It smells like vanilla and tobacco. But not with a cigarette smell. I don't wash with it but the Primal Elements soaps will not disappoint you. I put this in the closet with my sheets and towels. I also have a bar on my night stand so I can breath the aroma to help me sleep. (aromatherapy? lol). Its worth the money!!
