Reviva - Seaweed Soap, 4.5 oz bars (Multi-Pack)

I had been buying handmade seaweed/kelp soap for about a year (your skin feels very soft after this type of soap; you really do feel 'refreshed'-they're not making it up), but the lady I was buying it from stopped making it, too busy. So I ordered a different kelp soap here at Amazon (can't remember brand, but I dont like to leave bad reviews unless something is downright useless-it had too much perfume in it, my fault for not reading the ingredients list carefully enough).

Found a bar of THIS stuff in a health food store and tried it and EUREKA! -this is it. I was able to find the same thing here on Amazon and I just love it, it's perfect! (I rarely shop at that local store). I get the 6-bar pack and use about a bar a month(just for showers). Very pleased! Will buy again!

I once heard of this being oil defat soap. It's not, but if you're not used to roughness, be careful with this soap. I love it, but the little microbs really scrub your dead skin cells and it can hurt if you really push down hard. It smells so good and you feel so refreshed afterwards.

Garden of Ireland Heather & Moss Soap 125 g bar

I first discovered this soap in Ireland, in a town called Kinsale on the southern coast. I have a tendency to dry skin, and this soap does not leave my skin dry, nor does it leave a feeling of heaviness or lotion residue on your skin. It somehow seems to exfoliate without being harsh, and it has a clean, fresh light fragrance. You smell clean, not perfumey. I have tried many, many soaps, and body washes, and this is the only thing I use now. It is better than Philosophy (yes!!) I wish it were more widely available in this country, but I'm happy that Amazon sells it. Try it with Inis perfume (also made in Ireland) if you like fresh, clean scents. I have no affiliation with the company, just a tourist who found a wonderful soap in a country that produces a lot of wonderful things...I wish Kerry Gold Butter were more widely available here in the USA...it is heads above any butter in our markets here...but back to the soap..I don't know about ALL skin types or preferences, but I love this soap!!

I discovered this while traveling in Ireland and it is my favorite soap. It has a wonderful aroma that is fresh and clean but not "perfumey". It makes me feel relaxed. The soap is very smooth and silky too. Love it.

Burt's Bees Honey & Shea Conditioning Body Bar is a lovely, honey-and-shea butter-filled natural bath soap. It lathers most luxuriously and cleanses well without stripping my skin of moisture or leaving behind a soapy film.

Michel Design Works Au Bath Soap, Chocolate

This is one of the most beautiful bath soaps I've ever used in my life. Keep in mind that I have sensitive skin, and this did not irritate me one bit while most soaps normally leave me with an itch and a few bump after usage.

Pros:

Excessive foaming. (I slightly rubbed the bar over my shower loofah and man did it produce a ton of foam)

Gentle rich foam. (There's an absolutely rich texture to the foam produced from this soap, it's not your average type)

Real chocolate smell. (It smells like a delicious sweet bar of chocolate, and the smell doesn't disappear two minutes after you're out the bath! I used this an hour and a half ago and I still smell delicious!)

Beautiful packaging. (had to throw that in there, because packaging does count to me!)

Fast delivery from the seller. (Arrived in Canada, where I'm at, really quick)

Came with a free facial cream sample and a voucher for $25 off if you purchase $100 or more. (I thought it was a sweet gesture from the seller because I've never gotten anything more than I ordered off of amazon, so even though the facial cream sample is tiny and the voucher can only be used by those living in the USA, I still thought it was sweet of them)

Cons:

None

Some may say the price is a con, and I thought so too before I tried the product. Well to tell you the truth, after actually trying the soap I think it's rather under priced. You get a huge bar of high quality soap for this price? That's a deal!

First found this when visiting my daughter in Seattle...the fragrance is exactly like a chocolate bar...mmmm good. Package is beautiful and this soap lasts forever.

The smell makes my eyes burn long after I've left the shower. My skin condition was not improved by it at all. This is a good, clean-scented, everyday soap. My family loves it. I myself am not a soap user because I have very dry skin; however, I have used it in the past. This is the best soap I have ever used and I have tried plenty of expensive, luxury soaps. The size of the bar is incredibly large so much so that after unwrapping it and letting it sit for a week, I was able to cut it into 3 pieces. Caswell-Massey - Domestic Bliss Liquid Soap

Scrumptious...I know that's a silly word for soap. But this liquid soap does smell scrumptious! And even tho it is pricey compared to what you can buy in a drugstore, it's worth it to me. And besides that....my husband likes it, too. (Is that why they named it Domestic Bliss?) I have it on my kitchen sink in the basket with the lotion. I don't use it every time I wash my hands, but when I have been cooking a lot or cleaning, it is used thankfully. SMELLS DIVINE!!!!
