When I received this in the mail, the first thing I noticed is that I could smell it through the package. Before I even opened the package that the UPS delivery man gave to me, I could smell the soap. It was in a manilla envelope lined with bubble wrap. The box of soap was well in tact, and the soap is hermetically sealed inside of the box, so I was really impressed that I could smell the soap through the packaging. The soap looks exactly like the picture, has a strong aroma that doesn't smell bad; it just smells like something healthy. The good thing about it is that when I showered with it immediately after opening it, the odor did not remain on my skin. I felt "squeaky clean" after using it, and my skin was soft, and moisturized. I LOVE this soap, I have allergies to a lot of soaps that claim to be hypoallergenic! But I decided to try thissoap, I can't sing it's praises enough. It's so AWESOME, there's no drying/tightness or itching afterwards. I plan on ordering a few more bars! God bless!

my review is going to be on the lavender castile soap from dr bronners. It has a nice smell a little strong when in bottle but has a pleasant smell when water down just so you know it smell like real lavender not the fake fragrance oil kind .This product is all natural,organic,non toxic,eco friendly n has so many uses.I make my own homemade cleaners n i use this as one of the ingredients. lavender is also a natural antibacterial.If ur going to buy this product theres one very important thing u need to keep in mind the soap is very pure(for lack of a better word)what i mean is you have to water it down trust me alot goes a long way. one more thing you should know is that in most bodywash,shampoo,detergents ,handsoap,they put chemicals,synthics to make it lather to make you think the more lather the more cleaner you are which is not true so dont expect to get a rich thick lather with dr bronners but it does have a light lather.Want Organic Castile Liquid Soap Lavender - 8 oz,(Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps) Discount?

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for myself from Neiman Marcus ($15)and it's been a delight. Lovely, gentle rose fragrance packaged in a soap that lasts, that goes on smoothly and lathers well. It makes bathing a pleasure. Birthday gifted a friend with a bar of a different fragrance--Lime Basil & Mandarin Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin Bath Soap 100g/3.5oz--which even her husband likes to use. Now want to try Malone's other products, but one has to search carefully for the prices vary widely across the web and some ship freely.
Canus Goat's Milk Fragrance Free Bar Soap, Five-Ounce Bars in 3-Count Boxes (Pack of 4)
My wife found this Canus Goat's Milk Fragrance Free Bar Soap while she was visiting her relatives up in Seattle, WA. It was in a drug store for almost $1.99/bar. We can't find it locally, so I looked here on Amazon. Amazingly, it's an Amazon Prime item and is currently selling for a total price of $1.44/bar (much cheaper than store bought). We've been using it for several weeks now and love it. There's no artificial fragrance and it looks and feels just like "normal" soap. It does have a slight smell of (I think) glycerin and salt. The only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that my wife thinks her skin is slightly drier than when we were using a normal moisturizing soap. I don't notice any difference. According to the label, the ingredients (and my best shot at what they're for) are:Sodium Tallowate (cleansing)
Sodium Cocoate and/or Sodium Palm Kernelate (cleansing)
Water
Fresh Goat's Milk (moisturizing)
Glycerin (moisturizing)
Titanium Dioxide (white pigment)
Sodium Chloride
Tetrasodium EDTA (water softener?)
DMDM Hydantoin (preservative)
From my understanding of soap making, the Sodium Tallowate, Sodium Cocoate, Sodium Palm Kernelate (all fats), and Sodium Chloride (salt) ARE soap. Though not entirely free of other things, the remaining ingredients seem reasonable and this soap is a possibility for those with chemical sensitivities (they'll have to test it for themselves, though).
Overall, I rate this at a Very Good four stars out of five. Highly recommended.

