I LOVE this soap. Of course I love all of Dr. Bronner's soaps, especially because they are all natural and biodegradeable etc... and they WORK GREAT!!! But this one is particularly good for my skin. The natural antiseptic, germicide, antibacterial, fungicide properties of Tea Tree oil have made my skin so much clearer since I have started using this soap regularly. It lathers really well just like all Dr. Bronner's soaps, so you just need a very little bit. The only downside is that it's not the best smelling of his soaps (if you don't know what tea tree oil smells like I would try it in a small size first) but I don't mind it. If you like the peppermint soap, I would definitely try this one too.

Olivella Face and Body Bar -- 5.29 oz

I have been using this soap for about 2 months now. It is great for all parts of the body, including the face. I am 47 years old and have had acne problems at my age! It has actually helped. When you apply moisturizer after bathing, it really soaks in and leaves your skin so soft. It also doesn't dissapate real fast like other soaps and lasts a long time. The larage bars I have are only half used and I use it every day.

This soap is great!! I have had very dry skin for yrs. but not after using this soap for the past seven mo. It lathers well, smells fresh, gets ur skin super clean n rinses off completely...no residue. Yay!! It moisturizes very well, but doesn't overdo it.

It lasts a long time if put in a place where it can drain...doesn't crack once dry. Definitely worth every penny.

I started using olive oil soap bars a year ago and now I can't live without them. It's really made the skin on my face much softer, especially when used with a moisturizer right after. This brand is a very nice soap and I like it more than the Kiss My Face bars.

It has a very fragrant lavender scent even though there's no mention of any type of fragrance on the webpage or the container it comes in. I like lavender so that's a plus.

It's wonderful to use for shaving. I don't bother using shaving cream or gel anymore. After shaving I apply aftershave/moisturizer and my face becomes like a baby's behind. Seriously, I'll be touching my face all day marveling at how soft it is.

One major negative thing I've noticed about olive oil bars is that they seem to run out of olive oil before they're completely used up. You'll notice this when the bar becomes very easy to lather and is not as greasy. Normally, when you have a new full-sized bar it's a little hard to lather up and feels very oily. Then when there's about 15-20% of the bar left, the greasyness is gone and it soaps up almost immediately. You can tell it doesn't moisturize as well then. I just use it for washing my hands at that point.

Also, make sure to not leave the bar sitting in any water because it will cause the bar to "melt" and get very messy and lose it's shape.

Another bad thing is that olive oil bars are usually more expensive than regular bars. So not only do the moisturizing benefits run out before the bar is totally used up but you have to pay more for it.

Still, your face and skin need all the help they can get while you get older. I think it's worth it for the extra money and you'll definitely notice the difference. Thumbs up for this product!

I bought this for my husband who has dry, scaly skin. I had him use it for a while and I think it's made a difference for him. He used to be really dry and skin flakes would shed off, but now I can tell that his skin looks more moisturized throughout the day. Good product.

I've never been able to decipher what ingredient it is in some soaps that gives me a strange 'surface rash' on my skin ('surface' being that there are raised bumps that scab over but they don't itch and they're not red. Not painful, but not pretty). But, turns out that this soap does this to me. It also has a VERY strong medicinal smell which is a bit too strong for what I'd prefer in a soap and probably part of what causes me to break out. So, QUALIFIER: This soap does not work for me due to my sensitive skin, but may be great for others who do not have this challenge.

Rosemary Mint Glycerin Soap

I have extremely sensitive skin, and I suffer from eczema. Needless to say, it's very difficult for me to find a product that won't dry out my skin or cause a bad flare up. I discovered this soap at Whole Foods, and decided to give it a go. After a few days of use, my skin was soft, moisturized, and problem free. Also, the scent is very nice not too overpowering. I like the scrubbing beads feel of this soap. Kind of like LAVA soap but much more gentle. Consider it a built it loofah sponge. I cannot find this version of Irish Spring in any stores, so that is why I order it on Amazon. Fortunately, my brand of toilet paper is readily available at the local stores, or else I would be ordering my toilet paper on Amazon too. (Much to the chagrin of my wife)

Bought this for my nephew who is all about having cash in his pocket (he's six) and he loved this! I think the day he got it, he washed his hands like 5 times. Also, in addition to being a different type of product, it also smells good.

