I just saw this soap about a month or so ago at the grocery store and thought I'd try it. I keep it in the kitchen by the sink. It has been so handy. I shave off bits to do the dishes. I wash up with it, even after gardening, and it is wonderful. It also keeps two young active boys clean and that is enough of an endorsement! I have used it to pre-treat laundry, wash counters, scrub pans. I could go on and on (and have) but this soap is just great to have around. I am glad I was curious. I have read it treats acne too!

When I was a kid my Mamaw sent Papaw to the store to buy a bar of Octagon Soap after I had been out in the woods on their farm all day. She told me to wash any parts that were exposed while I was in the woods and I wouldn't break out in poison ivy, which happened to me every time. Sure enough she was right. The juice from poison ivy adheres to your skin really well and this soap will wash it right off and usually prevent a rash if you don't wait too long to use it (no more than a few hours).

This stuff is an all around good product. With many uses. Anything that you could come up with it will work on. You can use it to clean household things, wash dishes, or even treat your acne ridden skin. Its a great product. I remember as a child at my grannies house using this soap to bathe with every night after being out side all day and playing. Its a great product give it a try it won't cost you much, And it almost lasts a lifetime. I have had mine for some time now and only gone through about 1 inch worth of it. You just slice a sliver off and keep going.

I think the soap works wonderfully. I use it to get stains out of clothing, especially ring around the collar; I love the feeling of being squeaky clean, so I even shower with it. I would give it 5 stars if it weren't for the price. $10 for this soap is a rip-off. I was so excited that I found it on Amazon first, that I immediately assumed that this was the best price. However, after doing a little research. This soap can be found as low as .99 cents. 1000% mark up is a little absurd.

I bought this so I could have non-liquid soap in my suitcase to use for washing laundry. I like to pack in carry-on's so I can only have so much liquid. This is perfect and worked very well last week on my trip to mexico.

I love this soap. For one it does not dry out my skin like most soaps. Second it is relatively cheap if you buy it in bulk and the scent is very clean. The bar doesn't last too long not short, but not long either which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. This is my go-to soap until something better comes along. Different scent would be a plus but since it is new I'm sure if sales are good enough they'll create more scents. I would recommend it to any man who has trouble with dry skin.

We're 6 bars in with this soap and very happy. It lasts a long time and is gentle on the skin. Aside from basic cleaning I use it to form a lather to shave my legs and it works great. I am allergic to most scented products and this is my favorite unscented soap. Please keep carrying it!

Look I'm going to be blunt and to the point here, recently these bars of soap have started to smell like fragrance and are beginning to burn my skin.

I have eczema and 4 months ago I didn't have any problems with this soap, but recently I ordered about 12 bars and they ALL have very strong fragrances.

Very disappointed, I thought maybe I got bad batches but there's another review on here also noticing the artificial fragrance.

A very nice soap because its unscented but still foamy . My baby has eczema and i've heard shea butter form africa are great for the skin. It worked will on my baby's skin because i was looking for unscented soap at the store and couldn't find one .

I discovered this soap in Walgreen's, but they no longer carry it. It is gentle and non-drying because of the high shea butter content, and it doesn't irritate my skin as many commercial products do. I use it for face and body washing and as my shampoo because of my scalp sensitivity. I lather it in my hands and then apply it to my hair--it works beautifully and does not strip my hair. I was so happy to find this product on Amazon that I bought a number of bars.

Not as lemony as I had hoped. Pieces of lemon (not sure) are imbedded in the soap and are very rough on the skin. I had a chance to use some of this type soap in the Carribean and loved it. Too bad this brand did not live up to the resort soap.

Butterball Bath Bomb by Blissful Bath

I adore this bath bomb. My first and after using it, I will never go back to bubble baths or anything out of a bottle ever again. After soaking in this for an hour, my skin feels SO SOFT just like butter. I don't know what Lush puts in it but trust me, your guy won't be able to keep his hands off of you. And the scent oh my goodness. Just heavenly. If it ever came as a perfume, I would buy it by the bucket. Strangers have sidled up next to me like stalker-close just to smell this scent on me.