During the winter my skin gets dry and itchy. This soap helps curb the dryness that causes the itchiness. It's a mild soap and free of fragrance so can be good for someone with sensitive skin. I find showering with it rather soothing. I would prefer that it had no animal ingredients at all but even the sodium tallowate, a common soap ingredient, originates from animal fat. The thing is that the goat's milk is what makes it soothing and moisturizing. If you have a problem with pores clogging, this soap may not be for you. It's the reason I don't use this soap on my face.I have very sensitive skin, every time I use soap to wash my face I break out in pimples, I was searching for a product that would help keep my skin smooth & pimple free, someone recommended goat's milk soap. So after searching I found Canus Goats Milk Fragrance Free Soap, I have been using this product for about 3 weeks now and it is working wonders on not just my face but my whole body! It leaves my skin smooth & moisturized it also doesn't dry out my skin + my pimples are beginning to fade. I have stopped using Clearasil & other skin products & will continue to use this product instead.I definitely recommend this soap for people who suffer with sensitive skin.Great soap. Leaves your skin so soft. Great amazon price--in my local supermarket the price is $2.00 a bar. Gave a bar to a co-worker now it's the only soap she uses.

I have been burning camphor for puja since 1977. This is by far the best and most energetically powerful I have ever used. I am American , but I have lived in India. These days I do five or six pujas per day.While more expensive than other camphor on the market, this is so much better. It comes in a nice container with 64 good sized tablets, I usually break in two. This is PURE Indian camphor, NOT Chinese.

I am a soldier serving in Iraq, where as you may know, it gets pretty hot here. After a full day out in the desert sun in all of my gear, I find myself dreaming of the moment when I can get in the shower and cool off with Dr. Bronner's soap. It works great. Lathers great, and leaves me feeling cleaner than chemical soaps, not to mention the fact that it feels very cool and tingly. Although I am military, which may go against what Dr. Bronner's philosophy suggests, I am a country boy who loves the outdoors, and the conservation and protection of our environment. I will always choose products made in America so as to support the businesses of my fellow Americans, and will always choose organic items over those items which use ingredients that I can't pronounce, or in which animals are senselessly wasted.I suggest you use this product for all the right reasons.

It comes in funky orange packaging, has a strong medicinal smell, but man ..it's the best soap I've ever used!Previous to switching to Dr. Bronner's, I was using some run of the mill Sam's Club body wash. I had problems with back acnie, oil buildup (especially around the nose) and fungus (itching).
I remember washing with it for the first time, not knowing what to expect (if anything). After rising off, I actually felt clean! Those oily areas were no longer oily. Drying off, my skin felt tighter and smoother. As time went on, I noticed that a certain area was a lot less itchy and irritated. My backnie problem went from multiple large sores to one small one at the moment. Same with the face zits are a lot less common and generally smaller. I also had a problem with facial hair becoming partially ingrown, resulting in either zits or inflammation. It was so bad that they would catch my electric razor and start bleeding every time I shaved. Today, I can usually shave without bleeding! I used to have bad chlorine itch after swimming. After washing off with this, I had no problems with chlorine itch.
There are things it's not good for, though. First, it'll strip every bit of oil and crud right out of your hair. Mine becomes a straw-textured, fluffy mess if I just use Bronner's. About once a week, I'll wash my hair with it, then use my normal shampoo/conditioner this prevents product buildup. My hair feels softer and more manageable after doing this.
I would also advise against using it as a hand soap. After multiple uses per day, my hands started peeling because they got so dried out. Oh... and keep it away from the eyes. It really stings.
I ran out of this stuff over Christmas break and couldn't find it locally, so I switched back to the body wash. Sure enough, the backnie returned, along with the fungus and everything else.
What makes it so special anyway?
First, the formulation used is simply effective no filler, no scents, just good soap. Second and most important is the Tea Tree Oil, which is a really good natural antiseptic. This explains its effectiveness with acne, fungus and the like. Secondly, it's very anti-inflammatory, hence the "skin tightening" effect.

I've been buying this soap for years, but I'm afraid this vendor's stock is so old that it completely lost any trace of it's scent. I called the manufacturer (Dr. Bronner's) and they told me it must have been at least 2-3 years old to have no scent remaining. Rather than hassle with the vendor, Dr. Bronner's was nice enough to send me a replacement.I've discovered that these are stocked at Whole Foods perhaps it is better to buy them where you can see if they are fresh.

