To be honest, I bought this soap with no expectations. I did hope perhaps it would be easy on my skin for the winter. I went by what the one customer review state but I do not agree. This soap feels like nothing more than a cheap soap mold. It is extremely drying and I completely wasted 5 dollars on it. I honestly think the problem with the product is the company used a very cheap soap mold to make it. Had they used a better quality soap mold it might be a good product. There really is no moisturizing properties to it, even though it states shea butter. Complete waste
While its a little pricey for a bar of soap it does what it claims to do and I really like the minty smell.

Yardley English Lavender French milled soap has a true lavender fragrance and makes a very nice lather. The bar lasts quite some time and it will last even longer if it is aged for a few months prior to use (although it will lose some of the smell) so I usually unwrap it and place it in my dresser drawers and linen closet where it gives a clean, delicate scent to the items stored there.

These soaps work really hard, but they don't strip your hands dry like other soaps can. To illustrate: my husband's a doctor, so we're really conscientious about washing our hands after every little thing; some soaps can take a toll on your skin pretty quickly with frequent use. Add to that the fact that I wasn't prepared for how dry the winters get around here (having just moved from Memphis), so my hands got painfully chapped and cracked until I switched to Method soaps. They didn't strip my hands, but they also weren't impossible to rinse off like some "moisturizing" soaps. They leave the natural oils in my skin, so my hands actually have a fighting chance!

Method products and ad campaigns are usually very attractive. It's difficult to find the range of products and scents available. Even at Target it's hard to find Sweet Water. Because it's clear, it fits any decor and the smell is quite wonderful. Also, I much prefer this version to the same thing in foaming hand wash. I got hooked on to Method Hand Wash a long time ago, when Costco sold multi-packs. The bottle looks good in our guest bathrooms, and the soap smells nice. Costco long ago stopped carrying it, and local stores sometimes do, sometimes don't. When they do, it is expensive. Ordering on Amazon is convenient, and amongst the lowest priced options for this hand soap.
While this fantastic soap feels very soft in the water, it smooths and softens very noticably. It has a very faint pinapple scent. I was extremely impressed the first time I used it with how much it softened my skin and silkened it on contact. When this soap is wet it feels soft on the surface. I am willing to pay a premium to use this exquisite soap from Fiji. The nut oils from the south Pacific are the best thing I've ever used on my skin. This is the only soap I want to use. I think it replenishes the essential fatty acids of the skin with it's nut oils and coconut oil. Simply the best there is, and I am a fancy soap fanatic.
I was looking for a simple wood soap dish that wouldn't break the bank and I ordered these because the price for the 3-pack was about equal that of one of other similar products. I wasn't expecting much, but was actually pleasantly surprised when I received the soap dishes. They are very simple just a few wooden slats glued to one another but the minimalistic look is pretty nice. The wood has a light lacquer of some sort on it, which is perfect as I keep my soap in the shower. I even held it under water just to test the efficacy of the lacquer: the wood still looks perfect and the glue is holding just fine.

If you use shampoo bars this is a must! I've always had dandruff and no matter what I'd try it never went away. Dandruff shampoos only made it worse and I didn't know what to do. I happened upon some natural, organic shampoo bars on amazon and discovered that my scalp was just chemical sensitive. However, like soap bars, shampoo bars will dissolve and not last very long if they set in water after you use them.
This soap smell light,,,,and soft lather,,,,the scent stays with you all night. If you have the lotion,, great,,,complete. All who like a good soap,,,,try this one.
Love the quality of this castile soap, especially with the shea butter in it. It makes for a better foaming and moisturizing soap. I use this for everything from doing house cleaning to using in the shower. Definitely will buy this product again as it has been the best product I've found for my eczema too.

I liked the product at first, but after not seeing any real true benefits, I could see spending so much money on a product that seemed to dissolve away faster than most any other soaps. If you have the money to spend on this, then ok, but I think there's better products that will cost you far less.
The Green Tea and Cucumber odor of all of Dove's soaps and body mists with this odor is amazing. It is subtle, but pleasant and not overpowering, whereas about 75% of the fragrances on the market truly stink and make me wince. The fresh odor and cool feeling of applying the deodorant, the body soap (in liquid or bar form) and the body spray makes me feel and smell great.
This is my FAVORITE brand of foaming soap! It's all natural, smells awesome and FEELS GREAT to use! Gentle on my SUPER sensitive hands! A little goes a long ways so it lasts WAY longer than the same amount of other foam soaps! LOVE it and HIGHLY recommend it!

I have purchased Dove products in the past, but never had a problem with sensitivity to a strong scent, but we do with this product. In fact, my eyes began to water as I opened the package, before even attempting to use it. I'm sure this product works for many who don't experience such sensitivity. In comparison to many products offered by Dove, this is the first time, we experienced this sensitivity. Not recommended for people who suffer differ allergies, or are sensitive to a strong fragrance.

The soap is always Dove bar soap, the old fashioned pink bar with the lovely fragrance is what is there most often. The fragrance is light and pleasant, and it does help to keep my dry skin soft. I had a full house over this last weekend. All of my adult children were home for a visit. I was a bit skeptical at first about the quality of these soaps; I think they're popular in Malaysia and in other countries within that region of the world. I figured they can't be any better than the Palmolive bar soaps at the local Pathmark or ShopRite. I was proven wrong and was very pleased with my purchase. When I made the lather, the bar felt really smooth and it has this wonderful baby powder-like scent--the combination of milk and pearl powder really works well together. I think it makes my skin a little bit smoother. I've just finished my first bar, and I have to say, the quality of the soap was very consistent all the way to the end. The only con is that the bars are a little smaller than I expected them to be. Overall a good purchase, definitely worth trying if you've never used it before.
