I was very disappointed with this product. The info stated that it should be diluted because it is so concentrated. It is like water and to even tell that there is soap, I have to use tons of the liquid. I am allergic to scented soaps and use only unscented. I was hoping that this one would be acceptable, but I was dissappointed.

I really like this soap. It is very watery, but it gets the job done and the bottle lasts a good while. The bottle says it is unscented, but it does have a scent when you are using it. It is almost like dry oatmeal, but after you are out of the shower there is no scent.

Earthline Sisal Soap Sack Medium 491 Natural Bodycare Essentials

I wanted something that was exfoliating, saved all the bits and pieces from my soap and traveled well. This doesn't do any one those well.

For a start, it sheds with use. I've only used it a few times and every time some of the natural fibers fall out and are left on my skin.

For exfoliating purposes, I've used much better products. Using this is likes rubbing a soggy mini sack made of coarse, woven rope on your skin. Unpleasant.

Travel-wise, this isn't ideal. It takes forever to dry and the drawstring/rope must be purely decorative because it doesn't cinch up the sack to hold the soap in. The material is just too thick and bulky. This non-drying attribute will probably make this unsanitary over time.

Until I figure out a better use or throw it away, this is keeping my soap from sliding off the ledge in the shower for now. Some people like it, but it's not for me.

Very thin mesh. Thought this would be a more earth friendly replacement for the nylon mesh soap savers, but the product just doesn't work very well.

Mario Badescu A.H.A. Botanical Body Soap

I am BANANAS about this cleanser. It exfoliates gently and has helped solve a myriad of problems for me: back and chest breakouts, ingrown hairs, those weird upper arm bumps. (I know, I'm a lucky girl.) But this cleanser makes it so you'd never know how awful my skin really is. I use it with a loofah, and I follow it with an AHA body moisturizer, and it has made a humungo difference. The smell of it to me is fresh and unisex. Not too girly, so the Mr. can use it, too. And it's loads cheaper than other brands I've tried. I'm a lifer!!!

Also, not tested on animals. That's cool.

I discovered the Mario Badescu line almost a year ago and I love all of their products with this being no exception. I have keratosis pilaris, which causes a red, acne like rash on my arms and thighs. I recently have gotten it under control w Ahava, coconut oil and now Mario Badescu. My skin was almost clear but would flair up. This soap has fixed that. I now enjoy smooth skin, always. This soap is very thin but lathers very well. It has a mild fruity smell similar to the Enzyme Gel Cleanser, which I use on my face. It leaves me feeling squeaky clean and extremely soft. My tiny bumps were smoothed instantly. After 3 days of use my skin felt incredible. I do follow up w coconut oil as a moisturizer and I use the Ahava mud wrap weekly. I haven't touched my Ahava bar soap since purchasing this. This has become my new go to cleanser. I even noticed my husband caressing my thighs more. =D This makes this product a win for me. I use a small amount on my washcloth and expect the bottle to last, at least 2 weeks w daily use. My skin has never felt better.

I love this AHA Botanical Body Soap and it'll be one of my essentials from now on. First off, it smells so good--it's a light, fruity kind of grapefruit scent, subtle enough to be unisex. My search for the perfect soap is completely over! Kirks Original Castile Soap is the best you can buy! I truly do not care for wacky body soaps with scents. They never seem to get your skin clean.

Several friends kept telling me that this was the best however no one around here sells it so I was never able to try it. I just happened upon it in Cracker Barrel and picked up a bar.

Oh my! The lather was unbelievable! The scent was clean and not overpowering! My skin felt nourished and clean! I even washed my hair with it and it left a clean shine to my hair. It was an answer to a prayer years in the making from a search for the perfect soap. No more will I buy anything else!

If you buy this by the case unwrap each bar and store them in you linen closet. The longer soap sits out to "dry" the longer it lasts. Most soap is milled and used too quickly to properly dry. It will make your closet smell fresh plus the soap will properly dry and cure. Dry soap will last several more months than soap that is not dry.

Do yourself a favor and start using this soap! Some people even make their laundry soap with Kirks Original Castile Soap.

I have been using this soap for many years now and really like it. It doesn't have the usual (artificial) fragrances that you find in most soaps, is very mild, and neither my spouse or myself have found it to be very drying to the skin. Compared to most organic and animal-friendly (as in not tested on them) soap bars, it's also very reasonably priced. I have been able to find it in my local grocery store, though, and pay a lot less than anywhere on the internet ($0.79 per bar at Kroger). It's worth looking around a little but if you can't find it, this is probably the next best price that I've seen.

Camp Soap

I bought a small quantity of this product to try it out and am glad I didn't buy more. Shipping, etc. were fine and the product came in a baggy so it wouldn't leak which was nice. When I tried to use this concentrate I found that I needed much more than I should have to do a simple task. It did not seem to work well as either a body wash or for washing pans as it didn't remove oil/grease. I haven't tried it as a clothes wash, but suspect it will perform poorly.

