This soap is fantastic! If you wash your hands with it, the whole bathroom will pick up the scent. The design on the soap is also excellent and unusual. Yes,it may cost a little more than what you buy locally, but it is worth it.

Brought some of this soap back from Maui and have since bought more online. Love to have it in our guest bathroom since it has a unique look and smells so good. People are always asking where they can buy it. Another thing I love about it is even when it gets down to the end of a bar it holds up great and doesn't break like most soaps.

I was looking for something like this for hubby because he has allergies with shower gel and can only use soap and only a few at that. It arrived quicker than I expected and as soon as I smelled it, I loved it and knew that hubby would too. As soon as he was given this he told me that he liked the smell. Ultra Glow Black Soap 99.2G

This soap is the best, it does it all. If you have acne, blemishes, dark spots, dry skin, you name it this soap cures it. I'm a woman who loves trying new face washes but by far this stuff is the best kept "secret" and is dirt cheap.I'm African American with combination skin, and my face doesn't feel tight after I wash it, or oily hours later. I had a couple of small pimples on my forehead and cheek. After 2 days, you can barely see them and my face looks much brighter! The scent is not overpowering or strong, it is very light. Actually, it smells similar to licorice.

I plan on getting another bar for my shower so this soap can clear up the dark spots on my back and shoulders left by acne scars. The only gripe, and this is incredibly minor, is that you may need to wipe off the counter if any of the lather gets on your sink or the walls of your shower. It is not staining or damaging though.

I highly recommend, and am surprised there aren't more reviews for this product.

This is the most fantastic soap on the market! i have used it for 2 years and no other black soap can compare to it. Definitely the one to try!

I have been using ultra glow product for awhile now, so I decided to try the black soap since the other soaps worked well for me. BIG MISTAKE! the black soap broke me out. I had small red bumps all over my face. It is too strong for me. The regular ultra glow and the shea butter soap is the best in my opinion.

This used to have a very natural pear smell and now it smells like pear + vinyl or something. It's still good, gentle soap and I still use it, but I'm looking for new.

Trader Joe's carried this hand soap for years and I loved it, so when it disappeared from their shelves, I searched for it online, and was happy to see it was still available. What a total disappointment when it arrived. The formula is completely different. It doesn't have the nice pear fragrance that made it so appealing, and the soap now feels slimy rather than cleansing. The packaging changed too the nozzle clogs easily so that it either doesn't feed, or else squirts haphazardly across the sink. All that plus a smaller package (9 ounces instead of 12) and at a higher price. No wonder TJ's stopped carrying it.

I have been a loyal customer of the Kiss My Face brand and have been buying this pear scented hand soap for over 15 years. I have always loved the very subtle scent and rich creamy soap. But this is the last time I will ever buy it. My most recent purchase arrived and I am deeply disappointed to find out that the soap is now watery and not nearly as lovely to use as it once was. I guess new customers will not recognize the difference, as it now feels like any ordinary hand soap. I decuded to try ABS based on the reviews i'd read. i can honestly say that i agree; ABS is awesome! i bought it to use on my face. My facial skin is dry and sensitive it gives me the blues especially in the winter. In the winter its gotten so dry that it literally stings and it would breakout. It also became very irritated with any moisturizer I tried. I've been using ABS every day for a month now. My skin has cleared up and most of the dark spots caused by pimples are disappearing. My pores have gotten visibly smaller. i've even made a liquid soap to use in the shower. It makes your skin so soft and supple. This is the real deal, i recommend it to my friends. I'm going to try it as a shampoo as well. You may feel a light burning sensation when you first try it but after a couple of days it'll go away. if using it 2x a day feels drrying to your face, use it 1x a day. IMO, Natural Cosmetics has the best price, the largest selection, and excellent customer service.

The product is exactly as advertised. I've used this 'raw' soap for years and obviously am completely happy.

It is not smooth and creamy in texture like Dove, but it cleans wonderfully leaving no sticky feeling after drying off. I recomend using awashcloth or work up a lather in your hands.

DO NOT LEAVE THIS SOAP IN STANDING WATER. You have been warned.

I had no idea that African black soap existed, I must have missed the Dr Oz episode where he mentioned it, LOL! Anyway I've been using it for a few weeks now and I could not be more pleased. It is what I would define as an extreme exfoliator, but I have definitely noticed improvements in my skin already: my pores are smaller, sun spots on my face are not so dark, and believe it or not, the skin above my eyelids is tighter! I'm a 54 year old WF if that means anything, and do take excellent care of my skin, and eat healthy. Moisturizing afterwards is a must; something I've done all my adult life (it's quick in the mornings as you're getting ready for work) is apply baby oil right after I get out of the shower from the neck down, brush my teeth, and then dry off. This is much less time consuming than moisturizing with creams, which I reserve for the weekends. I actually use a variety of oils now (lemon oil, almond oil, shea oil, etc). My only concern at this point is if the black soap strips the skin too much, and does it upset the PH balance of our skin. If I find out, I'll come back & post any new info!

Nag Champa 150gms soap (RSNAGB) -

I absolutely love Nag Champa, but I'm not crazy about the soap. It smells nothing like the incense, and it dries my skin out. I'm still recovering from all the dry skin bumps.

If anything, it could be used as a handsoap. It works up a great lather, and the smell will certainly stick with you.

the only issue i had with this soap is that it is too expensive, i wish i would have looked for it at a shop in town so as not to have to pay the expensive shipping that this cost. i do love this soap tho, it smells amazing.

I love this soap it smells so good leaves a fresh, crisp cranberry scent behind after each shower. It doesn't seem to dry my skin out with daily use either and that is a plus as well.
