If you are having skin problem, either itching or pimples, lather on this soap, wait 3 minutes or until the soap start drying on your body, then just rinse off, and apply a generous amount of your favorite lotion.

This soap does a lot as a pore tightener and helps to even tone. Very pleasant smell and consistency. However, I've found it's very drying to the skin.

I am AA and I bought this to even out my skin tone a little. I did use 2 of the three bars and did not see any results. The soap is very drying so it would make me 'ashy' until I moisterized. I can't say that I saw any results during the time I used it. I did only use once a day when showering or bathing in the morning so perhaps I didn't use it long enough or frequently enough? It did have a pleasant smell.

DON'T TOUCH THAT DIAL! (unless you like slipping in the shower!)

Dial (owned by Henkel, Germany) recently added a new scooped out bottom shape to their bath size bars, which reduces the ounces of the bar, so it doesn't last as long. It was formerly nearly flat on bottom. There is no reason for this scoop except to reduce longevity of the bar while appearing to be the same size as before. Problem is the scoop causes a HAZARD. The bars now WILL NOT STAY IN THE SOAP DISH. The bars continually fall under foot. I picked up the bar 2 or 3 times every shower. It gets under my feet. I am seriously worried about a SLIP AND FALL!

Deciding to cheat us by cutting a large chunk out of the bar is one thing, but to create also create safety hazard that could really hurt someone is beyond stupid. I am waiting for someone to really get hurt and SUE THEM. The bar is out of balance on soap dishes. If you have that smaller piece left over from before, you'll never get the bar to stay put. It is under foot every time.

DIAL'S GREED MODIFICATIONS ARE GOING TO HURT SOMEONE!!!!!! I have about slipped several times.

I am so amazed that the current keepers of a formerly great brand could be so recklesss in their quest to cheat us that have tainted a 30 year great brand. The Dial brand managers have redesigned all products to not last, and no longer be good value. You added DANGEROUS to their list of product enhancements. Good job Dial Brand management!

Swastik Shikakai Natural Hair Soap 81g bar

My parents recommended this for me as they had used it in the past. I have now used it for about a month, every other day or so and my hair feels firmer and is easier to style as well.

This is the procedure recommended that I follow:

1. Overnight, put oil on my hair. Coconut or any other that you wish.

2. Wash it off in the morning with this soap and use any conditioner of choice.

3. Enjoy nice hair.

This is the first time that I've tried Shikakai and I'm very pleased with the outcome. I've been using this bar without the pre-oiling or the use of conditioner as I wanted to set my new color (the last time I used coconut oil in the first week it stripped some of the color from my herbal henna color). This Shikakai bar washes my hair squeaky clean, yet leaves it feeling soft and looking healthy and shiny! I would have given it 5 stars, but I have odor sensitivities and it's just a bit perfumey smelling to me although it doesn't make me feel weak from the smell like so many traditional shampoos do.

This product felt really harsh on my hair. It isn't possible to use this soap without using a conditioner at the same time. The soap is mild and smells good, but not for hair. I bought two and used only half of one. I just couldn't deal with the dryness it caused.

was trying to find a shampoo bar to replace basin shampoo bars which are small and expensive. this is ok as soap but it leaves your hair feeling gummy, much like a common bar of ivory which is much less expensive for the same effect

My thirty-something asian supermodel gorgeous dermatologist looked me over, stepped back, and said "Yup. Eczema. Old Irish guys get it all the time." After I put my clothes back on, and picked up my deflated ego (huh, old Irish guy indeed), I tried all her recommendations with limited success, and so I kept shopping.

Aveeno Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream and this soap have made the problem more or less go away. Once or twice a year I get a localized flare-up that I hit with prescription stuff.

I've tried every other soap imaginable. Aveeno bar soap feels like sandpaper and actually hurts. Yardley Oatmeal and Almond is the best by far. As always, your mileage may vary, but I'd highly recommend you give this a try if dealing with eczema.

I received a sample of this bar soap and was hooked.

Olive oil is the key ingredient that makes this soap so gentle and non irritating. I love the soft scent. It lasts just as long as other well known bar soaps. Highly recommended. It's a bit expensive but I really believe it is worth the price.

I have become very sensitive to the alcohol in foaming soaps. I received a small bar of TOM's Soap as a sample in one of my amazon orders. I started using it and the difference was remarkable! My hands went from dry red and cracked to silky smooth. The scent is very light and natural. Unfortunately, I ran out of the sample and went back to a foaming handsoap... Hello again! dry red and cracked skin! I'm sticking with Tom's soap-this stuff is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking for a soap for my dry skin. I don't use a liquid soap when I take a shower but almost all soaps make my body

dry and itchy, especially during the winter season. I'm happy now to find this soap. It's perfect for me, not too much moisuture but completely not too dry. The soap has a nice scent and seems gentle. I won't buy them again, though, because the bars don't last very long. Originally I purchased Olay Bath Bar Luscious Embrace because I had a coupon AND more important the bar had these cool looking "massaging bumps" on it, those pretty little chips of lavender and it simply smelled great. In fact, I made it part of a gift package that I was putting together for a friend at Christmas last year, along with a bottle of hand lotion and a super soft pair of fuzzy socks. So it's official, I consider Olay Luscious Embrace a cozy MUST HAVE right up there with big fluffy slippers and eating frozen yogurt in front of the fire (place) while in your pajamas..., it's that wonderful ! The reason I didn't give Olay Luscious Embrace a full five stars is because the bar melts away pretty quickly (it's that creamy) and it's very difficult to find these days.

I love the soap, but was a bit costly. I thought I was getting a pack that incldued 4 count. I also, didn't like how the soap was shipped!