The peppermint scented soap has real peppermint oil in it, and that is the secret to the tingle! The ingredients are all natural, no man-made chemicals, no animal testing, and organic too! I love the way my skin feels after washing with this soap, squeaky-clean, and tingly. This soap it great for waking up your senses! I also love that it will not leave a nasty soap scum on my shower, bathtub or sink. I am usually VERY particular about the shampoo I use, but I tried this soap out on my hair too, just for the heck of it. My naturally curly hair needs some form of conditioner or it gets frizzy so I follwed up with my usual leave-in anti-friz product and my hair looked great. It didn't leave my hair feeling dry, or heavy, but instead it felt light and bouncy, and my curls seemed to have a better definition. So, now I soap up from head to toe with Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap, and I feel good about my choice.
Mistral Lychee Rose French Soap
Let me tell you a little about Mistral's Rose and Lychee Soap.I bought once on a whim and I've never been able to look back. My family got so hooked on it, that I can't go back to Mexico without bringing some bars.
They fight over it like dogs drawn to a meaty bone.

This is the best soap I have ever used. I used to have outbreaks of acne and I thought it was adult acne, not knowing the generic deodorant was what was causing my skin woes. I first bought the soap because it smelled so good. I never thought about how good it might be. When I started using it, my acne went away, along with all the other bumps on my skin. I use it on my face and body. My skin has never looked so radiant. Not only that, but it does not leave any residue on my skin. The soap is worth the price because a bar of the soap lasts me at least two months! Compared to the price of Proactiv that I was using, it is a much cheaper and better alternative!
I have mulled through the Whole Foods soap section on many occasions, and I finally found
a bar of soap that I would rather keep using forever than try other kinds.
I am convinced using this before I sleep has benefited my quality of sleep
because the smell is out of this world! Aubrey's rosa mosquita soap is also very
good but this one is great, and it still has the rose oil that helps with scars, acne,

This soap is okay. After using it now for a couple of weeks, I don't really smell much of a scent anymore. It does seem to last pretty long thus far, but next time I order a soap, I would like to have a scent that will last a while because I'm a fan of good-smelling soaps It doesn't seem to dry out my skin or anything, and I haven't had any allergic reactions at all. Four stars because I love this soap. It gives you wonderful, thick lather and the natural scents will take you to nirvana. I look forward to bathing/washing my hands constantly just to smell the soap. I take off one star because I don't really like the squares; the sharp edges hurt my arthritic hands. Also, some of the formulas are more drying than you would expect (citrus for one). You just can't go wrong with patchouli or eucalyptus; wish they had peppermint instead of spearmint.

My skin is very sensitive...especially to most antibacterial soaps...for that matter just about any soap leaves my face red, burning and irritated. I can't use those cold cream based or so called hypoallergenic soaps either. I hate feeling like a greased pig. This soap is awesome and it seems to last longer than regular soap. It leaves my face feeling silky smooth but still gets the rest of me clean without leaving behind a coat of slippery stuff. If I need lotion somewhere, I can apply it after I've dried off. Putting lotion in the bar soap just makes the tub a slippery accident waiting to happen. I recommend this product without exception. However, it is sometimes hard to find in the stores.

I've tried the other glycerin soaps from dial and they just do not compare to the white tea. The other soaps do not feel they get me as clean either, I don't believe the formula is different but I know I can tell a difference especially when scrubbing the residual deodorant from under my arms, the other dial soaps would not cut through as good as the White tea!
Coal Tar Soap (Black) (110g) Brand: Soap Works
If you're looking for true coal tar, SoapWorks is a waste of money. True coal tar products contains PAH's (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons). None in this soap. Instead it contains plenty artificial black pigment like a carbon agent. Stains everything but it washes out. This soap is simply a small, artificially black, coconut oil based castille soap. It lathers well and works well in that regard but do not expect medicinal skin care like a true coal tar soap delivers. Try Polytar or a similar product instead.
On the good side the price was great and worthy of at least giving it a try!

Good product, helps relieve itchy skin. Prefer Grandpa's Pine tar soap as it lathers better, but this one is still good value for the money.
