Indigo Wild: Zum Bar Goat's Milk Soap, Cedar 3 oz (3 pack)
I didn't know what the cedar would smell like when I ordered this, but I was pleasantly surprised! It smells great! It smells exactly like cloves, very spicy smell. As with all Zum soaps, this is moisturizing and lathers well.

This is a mildly-abrasive bar with bits of grit in it. The best feature is the fragrance! After I tried the soap. I also purchased a lotion with the cranberry & pomegranate scent. I wish Burt's Bees would make more products with this fragrance. The soap lathers and lasts well, and the scent doesn't fade with use.

Dove Men + Care Body and Face Bar, 8 Count (4 Oz bars)
Got this body wash for my husband...it really smells great. He's happy using it thusfar. I was hoping it would help him clear up blemishes/acne on his upper back since it's a deep clean but the results in that aspect have been dismal. Minimal disappearance of blemishes. I'd say maybe 10% overall? It works great on his face though! Just not on his back. He's not giving the dove up because it does have positve qualities and like I said, it smells fantastic, but I went on a search to find another wash to help out with his back. In doing so I found a natural wash based of tea tree oilHerbal Authority Tea Tree Oil Skin Wash + FREE 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil. It doesn't smell great like the Dove, but it's doing wonders for his skin. His back is about 50-75% cleared up and he's having less and less breakouts as time has passed. It's been about 3 months. No way will he give up the Dove, especially because it's much more gentle and less drying on the face, but the tea tree oil wash is here to stay too!

I've used a bunch of soaps over the years as brands have created and dropped soaps (no pun intended) and I've been using this one for about a year now hoping the don't drop this soap as I like it so much. Its problem is what the manufacturer calls "purifying grains." It's not quite like rubbing sandpaper over your boby but it by no means is smooth. The fragrance last a very long time and the soap is very smooth. It doesn't dry my skin (thanks to the Shea Butter) like other soaps. I love anything french...so I had to try this soap and once I used it I realized "why" I love everything french......It made the box it came in smell nice...the UPS guy must loved it in his truck..
Like other reviews say it, it does smell wonderfully and it makes my hands feel very soft. It is soothing (I got it at the end of a friday, trust me it did effect me in a nice way after a long week) I now have the liquid soap and the bar soap. They also looked nice enough to leave them in the powder room for guests.

I was entranced with the film and very much wanted something from Lourdes so I was delighted to find this soap made with water from the grotto at Lourdes. The soap has a very delicate rose scent and lathers well.
Just used it for the first time and my skin feels soft and clean.This product is easy on my skin though it is a bit pricey. The rose sent is one of my favorites.Ordered these soaps for friends struggling with serious illness. I like the lavender scent much better than the rose. This is personal preference but I find the rose scent too heavy for my taste. So happy these soaps are available. If you love a rose scent, these may be just what you want.

Alphabet Handcrafted Glycerin Kids Soap, Made in USA
A letter broke as I opened the package and they all seemed a little sticky. Some of the letters were good quality like the M, but strangely the W, which you think would be the same, was really much thinner. The colors are great. The container is flimsy and fell apart right away. The smell is nice but not overpowering. I do not recommend though, especially at this price, although at six bucks or so, might be worthwhile.

I must say that with most bar soaps for me there comes drying of my skin. However, this soap delivers and feels so natural and non-irritating to my skin. I've been using it daily and it has no adverse effects on my sensitive skin. The bars last a good amount of time for a two shower per day kinda girl like myself! Can't wait to try other scents from Nature's Gate bar soaps. This scent has a truly nice subtle herbal fragrance, not too overbearing at all.
Dudu-Osun Black Soap - 150g (12 Packs)
This is a great product for anyone who suffers from skin ailments or just enjoys having moisturized skin.It's natural so the long term affects may take longer to see than the average technology infused items on today's market.I have a few family members that suffer with skin ailments and it works wonderfully for them. Though I don't have any skin allergies or conditions, I appreciate the moisture and rejuvenated look it gives my skin. I prefer to use it as a facial cleanser.
Whatever you do, DON'T use with white or light colored wash clothes, it stains the fabric and leaves a dingy unclean look (even with Clorox). It doesn't affect tile or basins color wise but if not rinsed properly, you may have a slippery surface.
I'm always looking for a good deal on worthy products and I have yet to find a seller to give more for the dollar. Ounce for ounce it is better to buy in bulk than individually.
HOWEVER, after using what appears to be a newer formula for a couple of weeks, I see this soap is comparable to the original we have used for years (if not better). It appears that the newer soap received from this listing has more Shea butter compared to the older version. Shea butter is a good thing, so we don't mind at all. As a result, the smell is a little milder and more fragrant, and the lather is not the deep, dark violet color like the older soap, which is good because it used to stain our shower tile and grout. This newer version still does eventually leave a burgundy/brown colored lather, but not nearly as intense as the older version.
Overall, this new formula (compared to the one we purchased 6+ years ago) works equally as well, if not better. After a couple of weeks, I can really notice the results and my skin actually feels smoother, cleaner, and tighter (if that makes any sense), than when I used the older formula. Both appeared the same as far as the packaging, etc., but this is a new formula. It appears slightly milder at first, but it works just as well, if not better. The exfoliating properties are also still there, but unlike the older one, you have to use the soap for a 2-3 days for the (roughness) to come out.
The only thing that cured my acne before I discovered Dudu-Osun were AcneFree three step system (very costly and time consuming) or Cetaphyl Antibacterial soap (harsh chemicals and twice as much cost as Dudu-Osun. Dudu-Osun works MUCH better than either of these products, is simple to use, and is very inexpensive when purchased on Amazon. Most importantly (to me) it is 100% natural, and it not only improved my acne, but made my 37 year old facial skin as great as my 2 year old daughter's facial skin. You can't beat this product at any price, so at this price, how can you go wrong???

Great soap, great scent. People, this soap is for everyone, not just black people (do you know how incredibly ignorant that sounds?! I wish people would research stuff before they perpetuate this kind of nonsense.) It is called "black" soap because there are plant ashes in the soap, giving it it's dark appearance. It is made from leaves and bark of various trees and plants that are burned in a kettle or vat. The leaves are from banana trees, plantain skins, leaves and bark, palm tree leaves, cocoa pods, shea tree bark, etc. The ashes from the leaves are then mixed with water and then filtered. This soap is a blessing! I have been battling acne (a 34 year old African American Woman with severe acne and hyper pigmentation). I bought this after reading many reviews on the product. I got a great deal buying in bulk here on Amazon but the soap does not last long. I go through a bar a week but that's okay because I love this stuff! I use the soap in the morning and night all over my whole body. I don't finding it drying because I follow up the use with Nutiva Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. The soap has a wonderful smell and does a great job cleansing my face and body. After my shower I feel squeaky clean with no residue or film like other soaps of the past. I also use it as a facial scrub once a week by taking a small piece of the soap and dipping it into sugar for an exfoliating sugar scrub. Please, let me tell you, this soap in conjunction with my regimen of moisturizer (coconut oil) and fair and white bleaching creme, I have almost got rid of all of my dark marks. I no longer get the cystic acne I was getting just an occiasional very small pimple here and there which is gone the next day. My skin loves this soap. I used to also get a very itchy back from my old soap and now I don't. I will use this soap forever!
