This hemp rose soap from Dr. Bronner's is amazing! It has none of the harmful ingredients found in many commercial soaps, like sodium laryl sulfate, etc. It's pure and smells absolutely fabulous--not overly rose-y, more like an earthy-type rose. The scent is very natural and authentic too, not perfume-like. One thing you should be aware of is that it doesn't foam up a lot because it has no chemical foaming agents; this, however, is fine by me. I just use a little bit more, or clean up without the foam.

I like that it has natural oils in it as well so that it's not drying. I use it solely as a bath soap, but apparently all of the Dr. Bronner's Soaps can be used for everything from body care to household cleaning. I love this soap and find it gentle enough to even use on my face, yet it does clean thoroughly. I love how it makes shaving my legs easy as well, because of the oils.

It leaves little to no residue. I have read that it can be used to brush your teeth, do the dishes, and bathe your pets!

I am hooked, and plan to use Dr. Bronner's exclusively from now on as a mainstay in my home. I've been looking for a natural and versatile product like this for years.

Ultra Glow Black Soap 99.2G

This soap is the best, it does it all. If you have acne, blemishes, dark spots, dry skin, you name it this soap cures it. I'm a woman who loves trying new face washes but by far this stuff is the best kept "secret" and is dirt cheap.I'm African American with combination skin, and my face doesn't feel tight after I wash it, or oily hours later. I had a couple of small pimples on my forehead and cheek. After 2 days, you can barely see them and my face looks much brighter! The scent is not overpowering or strong, it is very light. Actually, it smells similar to licorice.

I plan on getting another bar for my shower so this soap can clear up the dark spots on my back and shoulders left by acne scars. The only gripe, and this is incredibly minor, is that you may need to wipe off the counter if any of the lather gets on your sink or the walls of your shower. It is not staining or damaging though.

I highly recommend, and am surprised there aren't more reviews for this product.

This is the most fantastic soap on the market! i have used it for 2 years and no other black soap can compare to it. Definitely the one to try!

I have been using ultra glow product for awhile now, so I decided to try the black soap since the other soaps worked well for me. BIG MISTAKE! the black soap broke me out. I had small red bumps all over my face. It is too strong for me. The regular ultra glow and the shea butter soap is the best in my opinion.

Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap

I purchased the soap with little idea of how great this product would be. I can't begin to tell you what this little bar of soap did for my skin. It cleared my skin up and never dried it out. It is a little on the expensive side, but it goes a long way, thankfully.

I bought this soap for the purpose of shaving, based on claims I had read stating that this soap is well suited for the task, however I didn't feel that this soap produced a good lather for shaving compared to other soaps I've used. That said, I do like this soap for bathing, the scent is enjoyable and I'm left feeling clean and refreshed. I will probably purchase more because my girlfriend loves it and thinks it smells like heaven.

I have senitive skin and I love clean smelling soaps. I am a bit of a soap, lotion potion junky this is not a one hit tried it once product... this soap is now on the must have and use all the time list. I love the smell it reminds me of my youth when I bascially swam in the ocean all day. It leaves your skin without a trace of film and very clean. The salt gives you a tint bit of a scrub.

This soap will totally moisturize your skin, and as it stands is a good body and face bar. But using this for shaving is excellent as well. Gets a good lather quickly, smells outstanding and does not dry you out. The bar is fairly big but fits in most shave soap cups nicely.

It is pricey though, but it also comes in a cute package that looks good as a decoration in your bathroom.

Blue Q Bar Soap

It is hard to find ylang ylang, though its therapeutic uses are many. The soap is well made and lasts me 4 months in a shower used by a family of 5.

My husband really likes this soap. It's got a great citrus-y scent and is well milled, so it lasts a while. It has a whimsical box and makes a great gift or stocking stuffer. The only problem is that it's hard to find. When I see it back in stock on Amazon, I grab some because it sells out fast and I don't know if it will be available again. If you can get it, it's worth the price for a treat.

I initially bought this as a sorta Joke since My BFF and I use the term HOTT MESS under certain circumstances. When It arrived, The scent is SOOO Nice. Its light and a pleasant smell! You can smell the fragrance eminating from the box. Im glad I spotted HOTT MESS, I was only buying this for the name, and what a pleasant surprize. Definatly recommend. Worth the price, the box is durable if you wanted to use it as a Visual in the bathroom

Blue Q's Hot Mess Soap is a sweet little option for those of us that prefer simpler, less chemical cleanliness. The primary ingredients in the bar are palm and coconut oils, which might frighten off some potential buyers. Let me reassure you this is not a greasy bar. On the contrary, it will leave you feeling exceptionally clean, and lightly scented. Speaking of the scent, the orchid fragrance is sweet on the skin. Very delicate and unequivocally feminine, though I was actually hoping for a bit more fragrance. I deducted one star because when I think of a hot mess living on the edge, orchid scented and all, I think of something a bit stronger. I read the rave reviews on the "12-pack" of Dudu Osun soap, and figured these may not be genuine ratings. Ratings for smaller (single or double packs) were not as high. While it is a decent black soap, after using it, it makes my skin produce more oil than normal after a few minutes. It did not dry out my skin possibly because I'd been using a stronger store-bought black soap before. This was mild in comparison. The lather is magnificent though. Of the three black soaps I have tried (Dudu Osun, a store-bought brand, and a genuine "chunk" of black soap from Ghana), this comes in 3rd. For $6, it lathers easily and may last a very long time.

This product irritated my skin like carzy definitely not what I was expecting I dont know if its cause my skin is not use to the product or if Im getting an allegic reaction it dries out my face and makes under my eye kind wrinkly and makes my face really hard I think it darkened my skin

Crabtree & Evelyn Nantucket Briar - Triple-Milled Soap

Rarely use bar soap so I can't speak to the soap qualities of this--but it's wonderful to tuck into a drawer and use as a sachet! Got one in the Nantucket Briar hatbox set a while ago and didn't want to let it go to waste, so I threw it, soap's box and all, into my underwear drawer. Now that smells incredibly fresh all the time--a whiff of pure joy whenever it's opened. (The scent lasts and lasts; I bet it would if you actually washed with it, too.)

It's strong and lavender-y enough that I bet moths wouldn't be pleased, either.

My mom loves Crabtree and Evelyn Nantucket Briar. She can't seem to get enough, the only trouble is: it is very expensive and she won't buy it herself. Which means her children and grandkids get to buy it for her, and it is hard if you are on a fixed budget like I am.

I Wish that It would show the correct bar of soap that I received. I will explain: I received this 4oz bar of soap which I did not order, I ordered the 8oz as you can read it. I chose this ratting because because it was not the size I received. I had a problem with Americarx.com, called them twice, the first time I called they were suppose to get back to me 3 days later on may 20th, concerning sending back the wrong size soap. I got no response. I called them back today and now they said that I could keep the soap and They are going to keep the shipping and handling of $2.47 and refund me the $1.98. Why I am upset about it is that I could have bought the 8oz bar at Whole Foods Grocery. I thought I would be saving myself a trip but I guess I am not. From the stress that I went through I feel that they should send me the whole price of it. They claim it was a tech. error on their part.

I guess I will be using the soap as I did not have to send it back. But I still want to get the 8oz bar because it lasts longer. I believe this kind of soap is healthier to use than any other brand.
