I love the smell of this soap and luckily it does last. Because it's $20 a bar I don't splurge very often and when I do I cut the bar in quarters to make it last even longer.

Lifebuoy Care Soap -white-4.4oz
Large 4.4 oz bar. Has a light fresh smell and is not like the original Lifebuoy soap. This soap is manufactured in the West Indies by Unilever and is professionally packaged. Contains Triclosan as the antibacterial agent that is related to the Phenol compounds found in the carbolic soaps. Lathers very very well. I like the added protection of using a soap that has a specific compound to impair bacteria and fungus. I rotate this with my sulfur and rose soap so my skin wont dry out. This is high quality soap and isnt easily found in any store. The FDA has found that triclosan is not harmful to humans and is approved in certain brands of toothpaste for control of gum disease.

I bought these to put in a nice soap dish I purchased and wanted the soaps to be used. They have a nice scent I would describe more like lemon verbina and are very moisturizing. One thing I find amazing about these soaps is my son had grease on his hands and went into our guest bath to wash up and these little soaps got the grease off his hands better than the special soaps I buy for the guys. I am not going to buy this for them to degrease with because of the price but is very interesting this soap works better.

This soap doesn't sud much but it still cleans very well. I use this as a hand soap and also brush my teeth with it.This works well as a tooth soap as it doesn't have that sour taste that regular soaps have, and it's not alkali and abrasive to my teeth and gums so I can use this soap on a regular basis for clean teeth. I stopped using toothpaste as the glycerin in regular (even organic) toothpastes give me sensitive teeth.

Soap Witch Hazel 3.25 Ounces

I have used Crabtree and Evelyn soap before and was very pleased, but this particular kind has hardly any scent. Peace,I lucked out and purchased the liquid version of this by the same company from my local natural food store (Lori's) who happened to be running a sale. I have used the "Liquid African Black Soap 8oz" (version) by Alaffia ON myself and toddler (we are black) as a body cleanser including our faces and hair and it was AMAZING!!!!! The wonderful feel left on our bodies and hair texture was immediately noticed! I am hooked and look forward to trying the rest of the line!First off, it didn't come as pictured. It came wrap in saran wrap with a homemade, printed out a printer label saying raw black soap. We paid for it so we tried it as face soap. It has your skin soft, most people's faces are soft and not rough. ANyway it did nothing for acne bumps. I used it for myself, my hubby, and children because they were having breakouts, and nothing. Waste of money!!

I love this soap. I have very dry skin, and most soaps don't help with that. Even non-drying soap, while not adding to the dryness, also don't help. This one does. And the skin benefits of coconut oil are well documented. So I lather it up and use it on my hair, too. The only problem I have with the bar is that it doesn't last long. But then I love it so much I use it constantly, so it may be me rather than the product.Update: I think I figured out why the bars don't last long they are under-cured. What I do is order a bunch at a time, take them all out of the plastic, and let them air cure for at least 4 weeks before use. They last much longer.

I purchased the lotion and the soap at the same time and I was not thrilled by the smell of the soap. It is moisturizing which is why I gave it 2 stars but the smell is horrible. This is pricey but worth it as the ingredients are simple and high quality. The smell is heavenly andlingers in the bath. Gentle and effective. I will buy again and again.
