I did not like this product, period. It was VERY hard to get the soap to lather. Once the soap did lather there were enough suds for 5 people to take a shower with. The lather that the soap makes, once it does, is extremely slick and hazardous, to the point where it could cause one to fall in the shower. One redeeming point, it does rinse well but, the bar melts and is used-up very quickly. I maybe got 5 6 showers out of one bar.

Black Therapy 9 Bamboo Charcoal Soap featuring Activated Bamboo Carbon - 3 Bar Pack

I have a really annoying skin type. Not only is it oily (and dehydrated at the same time) it's also sensitive and clog-prone. I have to choose wisely when selecting my skincare because if a product clogs up my skin.....it's breakout city and all hell breaks loose. The soap was smaller than I expected but that is seriously the only con about this product. Smells very fresh and reminds me a bamboo forest. The soap lathers up really well and after I use this, my face feels so soft, clean, and.....just perfect in general. Exactly what I wished my skin was like before I effed it up even more with hundreds of products in search of perfect skin. I was also starting to have some trouble with Seborrheic Dermatitis, but because bamboo charcoal soap is anti-fungal as well as anti-bacterial, it prevents the SD from flaring up. LOVELOVELOVE THIS SOAP! I will continue to buy this forever.

This soap lathers very well, but does not last long. It cleans the skin well without drying. It is double packaged nicely. For about an hour after you use it, you will smell of the cypress needle oil, but it is not a bad or loud smell. If you have the money go for it, otherwise, you can try cheaper soaps like Dr. Bronners peppermint, Earthceuticals charcoal or just plain Ivory that seem to work just as well.

I recently purchased this soap after reading about the many benefits of activated charcoal. I've only been using it for a few days, but, so far, I love this soap! I have always had extremely dry skin. After washing my face, especially in winter, I would have to immediately use oil or a heavy moisturizer, which helped some, but still never seemed to soak in. Using this soap, it feels like I'm washing with creme, and leaves my skin feeling very soft and not dry! And I am able to notice a significant difference in the appearance of my skin also only after a few days.

Within 5 days my little eczema patches went away. The bar melts fast, but it is worth it. They come in a 3 pack and I plan to get more. Overall my skin is softer and my my atopic skin is better.

Seems being a black soap, as it has charcoal in it, it clogs my pores making blackheads. It may help some in fighting bacteria but it fills pores, so not worth it for me (the acne prone white faced woman). I really wish this wasn't the case, since it does seems to leave skin feeling great and the other ingredients have wonderful anti aging effects, so I am bummed. It's even pretty to look at with it's gold flecks looking very cool in a very black bar.

The Roger and Gallet soaps are my favorite. They retain their scent, last a long time, don't irritate sensitive skin and I use this size for travel with a sturdy plastic presentation box you can sometimes buy them with. For years it was hard to find these soaps in the US, but I am so thrilled Amazon carries this excellent brand. They are a little pricey, but such a fine luxury. I know Diptyque soaps and scents are the hot newer item from Paris, and I do like their fragrances, but I still prefer these soaps over anything else.

BTW the picture on this product page does not do the soaps justice. They come in a very pretty box wrapped in cellophane. These were shipped well. I did buy them from another seller previously and had to return them because they were shipped poorly and arrived damaged.

The only issue is that it really has a Pine-Sol smell to it, so if you are looking for a sweet-smelling soap, this isn't for you. The scent is strong...but I like it. And the lingering scent on my hands is actually very pleasant...not per-fumy, which is a plus for me. Whether it is efficacious in dealing with my minor issues, time will tell, but the smell is certainly of tea tree oil and so I am hopeful for positive results.

The dispenser requires more attention when using than some soft soap dispensers...the nozzle can revolve if you don't make an effort to press directly down resulting is some liquid going inadvertently not in your hand. However once learning this I manage to take more care and so that is not really too much of an issue.

The 4 unit quantity that I purchased came in a plastic bag in which two of the units leaked since their screw on caps had loosened and cleaning it up was a pain.

I used this soap from a Nutrition S'mart in my town. They stopped carrying it after that. This is the only soap that kept my breakouts under control, so you better believe I went hunting this down. The smell is of course pretty strong, but it is a clean smell. It leaves your skin super cleansed and keeps your skin under control. I highly recommend this product.

Dermisa Soap Sulfur Facial 3 oz.

