H-Mart in Niles, IL sells this for $2.00. I picked one up today. The soap itself lathers up (sodium lauryl sulfate much?) quite a bit, and my skin right after rinsing with water feels much like it does with cheap regular soaps. However, when I dried myself, my skin felt softer than usual. I used body lotion just in case.
It smells soo yummy but very watery. From the picture I thought that 3 came in a package but only received one so that was a bummer. My son likes using it in the tub though and it washes right away.
We use this soap whenever our kids skin is broken out from eczema. It helps keep it clean without aggravating it. A great product and well worth the money.
I can use this product on my body, not my face, without the usual resulting dry skin of most soaps. It smells good, a bit overpowering when first unwrapped, but once it's been used the smell abates to pleasant. The bar itself is pretty with a subtle marbled relief running though it and is designed in a shape well-suited for the average woman's hand...not that men won't like it too, but I can only speak from my own experience.
I've been using this soap for several years and it's a great product. However, I buy the same amount as advertised here for $7 from Mediterranean Deli in Chapel Hill, NC. $50? Someone has something very wrong.
When you buy this, you don't need to worry about running out of soap for a while! Zest soap works well for me. It doesn't have overpowering scents like some other soaps, and the 24-pack shown here is a great deal.

What can you say about Aqua Zest? I've used it since I was a child. I've tried other soaps, but they leave a film on you and the shower. The scent is great, just enough in the shower but it doesn't stay w/ you the rest of the day. This product is getting hard to find in stores for some reason, so I was really happy to find it here, at a great price!
Yes, there are better, smoother, and slightly better shaving soaps out there, but they all cost about 3x's as much. For the money, this is a no brainer...doesn't take much to get a great lather that washes clean, smells great (well I think it does, but that's a matter of personal taste)...told my wife to get the next one in the covered bowl...just for the heck of it...yep, really like it enough that I threw out two other soaps that took more work, didn't washup as clean and cost more $...
I finally found a soap that I can use on my extremely sensitive skin when I was little, I could only use Ivory soap, but as I am over 40 now, it dries my skin. This soap was such a relief! It moisturizes my skin and doesn't cause any irritation at all!! My only complaint it lasts too long!! I like to change scents fairly often, but it last SO DARN LONG that I actually have to take it out of the shower and store it in a ziplock bag so I can switch scents!! I STRONGLY recommend this soap especially if you have sensitive skin.

Dead sea salt is good for the body. This soap smells really good, and does seem to give a massaged feeling to the body after it's use.
I have use Dudu-Osun for years! I always get compliments about my skin being clear, radiant and smooth! This soap helps with acne break out to prevent and to literally erase dark marks on skin from previous acne mark and scars. One thing though is that is will dissolve fast if left in water, to lengthen the life of this NATURAL soap, make sure to put it somewhere where water will not stand near it. I always put it on a soap rack. I recommend the soap for everyone, I have sensitive skin and have not had any problems with it so far. It also helps relieve skin problems due to eczema and other skin problems.

I suffer from a rare skin disease called Granuloma Faciale. It results in red blemishes which I have to have medicine injected into bi-monthly. The only thing that reduces the scars is laser surgery, which we cannot usually afford. I've tried Dead Sea soaps, sulfur soaps, etc. and this soap is the only thing that has reduced the scarification without pricey laser surgery. My personal experience with this soap, after buying and using one full bar, is that it really works. Now, granted this is a lifelong condition that I have, so I will always have to have treatment...but the red spots on my face HAVE subsided since I have been using this soap. But I do concur with other reviews that it does take some patience. I didn't see full results until the bar was dwindling down a bit but the diminishing is noticeable indeed. My second thing that I will say is that it will burn the sensitive skin user for the first week or so, and then your face gets used to it or it is working as an astringent but bare with it. That burn means it is working!! My skin is way better now, and doesn't sting anymore when I use the soap and I love the results on red spots and scars. I wanted to see results before I came on here and praised a soap. I love the idea of using mystical elements from the Dead Sea...but honestly, I didn't see any change in my skin. With the Dudu soap (yes, I call it doo-doo soap ha ha)I definitely see results. I will be purchasing the bigger packs from now on. If you are looking to just try the single bar do so! Great soap, great scent. People, this soap is for everyone, not just black people (do you know how incredibly ignorant that sounds?! I wish people would research stuff before they perpetuate this kind of nonsense.) It is called "black" soap because there are plant ashes in the soap, giving it it's dark appearance. It is made from leaves and bark of various trees and plants that are burned in a kettle or vat. The leaves are from banana trees, plantain skins, leaves and bark, palm tree leaves, cocoa pods, shea tree bark, etc. The ashes from the leaves are then mixed with water and then filtered. Oils such as shea butter, coconut oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil, and cocoa butter are added to this water to create the soap.
I'm returning this year to buy a few more Pre de Provence soaps for Christmas gifts. Soaps aren't normally something I'd get too excited about. However, I used a couple myself and have been hearing back from some of last year's recipients. They went crazy over them, and if you're on the edge about spending $5 or 10 on a bar of soap, I understand. Yet here I am to buy two or three more.