It's soap and it does what soap does! It does have a light scent, but nothing bad. Used on cutlery and skin alike, I didn't have any problems. Worked for cleaning what I needed without any leftover residue.

This soap is everything I have come to expect from Dr. Bronner's. The quality of the soap itself is high, it smells wonderful, and it is gentle to my hands. Not only that, but the bar of soap sitting in the bathroom soap dish makes the room smell like roses.

Since I ordered the pack of 6, I decided to find a use for the other 5 bars. The still-packaged bars went in some of my clothing drawers for storage. Sure enough, they made my clothes smell like roses too.

Just picked up a bar of the rose scent today and find that I LOVE this scent! I wish this was available in liquid form so I could use it on my hair, too. I've had to use peppermint which is better than some the other scents but the potency can be a bit overwhelming at times. Almond smells nice, but since I have so many allergies, I wasn't sure if I'd be allergic to it. It washes extremely well so Dr. Bronner's soaps can be drying...I just make sure I use an organic body cream immediately afterwards.

I bought this soap back in November of 2008, and I've still got a couple of bars left. I opened my pantry yesterday and it smells so good in there from the soap, LOL. And it reminded me that I need to review this item, as well as a couple of other things I've neglected to review yet.

This was my first purchase of Dr Bronner's anything. This soap doesn't dry your skin out. But it still gets a body clean. My skin did seem somewhat softer after using the soap for a couple of weeks. Maybe not quite as dry as it was. Not any dramatic improvement, just an improvement.

I have no complaints to make.

The soap smells really good, and it lathers well. My daughter likes the rose scent, that's why I got it.

I'd like to try out the tea tree oil soap next.

Don't leave it sitting in water though, it dissolves fast if you do that. Put it in a dry soap dish after use.

Oh. and my grand daughter can use it with no problems. She has very sensitive skin, and prior to this we were using Ivory. So It's seems to be good for folks who have allergies and sensitive skin.

It's hard to find anything else to say about soap. Heh.

But I do like this soap better than the stuff I buy off the shelf at the grocery store. It's doesn't seem to be as harsh.

This deordorant bar actually does work, but you MUST apply it to very newly clean skin. I keep my bar in the shower with me. There are no sharp edges that "cut" you...its as smooth as a bar of soap...but if youve recently shaved there might be a little stinging...nothing terrible. Ive also disovered that after Ive applied the salt bar and let it dry, applying a thin layer of extra virgin coconut oil keeps the results lasting through the day.

The bar I received is about the size of a traditional plastic container of deodorant (see pictures I uploaded). It's a smooth oval cylinder with slightly rounded ends.

I have found that it works remarkable well as a deodorant (note that salt doesn't work as an antiperspirant, it just controls odor by preventing bacterial growth). To apply, just slowly rub it across clean skin a few times. Avoid rubbing quickly or with a lot of pressure to prevent irritation.

This seller is selling an item that is meant to be used on rough skin, as a deodorant bar, I assume to try to use a product in a second way. This product was never meant to be used as a deodorant bar. It causes small cuts on your armpit, which then fill in with salt. It's quite painful. You should purchase a product that was meant to be used as deodorant. A salt block meant for deodorant is solid salt crystal, and will not cut your underarm up, or cause pain.

I bought a Salt Block 2"x 2" square of wonderful clear Salt,smooth edges and smooth all over. Or was until I dropped it on my counter and chipped off a small corner. NO Problem...still using this small block. Yes I especially use it just after shaving the pits...as I dry off and dry the pits I wet the salt block under a dribble of water and apply it to the pits. I used it for about 2 weeks and I then proceeded to ON PURPOSE NOT to take a shower for 3 days. I applied it only that first day after my shower and shave. During that time I worked outside in the yard and garden working up a really great sweat. Temp here was in the 90's....Remember this was a test. Each day I sniffed the pits, and no odor...I thought this was some kind of magic stuff. Evening of Day 3 Hubby and I got into bed. I jumped over to him and put my pit right in his face and told him to take a deep breath....HE MINDS REALLY WELL TOO... He did and I said "Smell anything? I haven't showered in 3 days!!!"....well the look on his face was just priceless. He said No no smell...then yelled "You haven't showered for 3 days?"....Well then I told him of the new Salt Block I got, and how he just confirmed that it worked. He just shook his head as if I had lost my mind....

I bought this because the info about the Men/Women in several other high Mountainous Countries found this to be the only thing that would keep the odor away. They don't have Old Spice in these countries. The Salt Block stops the bacteria growth under the arms and that is what causes the odor. Men with hairy armpits...I thought "Really..and this worked?"...So I tried it.And Yes it works.

Give the Salt Block at least a couple weeks of daily using (clean and dry the pits, give it the fair shake) so your body gets used to it too. Remember, this is not an anti-perspirant. You will still sweat. This also won't clog your underarm pores with chemical junk. I used to get little bumps under my pits from deodorant/anti-perspirant, I don't anymore. I love my Salt Block.

Dove White Beauty Bar, 75 Gram (Pack of 36)
