Dr. Woods Drwood Castile Lav Soap 32.00 OZ ( Multi-Pack)

Love this soap! Use it for hands (diluted 50:50 with water in a foam pump), face, body. Haven't tried hair yet but bet it will be great! The smell is amazing, not overly floral, in fact my husband likes the smell of it and uses it in his shower and he would never use anything that smelled girly!!! I have acne prone skin with lots of black heads and now it is clear, soft and radient!! I bought the baby formula as well because I am expecting soon, but I see no reason I couldn't just buy the lavender and use it on the baby I don't think it will be irritating at all. Can't wait to try on hair and in laundry!

This soap smells nice. I use it in the shower for body and hair washing. On the sink for hand soap. Haven't tried it yet on laundry because we have a high efficiency washer, but it is low sudsing, so it might be okay. It also cleans the faucet without leaving water marks, probably because of the olive oil base. I tried it to help reduce the chemicals that I wash down the drain each day into our water system. I highly recommend it.

Rosemary Mint Glycerin Soap

I have extremely sensitive skin, and I suffer from eczema. Needless to say, it's very difficult for me to find a product that won't dry out my skin or cause a bad flare up. I didn't originally go looking for African Black Soap. I just happened upon this brand at a beauty supply store a few years ago. They really give a rich lather, have Shea butter and cocoa butter, and these dense bars last a very long time. You'll love how you smell, and so will everyone else. Also leaves your bathroom smelling nice after the shower!

Bought this to make soap with the lady on Valentines day. Used ginger, orange, sage, and rosemary. Melted fast and set quickly. Washes great and smells fantastic! Also bonus points from the gal for being "romantic"! win win!

Melts easily but has a decidedly chemical smell that doesn't go away after heating and adding scents to it. If you are buying this to add your own scents to it, try another brand. If you are just trying to make cute shaped soaps in a mold then it's probably ok for you.

Dr. Jacobs Organics Citrus Castile Soap 32oz

I have sensitive skin. I bought the Sweet Tea Tree Oil 32 oz. at T J Maxx for 7 bucks and use it daily in the shower. A little goes a long way...I mean a very little lathers up alot, at first use carefully pump out an aspirin size drop into your hands or a wash cloth. My skin feels great afterward. I do not doubt it would work well as a laundry detergent,but unless you are desperate it seems pretty expensive for that use; I stay with the "free of dyes and fragrance" laundry detergent brands. Knowing now how far 32 oz will take me, I would buy this for 18 unless I found a similar product cheaper.

I've been switching all our cosmetics and cleaning supplies over to phthalate free, paraben free, unidentified fragrance free options. Not only is this a complicated process it is an expensive one too. After quite a bit of research and comparing soaps at the health food store I finally settled on Dr Bonner's soaps as being the most trustworthy and the safest for my family. Things I love about this bar soap :

I've tried the Almond and the Rose soaps so far. I very much prefer the Almond since the rose was a bit more astringent. I find that this soap is not at all drying to the skin and gentle enough to use on the face.

While the price may seem steep I have not found it cheaper anywhere else and this bar soap lasts about 3 times as long as our bars of Dove used to.

The price I am referring to is $22 for a pack of 6 (with free shipping over orders of $25) at the time of this review. If that has changed it may not be so good a deal any more. . . . There are many independent sellers who sell at higher prices on the Amazon website so this does make things even more complicated!

I have been using these bars for about 6 months and I LOVE them! I even got my mom hooked on them! A small amount suds up your entire body, and the bars seriously last forever. At the rate I'm at, I probably use 3-4 the entire year! The scent is light and not at all overpowering, and it cleans just as well as any other soap bar, if not better.

I don't use the bar on my face because it would probably dry out my sensitive face skin, but I used this bar everywhere else, even on my fresh tattoo because it contains nothing that would irritate a tattoo and I knew that no harsh chemicals were being absorbed by my body. It also feels good knowing you are supporting an all-organic company that actually cares about its consumers and its workers, unlike other store-bought soaps that put dangerous chemicals in their products because they only want your money.

I would recommend these soap bars to everyone, and I will probably never use anything else besides Dr. Bronner's!

Old Spice Fresh Collection Fiji Scent Bar Soap Twin Pack 8 Oz

I love the Fiji deodorant, was very excited when I saw these bar soap packs.

Unfortunately, the soap doesn't deliver. They need to put more Fiji scent into the product. Forget about the scent lasting through a few hours, you can barely smell it in and immediately after showering.

Won't buy again until they come out with new formulation with more scent, that lasts at least a few hours.

On the other hand, the soap is made for men. Has a nice shape that fits in your hand perfectly. It also washes off quickly without that residue feeling. But I can anticipate this soap will dry my skin out in the winter. So I'll only be using it in the summertime and after the gym for now.

This is one of the nicer Old Spice products if you use bar-type soap. Actually, nearly all of the Old Spice brand items are very good quality and a reasonable value. The bar had a very slim profile, making it hard to hold on to especially after it had worn down a bit. Overall a good product for the money.

I started using Basis when I was 12 and I've been using Basis soap ever since. My skin makes me look 10 years younger than 65. Mountain Ocean Skin Trip Soap, Coconut , 4.5-Ounces (Pack of 4)

I love this soap. I have very dry skin, and most soaps don't help with that. Even non-drying soap, while not adding to the dryness, also don't help. This one does. And the skin benefits of coconut oil are well documented. So I lather it up and use it on my hair, too. The only problem I have with the bar is that it doesn't last long. But then I love it so much I use it constantly, so it may be me rather than the product.

Update: I think I figured out why the bars don't last long they are under-cured. What I do is order a bunch at a time, take them all out of the plastic, and let them air cure for at least 4 weeks before use. They last much longer.

I have been using Skin Trip products since the mid 1980's. The quality has never waivered. This soap has a lovely feel and smell. It has become the only soap I use.
