My baby was breaking out from regular baby soaps, so our pediatrician recommended goat milk soap. I purchased this and some pure unrefined shea butter, and her skin has been golden ever since. Works great and lasts FOREVER!!

This soap is excellent and an incredible deal. One bar of similar soap would cost $5 $7 in a store. The lavender scent is pretty mild, definitely not over powering. My boyfriend uses it too so it is a universal product. I have sensitive skin and this product is calm and soothing. It is also very moisturizing and never causes itching like the big name brand soaps do. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a moisturizing body soap.

I love this soap! The effect it has on my skin and my elderly mother's skin is fantastic. It keeps the skin soft and supple and it doesn't irritate either. That's very important for my mom who has very senstivie skin. The lavendar smell also helps to soothe my sense of tranquilty for me and my mom.

I've only been using this soap a few days and it's really a great product. My face is no longer red when I come out of the shower. Even my feet seem to like this soap. They don't seem to be as rough and chapped but this is a "wait and see" area I think.

This soap has a very "clean" smell. It's hard to explain but if you've ever walked past someone in the store and they have that noticeably clean smell, well this is that smell. Not perfumery or heavy, just nice and...........well clean is the only word that comes to mind. It's a shame this product has to be labeled as a soap. I don't think it's as harsh as a soap. It's more of a cleansing cream wash. Very creamy without the oil.

Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap 3.5 oz

We've been using this soap for 6 years or so. It has been especially beneficial to my 95 yr old Dad who has very sensitive skin. It does leave your skin soft, supple and not dry at all. It's a shame that the company has gone out of business as I found out last week when I tried to order from them. I hightailed it up to CVS last night and they had 5 bars left in stock at $4.99 per bar, which is the normal price. I'll be darned if I'll pay $14.95 for a bar as posted in this listing no matter how long a bar lasts though!

I love this stuff! It's the most moisturizing soap I know. My face doesn't feel super tight after I use it. It's not perfect -I still need to use moisturizer after washing with it, but if I don't, it's just a little bit dry...much better than any other soap I've used. Doesn't leave a greasy residue like some cleansers. I won't wash with anything else anymore!

Not the worst soap ever, but I don't share the enthusiasm others have expressed. Compared to Mrs. Meyers Clean Day for example -which costs half the price -this soap had weaker fragrance (maybe some would say subtle?? to me, weak) and much thinner consistency -more watery, less luxurious. Once I hit the ripe 'ole age of 25, my skin started freaking out for some still unknown reason. I grew up with this soap in Germany. Had a few acne pimples here and there but nothing dramatic. Moved to the US for college, started using American skin care products and my skin kept getting worse. Five years later I finally remembered Seba Med and my skin is slowly clearing up again.

I only gave 4 stars because I absolutely hate its scent. Too artificial, too strong, doesn't rinse off completely. It also seems to leave my skin rather dry. (My skin is getting flaky, which has previously only happened with products containing Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide.)

I got this on a whim because I saw it at Costco and thought I"d give it a try. I was interested in the pH balanced formula. I was not disappointed. My skin feels softer and I haven't had a problem w/ acne. I've been trying to ween myself off of my acne cream for years (almost 30 and was still breaking out like I was 15) but nothing ever worked. Benzyl Peroxide was too harsh for my skin and I would have a really bad allergic reaction. Sulfer or salicylic acid based products didn't work. I kept breaking out and my skin looked shiny and greasy. I use to have a problem w/ combination skin: oily and dry in patches. Now my skin looks and feels great. I don't even feel like I need makeup/foundation. IMO this is worth it.

Dr. Woods Tea Tree Castile Soap

My gf bought this for me from a Conway store in NYC just a few weeks ago and I've used it every day for the past two weeks and it's just great!! I use in my hair and body and it does indeed leave the hair and skin noticeably soft all day long.

Normally Tea Tree doesn't have the greatest scent, but this stuff smells nice with just a hint of the tea tree and other ingredients make for a pleasant natural scent without being overpowering.

I love it and can't wait to get some more and plan on making it my number one soap. GF said that this stuff flies off the shelves whenever they get it in...I can see why.

I have a 16 oz bottle which I have happily used for body and face soap for 2-3 months. I just pulled it out from under the sink to refill my shower bottle and it's badThought this stuff lasted forever? It smells rancid and has a thick cloudy streak running through the middle.

I purchase this because I love the smell of tea tree oil and I liked the large size for refilling my under-the-counter soap dispensers. This product smells like soap (not tea tree) and is highly watered down so you need to use a lot more soap. I will not buy this product again.

I bought this because it was all natural. I don't care if it lathers (it doesn't btw); I just want something healthy on my skin that cleans my hair.

YUCK! I wear my hair short and it is not oily nor dry. After my first and only use my hair looked dirty, once it dried. It felt gross (greasy) and my scalp felt dirty. Later that day, I ended up washing my hair again with a different shampoo.

I use tea tree oil for all sorts of things I am an oiler and it is a great multi-purpose product.

I have read the other reviews and I don't know if I got a bad batch? I bought this 2/13. Anybody find a similar experience?

I am returning this soap for a refund. I had tried Mill Creek Botanicals which also left my hair feeling less than clean but nothing as bad as this. I'll try Kirk's next.

Dr. Woods - Castile Soap Pure Peppermint - 32 oz. ( Multi-Pack)

I've been using Dr. Woods castile for a year or more. Before that I always purchased Dr. Bronner's but the ever increasing price tag had me looking for other options. Dr. Woods is almost identical to Bronner's, just more concentrated and less costly. I do wish the plain castile came in a larger variety of scents (I miss Bronner's citrus).