I'm rating it low because of poor packaging. Considering the nature of the product, it should be packaged better. I bought one of these a while back as a fun small gag gift for my husband. It was a lot of fun, the soap smelled great and seemed to last a long time. Of course, you should only expect a dollar.

I bought another one for a seven year old a couple days ago which arrived this morning. Somewhere in between the seller and it getting to my house, somebody gouged out the money. The soap was slipped back into the box in such a way that it wasn't obvious that someone had gouged a hole in the soap. The packaging is a cheap box. The box made it easy to pull out, steal the money and sneak the destroyed soap back. Luckily, a chip of the soap fell out and I had checked on the soap before gifting it to anyone. Amazon has already processed my refund so I'm not out any money. They offered a replacement but I thought it best to get something else. My fear in this product is that this could easily be a reoccurring problem. It's a hassle to ship something back for a refund. Additionally, I don't want multiple returns on a product like this to create any stigma on my Amazon account. I have better things to do than gouge dollar bills out of soap bars and I don't want my account flagged because someone else is doing this. I'm not sure if they "flag accounts" or not but I don't see any reason in messing with it for this product. What really irritated me is Amazon didn't make any report of this to their distribution center. As far as I know, no report was made to the seller either. If the possibility of this happening doesn't concern you, it really is a unique and fun product.

Aubrey Organics - Natural Baby & Kids Bath Soap, 8 fl oz liquid

Aubrey's Organics Baby Bath Soap is our favorite soap to put in our daughter's bath. It has that powdery fresh baby smell without chemicals and fragrances to make it smell that way. It contains soy protein, aloe vera, herbal extracts, and oils. Our daughter had been having issues with dry skin (probably from using the non-natural bath soap given to us as a gift), but I haven't noticed any dryness since we began using this soap a few weeks ago. It really does make her skin feel soft and smell so clean and yummy!!

I really like this soap, but I find I have to use a lot of the product to cover my adult body (granted, it's marketed as a kid's soap). The product is gently and doesn't dry my sensitive skin if used every other day (daily use did dry my skin). Too bad the product is a bit pricey and I need to use quite a handful of pumps to cover myself in the shower. The fragrance was gentle and not overpowering, although I can see someone who is sensitive to fragrances thinking the added scent a bit much.

This soap did it's job of cleaning baby. However, it seemed to dry out her skin. As an African-American baby, I realize her skin might be more on the dry side, but another product has done a better job of cleaning and moisturizing.

This is a very gentle soap and my son's skin is very soft and healthy. It has a nice scent but is a little too herb scented for my taste. Not bad but I don't love the scent.

I have used Claus Porto hard milled soaps for years and have never found another to compare. I have very sensitive skin and had a difficult time finding anything that would not cause me to become itchy and my skin to become very dry. Then I heard Oprah say this was one of her favorite things. I figured it would not hurt to try it. The cost seems a bit over the top for my budget but I ordered it anyway. Not only did it work it also was cost effective as it lasts forever, right down to a sliver that still lathers and smells wonderful.

Seasons Dulhan Henna Powder

I buy this for $1.99 at Indian grocery. This henna was within date, but approaching the expiration. The addition of alma in this henna mix means that this darkens as well as dyes your hair red. This is nice because lighter brown hair turns more mahogany or copper than orange.

I use this henna to make a strong gloss. I add a tablespoon of lemon to several tablespoons of powder and add conditioner until it becomes a thick yogurt-like consistency. I have tried using this powder without and acid twice, but the color change was too subtle. Now I add lemon and leave the paste in for an hour to add a red tint to my light-medium brown hair. I don't really like the smell of this paste, so adding an essential oil to the mix might be a nice touch. I plan to use lavender oil in the future.

**Remember to always to a test strand before using a new package of henna or using a different vinegar source.

My daughter's mother-in-law sent me two of these soaps...I had never heard of it so I decided to give it a try. I love the soap. It leaves a lasting soft scent on the body all day long. Mysore Sandal soap is, quite simply, the best soap available on the market today. The fact that it is made in a government run factory in India means that it costs a fraction of the price of other quality soaps. Elegant it is not, but what do you expect for less than $3 per bar? I suppose it goes without saying that Sandalwood is, by far, my favoutite aroma. I'm obviously not alone in that.