We love Dial Nutriskin With Fruit Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Lemon grass. This soap leaves soft skin and smell wonderful. First time we used this soap at my son's house in Canada. We came back to home to find this soap, but we could not fine this soap in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm so happy to find this soap at Amazon!!!!!!!!

Pleasant scent, not as drying as I have found most Dial soaps to be. Clean and fresh. Will buy again!

I purchased this product because I wanted a glycerin soap to moisturize my skin. But the soap dries my skin out. I like the fagrance but I will not be reordering this product.

I tried this type of Dial and much prefer it to Irish Spring or other Dial "creamy" soaps since it seems to rinse off my skin better than the others. It smells nice, not too strong, and has a semi-translucent appearance. It is a shade of green. Recommend!

I was delighted to find Magno Soap through Amazon, and at a good price. My husband loves it and it's not easy to find so the 4 bars I gave him for Christmas were very well received. It's a hard-milled black soap with a subtle fragrance that works equally well for men and women. Nice big bars, too, that last well.

This looks odd (black soap???) but has a soft, subtle smell that stays with you and won't overwhelm the people around you. Hard soap lasts a long time.

Dudu-Osun African Black Soap (6 pack)

This dudu-osun is a very good bar of soap and I usually pay $4 a bar plus my entire family uses it so I normally get it in packs of 24. My teenage son loves it because it keeps his skin clear and even toned. He had very dark acne scars but they have faded so much that you can hardly tell they were ever there not to mentioned his face is probably a shade if not two lighter than before. I have a 10yr old son (who is Albino) and a 9yr old daughter (who has extra dry skin). They both use it with no issue and my hubby who works in a chemical plant loves how clean he feels out of the shower. When anyone is bathing, you will know it, the entire house smells like a very tropical place.

I considered giving it three stars because I can't use this soap, it gives me a burning sensation all over my body and my face is irritated for days afterwards. But since my cheeks, nose & chin have become so smooth in the little time I did, I'd like to give it a 4.5. My pores have practically vanished and I have some acne scarring that's improved significantly. I do use the dudu-oson from time to time on my face knowing that even though I am going to pay for it, my skin will be glowing.

I purchased this soap a few days ago after seeing it modeled by one Adria D., so i decided to try it, and it was the best soap i ever used....It gave me a deep cleansed feeling as well a tingling sensation that got deep into my skin. Considering it was Black Soap, it did not leave any resudes nor stains on my clothes. After 20 minutes of enjoyment I finally rinsed off and put on a white tee shirt, and there was no stains, so that was a great thing. I bought this product after reading the great reviews! I am absolutely ecstatic about this soap. I purchased it with the 100% pure raw african shea butter. I wash my face and body with the soap then slather on some shea butter. My skin was noticeably brighter, smoother, and clearer after the first use! I battle with sensitive, acne prone skin and have tried so many products in the past but the dudu osun and shea butter seem to be the right combination for my skin. Definitely recommend the dudu-osun soap and suggest pairing it with the shea butter!

fyishea butter is non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores or make you break out! Some reviewers complained about stinging after use of the soap but I did not have any irritation! :)

Ok, so it dosen't smell so great, anyway it smalls like the ingredients listed "earthy" not exactly the scent I go for. However, the smell does not linger. I think that this bar is great for anyone looking for something natural. I have trided Dr. Bronners and I hated it, this bar works for hair and body as well.

Essentials Pearberry Soap Fragrance Scent Scent .25 oz.

the amount of liquid in this container will scent a cotton ball! its very watered down scent. I do not recommend this product for any type of 'scenting' other than maybe putting it on a cotton ball and adding the cotton ball to your dresser drawer.. Very disappointed and will not purchase again

This scent smells wonderful! Recently my mom and I took up soap making, and we both love how this smells! It's great, especially for teens.