I have not purchased it through Amazon as I can find it cheaper elsewhere, but the soap itself is fully five stars. I use it for washing dishes, in the shower, hand washing delicate laundry, and a number of other uses. I don't use it in the machine laundry loads as it would take far too much soap to be effective.

One thing I've found in particular with castile soaps is that sometimes (such as hand washing delicates) it is beneficial to toss in some baking soda with the soap as it gives the cleaning power more oomph with less soap.

Good stuff, try it if you are looking for a castile soap without a lot of harsh chemicals and especially if you've been a Bronner fan.

Lovely and refreshing peppermint scent. The package arrived in really good condition. All 12 bottles were full. This soap is not at all drying or harsh. Instead, it is pleasant and may be used for a variety of cleaning purposes. I gave some of the bottles away to family members. Their feedback has been quite positive. I will certainly order this product again.

Instead of receiving twelve full bottles, I received eleven full bottles and one bottle that had only an inch or so of soap in it.

There was no leakage apparent in the box, so I'm assuming it was packed that way. Additionally, the cap on the mostly empty bottle was lifted up and was discolored. It should have been obvious to whoever packed the box that something was wrong.

I enjoy the smell of lavender, my husband accepts foaming hand soap products for our guest bathroom, and had even set up for subscribe and save deliveries. The pump on one bottle did not provide the soap product, and I didn't feel my hands were getting clean. Smelled fine, and appreciate "natural organic" products, but this one is expensive and fell short, I will not re-order.

EO Products Everyone Soap For Men Cucumber and Lemon

This is a good body wash. The scent isn't particularly 'manly' to my nose, and seems to be the same formula as the other Everyone "soaps". I was afraid these might actually be *soap*, but they are a detergent based formula, safe for hard water, do not leave rings in the tub or soap scum everywhere, do not make your skin feel tight or coated. I feel this is important to point out, given the name of the product.

This does not foam up as much as higher-sulfate, more drying body washes, but does seem to clean well and leave the skin feeling good. We batted 3/3 on the scents, this one, the coconut/lemon, and citrus/mint are all very pleasant smelling, unisex, not overwhelming but scented enough to be refreshing in the shower.

These EO body washes work fine for washing and body shaving; have not tried them as shampoo. The male of the family has used it for shaving his face with no issues.

I like this soap because it's a no-nonsense all over body (and hair) soap. Keeps your products to a minimum. And it's biodegradable.

I will say the Cucumber Lemon is not as nice as some of the scents offered for women. The cucumber gives it a distinctive earthy smell which I guess is supposed to be more manly. Next time I'm buying the women's version that smells like grapefruit.

I have found that most soaps and shampoos tend to dry my hair out. Generally after a shower my hair would be extremely dry then by the end of the day it would be super oily. Coastal Scents African Black Soap Set

Used for the first time today in the shower...very pleased so far...I will update if needed for bragging or nagging :)

I have used normal US chemical soaps my entire life; harsh soaps created with NaOH and some of them containing Triclosan. I was quite understood why my skin hurt all the time.

I've since changed to a local, organic diet and along with that I've stated using more natural products. Unfortunately there are not a lot of banana trees or palm kernels available in Milwaukee (because I like to buy local). But this is simply the best soap there is. I can't say I remember a time in my life where my skin was as healthy as it is now.

This a great starter kit. It's been a great introduction a few types of African Black Soap. I've had the bars for a month, and have just started the second bar. They really do go a long way; that is to say, you get your money's worth out of these soaps.

Organix South Tamanu Cleansing Bar Soap Fragrance Free

I AM a soap maker by trade. I try all kinds of soap for the fun of it and to learn all that I can. I never re-buy soap since I make it. This could be my exception! I have gained a real respect for Tamanu oil and all that it can do. Yes what kind of soap you use DOES make a difference. What's in YOUR soap? The oils listen in this soap are and in this order: Olive Oil (extremely moisturizing, can't beat it), Coconut oil (used in this case for foaming instead of using a chemical but very good for skin! ) Palm Oil, (moisturizing), Tamanu Oil (high on the list so there is a fair amount in there), Shea butter (to die for), jojoba oil (amazing stuff again for skin) Rosemary seed Extract (usually used to keep the bar fresh but also brings nice qualities to the skin). This list rocks!! These are all VERY expensive oils and top shelf. When you look at the price and want to walk away may I just say that I dare bet there isn't a lot of profit in that bar. Yeah those oils are that expensive, BUT worth it!!

I am very critical with soap. Nothing but nothing can beat my bar of soap. That is why I try everyones to make sure....well here it is. A great bar of soap. I base my stars on the following:

It foams really well.

It lasts a long time.

It rinses off clean, you ARE clean. You will feel the difference

If you have skin issues this bar is the real deal for you.

All the oils picked will moisture is the skin really well but will also help to heal.

The soap is visible good, cleans well, face fells smooth, I use it after I used scrubs and want a final clean.I like the natural products, but I did not use it long enough to tell a difference. I use argan oil for may face anyway and i noticed a diminishing in acne in about 6 months of use. The hydration is superior to everything I tried before. I would recommend.

My facial skin tends to be combination oily and dry, but my body skin tends toward the dry side. This soap is definitely not for me! Leaves my skin slick but not moisturized, and instead with new dry spots forming. I compared it to Yardley Oat Moisturizing soap ($0.98 at Walmart) and Yardley leaves my skin clean, moisturized, and supple, while Olivella leaves it parched, irritated and chalky. Also, I had to exfoliate nearly everyday after using Olivella. Not fan, but glad I gave it a shot. Maybe it's better for someone else's skin?