I really look forward to showering with this soap. The aroma is amazing!! It smells like fresh cut pineapple. I simply close my eyes and inhale! I've been using the bar for almost 3 weeks and the fragrance has stayed the same. It is also a long-lasting soap as the bar has pretty much maintained its same size. I've tried a few of these soaps and I really love them all, but so far THIS one is the best by a long shot. The smell is nice and strong but not annoyingly strong... beautifully strong. It stays in the room and keeps the bathroom smelling very nice throughout the day... and the next day... and so on. I love it! It lathers up so nicely that I wanted to stay in the shower forever. Get it, you'll love it.
I originally came across this product at the resort we stay at and had to buy some. Thanks to the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for stocking the rooms with this (smaller version) great soap. I find this help to reduce an breakouts on my face and will be a longtime customer.
I encountered the Papoutsanis "marine"-scented soap at a small health-food store several years ago. I bought one bar and have been using it ever since. Well, not the SAME bar. You know what I mean. I like the scent, which is not overbearing and doesn't trigger my allergies, and the soap does a good job of cleaning.
I love these soaps and buy them often. The green tea is one of my favorites because it is light and not too sweet, but it fills the bathroom with its peaceful scent. It lasts a long time, too.

Great soap! Lathers very well with thick, rich bubbles. Takes a little rinsing to remove the bubbles, but it's well worth. Doesn't dry me out.
I was a bit skeptical at first about the quality of these soaps; I think they're popular in Malaysia and in other countries within that region of the world. I figured they can't be any better than the Palmolive bar soaps at the local Pathmark or ShopRite. I was proven wrong and was very pleased with my purchase. When I made the lather, the bar felt really smooth and it has this wonderful baby powder-like scent--the combination of milk and pearl powder really works well together. I think it makes my skin a little bit smoother. I've just finished my first bar, and I have to say, the quality of the soap was very consistent all the way to the end. The only con is that the bars are a little smaller than I expected them to be. Overall a good purchase, definitely worth trying if you've never used it before.
I melt like butter when enveloped in the fragrance of real sandalwood. It has been my favorite fragrance since I was a young woman in her early twenties in San Francisco, where I could buy my favorite Bee and Flower sandalwood soap in Chinatown for mere pennies a bar.

Mysore Sandal soap is, quite simply, the best soap available on the market today. The fact that it is made in a government run factory in India means that it costs a fraction of the price of other quality soaps. Elegant it is not, but what do you expect for less than $3 per bar? I suppose it goes without saying that Sandalwood is, by far, my favoutite aroma. I'm obviously not alone in that. Several people who have come to our house after I have taken a shower have asked what was the source of the marvellous smell. Mysore Sandal Soap.!
This soap feels nice, lathers well, is easy on the skin. Based upon other reviews, the smell should have been good too. Unfortunately, it is not. It smells like the inside of a barroom mop bucket. They should clean house in their olfactory division. Just don't clean it with this stuff. Apparently, I've got the new version, made in India with artificial modern noxious-smelling ingredients. Wish I hadn't gone the economy route and purchased so many of the damn things. I'm afraid to throw them out and create a new Love Canal. Apparently, plans are in the works to change the scent, but nothing else. It's too bad they ruined a 200-yr old brand.

I ordered this PEARS soap because I have always loved the smell more than anything. I've used this soap for like 30 years. When it came and I opened it and used it, the smell was not the usual, but way more like a bad chemical smell. Apparently, the PEARS company was sold to another and the same old soap with the wonderful smell is no longer in production. So sad.
