Grandpa's Brands Company Patchouli
This item is a speciality soap, and worth $2.50 a bar. It has a creamy lather, and the soft scent of patchouli. My husband even likes it because he says it rinses clean, and that is important to him. Anyone that likes patchouli will love this soap, and anyone who is not sure should definitely try it!

Grandpa's knows what patchouli is supposed to smell like. This is a gift for someone so I have not used it, however the wonderful scent is obvious when you open the delivery box. Absolutely fabulous!

I haven't received my soap yet, because I just ordered it. But I have actually used these soaps for years and it's difficult to express just how good these soaps are. They clean and .."polish" your skin. Sounds nuts, I know, but after a couple of days, you definitely start to see a "glow", of sorts. I have used Dove soap my whole life, and only tried this because a friend gave me a bar. And from that time on, I was hooked.I have only bought these at Whole Foods Market, and I can say that I was happy enough spending $5.99 per bar (the bars are HUGE blocks, so one block, equals two of regular soap.) But, at Amazon, they are substantially less. So, it's great soap for less money than you would pay in stores.
Another hit for Amazon.com I hardly shop anywhere else these days! :)

The product it self is great BUT I purchased bars of soap advertised as being 8.8 oz., in fact they were only 8.0 oz., that's almost 10% less !!! My previous order for the same "original product were as advertised (8.8 oz. each). What if you were shortened that amount when purchasing gas, grocery items, etc.. My wife bought the same product from a different source and it was as advertised. We got these to take to campgrounds to carry our soap to the shower. The bright colors are nice. The cases easily hold full-sized soap bars. The latching system keeps them from popping open in luggage (no rubberbands needed to hold these closed). They seem to be water-tight; we had no soap residue leaking out into other luggage. Because they are water-tight, there are no drain holes. We would bring them back to camp, open them up and drain off the water, then leave them open for a bit to air out before putting them away. Very pleased.

These were way better than I thought they would be. I like using a soap bar when i travel because it travels better. I have been through a lot of soap holders and these are by far the best I have ever used. They do everything a soap container should do. The have plenty of space to fit a bar a soap. They snap closed and stay closed. So far mine hasn't cracked, snapped at the hinge, or fallen apart!

Coastal Scents Nuna Black Soap, Shea Butter, 5.29 Ounce
I really like the smell of the soap. This soap is not extremely hard like other soaps and to my surprise it is quite moisterising. Be careful not to leave it in water though, because it will melt away.

I noticed that my skin was smoother, softer, and my dry skin mostly subsided. Good lather, and faint scent which was just a clean soapy kind of scent to me. Ultimately a good, budget friendly product that I would repurchase. The only downside is that the product goes quick despite the fact that I cut chunks off the soap to try to increase longevity. EO Everyone Soap: Shower Gel, Bubble Bath, Shampoo (3 in 1)
I was looking for a non-toxic soap product. This soap is it. I've purchased several bottles at this point. I let my girls use it as bubble bath, body soap, and shampoo. The smell is light and clean. It doesn't have a huge amount of lather. However, it leaves you feeling clean. I was under the mistaken belief that lather was good and necessary. Not true, and this soap is evidence.

Having finished chemo and radiation treatments I have become quite a 'post cancer hippie' with regards to all of my personal products. I don't want anything with a bunch of toxic ingredients. Once you really start looking at the ingredients list of products... well, it's more disturbing that I ever realized. I use the EWG skindeep database and try for only products that score a 2 or below, but have a few that are 3 or 4. (www.ewg.org/skindeep)I was introduced to EO products during a trip to Esalen and I just love this body wash, I'm glad I was able to track it down. My boyfriend even enjoys using it and he thought he hated lavender! (Guess he just hated synthetic lavender scented products) It's also a great shampoo when we run out of our usual.

I'm allergic to EVERYTHING so I can't sing the praises of this product enough! It smells great, I have no reaction to it, and it's nice and hydrating. It has a great lather and I use it as a body wash, so glad I was introduced to this product!

Dr.Woods Products Tea Tree Soap
Up until now I have only used Dr. Bronners peppermint castile soap which is nice, but the mint oil leaves me feeling cold, great for summer, not so much for winter. Woods soap is as good as Bronners if not better being that it is much more affordable. You don't need alot to work into a nice lather and it leaves you squeaky clean. I recommend caution around the eyes and mouth areas because of the tea tree oil, extra rinsing is advised to avoid very mild and short lived discomfort. Being a fan of tea tree oil I expected as much, and often being in a hurry liquid soap cuts shower time which also saves on water bills. The last thing I like about these more natural products is the lack of a five mile long ingredient list with unpronouncable chemical additives. I like this soap and will probably switch to using it as most body washes on the market today are overpriced, overpackaged, overscented and leave me feeling greasy. I think it is interesting that you can also use this soap for laundry, but I have not tried that yet.
Olivella 100% Virgin Olive Oil Face and Body Soap Fragrance Free - 1 Bar
My facial skin tends to be combination oily and dry, but my body skin tends toward the dry side. This soap is definitely not for me! Leaves my skin slick but not moisturized, and instead with new dry spots forming. I compared it to Yardley Oat Moisturizing soap ($0.98 at Walmart) and Yardley leaves my skin clean, moisturized, and supple, while Olivella leaves it parched, irritated and chalky. Also, I had to exfoliate nearly everyday after using Olivella. Not fan, but glad I gave it a shot. Maybe it's better for someone else's skin?
