This soap smells great I haven't actually used any, I put it in my linen closet instead of my usual sachet.
Caswell-Massey Sandalwood Woodgrain Soap
I am a woman and I love using this soap. It smells great. It smells warm and spicy, not flowery. The soap is harder than many cheaper kinds of soap. I make my own soap which is much better than most commercial soaps, but this soap is even better than my handmade soaps. The only negative thing I can think of about this soap (the woodgrain bar) is that it will permanently stain light-colored or white washcloths. I never liked sandalwood scented products until I bought this soap, but I LOVE this one. The rest of the C-M sandalwood line is also wonderful, especially the lotion and the talc.
This is the larger size which is referred to as the bath soap. It is darker and has a wood grain appearance. The bath bars are larger and weigh 5.8 oz. They also carry a smaller size hand soap. It is light tan and comes in the 3.25 oz (92 g) size. I have used the hand soap as bath soap and cannot tell the difference--the scent and soap quality is the same.

Caswell-Massey is my new source for bathroom products from shower and shave to lotion and cologne. The sandalwood soap smells wonderful without being overpowering or girly. These large bars last me close to 4 weeks with daily showering and do not melt away like drug store soap bars do. I find it a better and cheaper alternative.I alternate with the newport depending on my mood and follow with the shampoo, shave soap, shave oil, body lotion, and cologne for an all over, masculine, yet subdued fragrance that I enjoy without imposing on others. It leaves my bathroom smelling manly after a shower & shave without "perfuming" the bathroom permanently.
I get complements from my kids when they hug me or snuggle up that I, "smell good." I remember how my dad smelled when I was a kid and take pride in passing on those staple childhood memories to my children.

I've been using Pre de Provence products for the last several years, including their hand creams, liquid soaps, and the wonderful bar soap. My particular favorite is the Argumes scented bar a refreshing, citrus blend, mostly grapefruit. It feels like a splurge every morning to shower with this luxurious and super moisturizing bar, which is imported from France. While it is very moisturizing, it is also surprisingly long lasting, and it makes me feel a little special. The Argumes scent actually is a wake-up, and is a great start to my day.

This soap is amazing it cleared up all my body acne and isn't drying at all. It irritated my face so bad that I broke out in blisters around my mouth so I reduced the washing to nighttime for only taking off my makeup. I still have so much left of it. Defense Body Soap
Works good. I wrestle constantly and was getting ringworm like clockwork and the doctor suggested this. After i got cleared up, I used the soap after practices and it seemed to keep my clear (for about 2 weeks).Last week i got another small patch of ringworm. Hence, only 4 stars, since the whole point of the soap is to prevent any more infections. However, now I'm using it everyday, rather than only after practice.
With medication and soap, the ringworm does seem to be going away much faster than it had before.
What's odd about it is that it doesn't stink when you first open it. It's when you USE it that it begins emitting an odor the likes of which words cannot do justice. It got banished to the basement inside two zipping plastic bags until garbage day and then went outside never to be seen again.
If you don't mind the smell or if you like it, then I'm sure this will be great soap for you. From all of our research this is great stuff that really does a good job protecting your skin. It's also all natural, which is always a plus.

I love this soap it has a beautiful neutral and natural smell, Leans more toward the menthol minty smell. YUMMY! If you like pineapple, this scent will make your mouth water! I could smell it the second I tore open the mailer. It is a large bar and the lather is quite indulgent. It was very refreshing (left a slight tub ring, but no problem!) For those with sensitive skin, I can't speak for everybody of course, but I have extremely fair, sensitive skin and this soap did not bother it a bit. I am still marvelling that I can smell it from the hallway! Yummy soap and a sweet and fruity bathroom freshener. What more can you ask?

This is a great mud soap. It goes on easily, and cleans purely. I've only used it on my face, and always loved how my skin felt after using it. What's to say about Dial except that it is a good deodorant soap that does its job, doesn't irritate the skin and has an effective deodorant too. That last matters a lot to me, as I seem always to be rushed, and on the go.What I don't like about some of the soaps nowadays, that Dial has fallen prey to also, is the paring away of the bar, supposedly to give me a better grip, while either keeping the price the same, or raising it. It is STILL a means of giving me less for more, and it's an unpleasant tactic of modern business that lowers my opinion of their dependability. It has not with Dial as yet, mainly because this is an old favorite that still gives me what I buy it for, but if that changes my own respect for the company willl change, too.