I decided to try two other brands and compare them with the two brands that I have been using for a long time. Ouch, did I make a mistake to give them a try!

This is an imported South American brand and is real cheap quality like those little itty bitty Motel 6 type that is junk.

I will forever now stick with the two best brands that my dermatologist recommends Stieffel and also SulfurSoap found on the web.

It is a world of difference.

One day my mom bought this soap from Walgreens, but i was skeptical about this product as i am allergic to Sulfa based antibiotics. I looked up online to see if people who are allergic to Sulfa are allergic to its pure compound of it, studies showed that its most likely not. So, i gave it a try, and it truly does work! Now i didn't know that this product is from South America, but i don't think that should make the quality inferior? Sulfur is a drying agent, to dry the skin and bacteria on your face that causes acne. Sulfur is also the oldest know remedy to treat acne. I am not into the whole, lets put chemically lab created stuff on my face, so learning about this really boosted me into trying this!

Now i know that the drying part of it sounds bad, but like all new products your face will get adjusted. It took about a week to week and half for my face to adjust and moisture to retain. Within that week i notice my zits diminishing rapidly, i also noticed my scars fading. So i don't know the true experience of the other person review, but for its price, why not give it a try?

Another thing to add! If you wear silver jewerly while showering take it off. Sulfur reacts with the silver and tarnishes it. I have a tiffany's silver heart necklace that my BF gave to me. Now i have had it for some time and did gain some wear to it, but never looked tarnished. After a while using this product i notice it turned a bit to another color. I did clean it with Hydrogen Peroxide and toothpaste, (that seem to do the trick to rid of it). But if you wear precious metals. Be wary.

This is the best Goat Milk Soap on the market. The suds, smell and the way it makes your skin feel afterwords. Received my soap very within a few days, very happy.

Was given this as a gift. The scent is wonderful and does not leave an overly strong odor. One could almost leave this out and use it as an air freshner, it's that nice. After using this several times, I liked it so much that I ordered the body wash in the same scent.

Aubrey's Organics Baby Bath Soap is our favorite soap to put in our daughter's bath. It has that powdery fresh baby smell without chemicals and fragrances to make it smell that way. It contains soy protein, aloe vera, herbal extracts, and oils. Our daughter had been having issues with dry skin (probably from using the non-natural bath soap given to us as a gift), but I haven't noticed any dryness since we began using this soap a few weeks ago. It really does make her skin feel soft and smell so clean and yummy!!

I really like this soap, but I find I have to use a lot of the product to cover my adult body (granted, it's marketed as a kid's soap). The product is gently and doesn't dry my sensitive skin if used every other day (daily use did dry my skin). Too bad the product is a bit pricey and I need to use quite a handful of pumps to cover myself in the shower. The fragrance was gentle and not overpowering, although I can see someone who is sensitive to fragrances thinking the added scent a bit much.

Radiance Exfoliating Body Bar 4 oz.

Burt's Bees Exfoliating Body Bar is amazing as far as I'm concerned! Like a lot of people, I suffer from keratosis pilaris (red bumps on my upper arms, cheeks, and other various places) and have found few products that do anything about it. I just started using this body bar, however, and my arms are SO soft and smooth! My arms haven't been this soft since I was a baby. My skin feels great, the bar doesn't dry my skin out (I have grotesquely dry skin, barely ever had a zit) and it smells so fresh and wonderful. It was soothing and refreshing on my sensitive skin.

I think I'm a Burt's Bees Body Bar user for life.

Before using this soap I tried:

African Black Soap-Was great for a week, then burned my face, left me with dry patches :(

Nubian Raw shea butter soap -sort of moisturizing but left a film and I made the mistake of trying to wash my eye makeup with this. don't do it, it burns your eyes! Still left me with dry skin.

The price is a bit rich for my blood for an everyday soap, but I bought this as a treat for myself. I love the aftershave I have in this scent so I thought why not?

As a soap this is great! As shampoo, I found it a bit lacking. I have never used a shampoo bar before but in a pinch have used bar soap as a shampoo, and found that this shampoo bar did not do quite as well as Ivory or Dove does.

I loved the scent it is a great way to wake up in the morning. My wife loved to come in while I was using it just to smell the bathroom.

I will save the other bar to use when I travel this summer for mission trips just to feel a little fresher and cleaner when I get my 5 minute shower, and to save room not having to pack both shampoo and soap.
