I really have tried almost everything (short of taking Accutane) to clear up my acne-prone and sensitive skin. This is the *best* product I've found in 20+ years. I only wish I would've stumbled on it sooner.

There are so many expensive products out there loaded with harmful chemicals. But, I found this Cuticura soap listed on The Cosmetics Safety Database () as one of the safest. Plus, it's cheap.

I use it on both my face and body, and it works like a charm. Controls breakouts; moisturizes nicely; feels soothing; doesn't have a fragrance; and 1 bar lasts a long time.

I've never written a product review before, but I just had to endorse this great soap! Highly recommended.

I have cystic acne, which is usually caused by bacteria and I thought that this would help clear it since it is a bacteria fighting cleansing soap. My face still looks exactly the same. It has no affect and I have been using it for over a month. I am glad I didn't spend much money on it.

Alpen Secrets Exfoliating Goat Milk Soap with Oatmeal, 5-Ounce (Pack of 4)

The soap gives a good lather and does not irritate sensitive skin. However, it does not seem to clean that well because deodorant residue is usually left behind on my underarms after showering. I'll just stick with Canus Goat Milk Soap that lathers and cleanses thoroughly. Nice smelling soap though.

I love the little soapstone jar -it looks really nice on my desk at work. The perfume is okay -I don't hate it, and I find myself putting it on a few times per day. The scent doesn't last very long. It actually sort of smells like a cheap scented candle, but something about it reminds me of childhood. You know how scents can take you back to a previous time in your life? I purchased this soap along with the other skin care such as the fading gel and complex serum in order to fade my acne marks and i love it so far, i can see a difference and i only been using it for about a week in a half can't wait to see after a month or so. We got these to take to campgrounds to carry our soap to the shower. The bright colors are nice. The cases easily hold full-sized soap bars. The latching system keeps them from popping open in luggage (no rubberbands needed to hold these closed). They seem to be water-tight; we had no soap residue leaking out into other luggage. Because they are water-tight, there are no drain holes. We would bring them back to camp, open them up and drain off the water, then leave them open for a bit to air out before putting them away. Very pleased.

This is now a hard to find object. I love it, and the price is right. If you use regular soap, and travel with your own, a great thing to have.

These were way better than I thought they would be. I like using a soap bar when i travel because it travels better. I have been through a lot of soap holders and these are by far the best I have ever used. They do everything a soap container should do. The have plenty of space to fit a bar a soap. The soaps are not oval as shown in the picture. Rather there are 4 rectangular bars which may not matter to you but the "mandarine" soaps are oval and in my opinion easier to wash with. The quality of the soap is excellent however.

I have just begun to get into the DIY (do it yourself)home projects to save money. One project being to create your own laundry soap. There are diffent ways to make laundry soap both dry and liquid. I found one easy recipe that called for Zote laundry soap. I live on the east coast up north so trying to find this bar soap locally is pretty much impossible. We only seem to have Fels-Naptha. When I found it here on Amazon I was so excited. I must say that this has been great. I purchased the soap and it arrived very quickly. I have already made my fisrt batch of dry laundry soap and love it. It has a light citrus scent and I haven't had any problems using it. I'll be keeping my eye out for more bargins on this laundry bar soap. If your looking to make your own laundry soap this is a good one to try.

I just purchased zote and gave it a test run in homemade powdered laundry soap. It works best when items are soaked in zote water overnight, And I love how it cleans towels. I wouldn't use for dark clothing, have noticed some colorfast. I had some fresh stains that came right out with zote but the old stains did not. It is worth the money based on performance vs high end brand stain removers. Works great to remove grease on jeans.

Dr. Bronner's Magic Soaps Pure-Castile Soap, All-One Hemp Rose, 5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 6)

This soap is everything I have come to expect from Dr. Bronner's. The quality of the soap itself is high, it smells wonderful, and it is gentle to my hands. Not only that, but the bar of soap sitting in the bathroom soap dish makes the room smell like roses.

Since I ordered the pack of 6, I decided to find a use for the other 5 bars. The still-packaged bars went in some of my clothing drawers for storage. Sure enough, they made my clothes smell like roses too.

You won't regret buying this soap go for it!

Just picked up a bar of the rose scent today and find that I LOVE this scent! I wish this was available in liquid form so I could use it on my hair, too. I've had to use peppermint which is better than some the other scents but the potency can be a bit overwhelming at times. Almond smells nice, but since I have so many allergies, I wasn't sure if I'd be allergic to it. It washes extremely well so Dr. Bronner's soaps can be drying...I just make sure I use an organic body cream immediately afterwards.

I bought this soap back in November of 2008, and I've still got a couple of bars left. I opened my pantry yesterday and it smells so good in there from the soap, LOL. And it reminded me that I need to review this item, as well as a couple of other things I've neglected to review yet.

This was my first purchase of Dr Bronner's anything. This soap doesn't dry your skin out. But it still gets a body clean. My skin did seem somewhat softer after using the soap for a couple of weeks. Maybe not quite as dry as it was. Not any dramatic improvement, just an improvement.

I have no complaints to make.

The soap smells really good, and it lathers well. My daughter likes the rose scent, that's why I got it.

I'd like to try out the tea tree oil soap next.

Don't leave it sitting in water though, it dissolves fast if you do that. Put it in a dry soap dish after use.

Oh. and my grand daughter can use it with no problems. She has very sensitive skin, and prior to this we were using Ivory. So It's seems to be good for folks who have allergies and sensitive skin.

It's hard to find anything else to say about soap. Heh.

But I do like this soap better than the stuff I buy off the shelf at the grocery store. It's doesn't seem to be as harsh.

Kappus Soap, Sandalwood (4.2 oz)

Kappus Sandalwood soap is one of my all-time favorites. I've used it for years, particularly in the summer, when the fragrance and "clean" feeling I get is perfect! The scent is just right: not too heavy, not too light, and a little "exotic." I grew alarmed when the Kappus line seemed to be disappearing from local shops. I asked in one shop specializing in soap, where the clerk was willing to special-order for me. She also explained that yes, there WAS a distribution problem in the USA with the Kappus soaps. Although I accepted the clerk's offer and did place an order with her, when it was time to buy more bars of soap, I went on line and was happy with the service I found through Amazon. I sometimes wonder if I could survive summer without my Kappus Sandalwood soap! In cooler weather, I tend to use other more ordinary soaps. But I've tried many of the Kappus soaps -particularly the glycerine bars. I like them all and would use them more often if they were more readily available as they once were. The peach, apricot, and green apple are especially good. The non-glycerine Lavendar, Rose, and Lily-of-the-Valley are OK. All are quality products that have a good feel and that hold up well with use. Suggestion: Keep spare bars of the Sandalwood soap with clean towels or underwear and make the whole drawer or cabinet smell good!

I used to be able to buy this soap at my grocery store but it has disappeared there. I was so happy to find it on Amazon! Kappus really knows what they are doing. Their soaps are creamy and long-lasting, and beautifully scented, and this one is no exception. It has a light, spicy, natural sandalwood scent that's Oriental and exotic, and not cloying. The bars are also a nice size and shape, so that they're a pleasure even to hold. Kappus uses the highest-quality ingredients in their soaps. Please never stop making this soap, Kappus! I love it.
