap and as you start using the sack the soap falls out ! It is a poor copy of a good product.

I am not big into scents and get overwhelmed easily, that being said, I adore this soap. Actually, so does my husband and anyone else that uses it. The smell lingers with you and is warm and intoxicating without assaulting your nose. I use it in the bathroom, we are in a one bedroom apt.
