Neutrogena Facial Bar Fragrance Free, 3.5 oz (Pack of 3)
I've used Neutrogena soap for decades. If you have oily skin, this soap really cleans. It is a bit more expensive, but in the long run, it works better than any other soap I've used.
Monoi Tiare Soap Bar Gardenia (Tiare)
This is a tropical Polynesian scented soap. The Gardenia is not overpowering, but subtle and refreshing. It's a good value because of the hard-milling of the soap which makes it last a really long time.

It smells lovely! Sniffing the bar directly makes me sneeze, but on my skin the scent is light & stays the whole day. Unfortunately, it's drying, even on my oily skin. Not sure if I will purchase again, I may just stick to the oil itself.Just an FYI, Tiaré is a type of gardenia, but does not have the same scent as the Common/White Gardenia, which is used to fragrance most 'Gardenia' bath & beauty products. IMO, Tiare is very sweet, almost fruity-smelling, in the same way Frangipani (Plumeria) or Honeysuckle can be. If you want tropical, Tiaré or "Tahitian Gardenia" is this one. If you are looking for the typical, White Gardenia scent, try Body Shop or Caswell-Massy.

If you have been to French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora, Raiatea, Moorea…), this is the exact soap they use there. It has a fantastic tropical floral scent that is pleasant in the bath and not very apparent on your skin afterwards. The coconut oil makes your skin soft; my husband and I find we do not need to use lotion when we use this soap. Rosa Mosqueta Body Soap - 8 oz - Liquid
This body wash is awesome! I ordered the 8oz rosa mosqueta bottle a while back and I can honestly say that it is the best body wash I have ever used. It has none of the nasty stuff that messes with your health and energy, so I feel great now that I use this. It lasts a very long time despite the bottle size(although I do wish I could get it in a 16oz at least). It cleans the skin thoroughly, leaving you squeaky clean yet not dried out. I don't need any lotion or moisturizer at all, and I've had very dry and sensitive skin for years. It works best for me when applied with bare hands as opposed to washrag or loofa. I guess buying organic body and hair care products is still the same as buying the regular, chemical-laden stuff off the grocery store shelves...some you like, some you don't, even among the different products of the same brand. I really dislike Aubrey's super hold Pssst Hairspray. It's not that it didn't do the job, the smell was awful.This stuff smells good, moisturizes well and produces some bubbles to boot. Some of the other organic bodywashes I've tried didn't even make a lather. Sometimes I mix it with Burt's Bees Citrus & Ginger Root Body Wash, which I also like a lot. If you dislike soaps that don't bubble, this is for you.
Dudu Osun Soap
I have used this soap for a week and I LOVE it! It has left my skin soft, smooth, and oil free even in 100 degree humid heat. But, what most people need to understand is HOW to use this soap. DO NOT use a wash rag, poof, sponge, or any other device. Use ONLY your hands! Wet your hands, lather the soap up in your hands, then wash your body from head to toe with ONLY YOUR HANDS. You do not need to scrub! Of course you will get too dry & itchy if you are scrubbing too hard with this soap. This soap cleanses so well you only need your HANDS. If you do break out after a couple of days of using this soap, don't give up. I too got a few bumps after a few uses, but they are now clearing up and going away. I think this maybe due to the soap getting the impurities out of my pores. I LOVE THIS SOAP! I only wish I had found it years ago! My freckles seem to be fading, old pimple scars are fading, my pores are shrinking, and my over all skin tone is evening out! Just remember DO NOT SCRUB! Be gentle & the soap will be gentle to you!
Face feels incredibly clean after use, removes all dirt and oil. Great combo is this soap with jojoba oil to moisten the skin. I'm not metro-sexual, nor do I care that much about how I look (sorry wife) but all in all I'm really pleased with the product.I've been using this soap every night for a month straight and I haven't noticed any positive or negative changes in my face. Essentially it works just like any bar of regular soap (at least for me). The one thing I don't like about it is that it's very drying. If you use this soap make sure you have your favorite moisturizer at hand.

When I used this soap on my face, my skin felt squeaky clean and tight. On my body, it cleared some of my skin, but not all. When I got a rash from an allergic reaction to my new cat, this soap cleared it up in a few days. I would definitely recommend this soap to someone else. It has a mild, soapy scent. It does leave brown residue where ever you leave it in the shower. It also lathers up a little brown at first. I wouldn't recommend you use it on a white sponge or a washcloth.This product did what every single Macy's, Online & infomercial line of products has not been able to do. It completely cleared up my skin, evened my skin tone and unclogged & shrunk the appearance of my pores. It also did the same for my 60 year old mother and my 82 year old grandmother (I am 28 with sensitive, combo skin). When you wash your face/body with this product, right after your top layer (dead skin cells) will crumble right off with some help (exfoliant/washcloth). Your skin will feel dry after using it so put on some moisturizer and you'll be set. Your skin will be unbelievable smooth. The only thing that I did not like was that the expiration date was not visible on this pack but I just purchased a 3 pack and all the dates were visible. I love it and tell everyone about it.

Lever 2000 Bar Soap, Citrus Bars, 4-Ounce, 8-Count
Apparently, this line of Lever 2000 soaps didn't catch on, because I can no longer find it in the major grocery chains in DC. Thankfully, it's being sold on Amazon! I love this fragrance because I don't have to wear perfume with--and yet people think I am. I've actually receive compliments on the fragrance!

This soap really does work it makes your skin super soft and fades away blemishes, but if you have stuburn scaring and want to see fast results use palmer fade lotion along with the soap You'll get amazing results quick, oh f.y.I the soap is messy.

When the item arrived in a package, the smell of the soap was sooooo goood!. It's not over-powering unless you are sensitive this could smell pretty awful to you, but this smelled like the rain and I love it!. When I first used this, I was taken back by the color it left on my soap holder...of course I knew it was going to be black but I didn't know it was gonna leave black residue on it. It's easily washable, luckily I found my portable soap holder and I just leave the cover on it so it doesn't dry out and makes it last longer when moisture tries to get to it. Overall, this product made my skin feel very soft and it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry at all. Best soap I have ever used. The one thing I wish they made, was a liquid form. I have other people in the household who also love using this soap, so having a liquid body soap would work wonders!. I received the soap quicker than it even said it was expected! I've been using it for about 4 days now. It does make your skin very smooth after you use it, but the actually purpose actually hasn't shown yet.

I purchased this soap in Ohio over the summer. When I used it up I had to find more & came across it on Amazon. It has a clean fresh scent. My skin normally gets very dry & flaky during winter but not with this soap; it leaves my skin moisturized. I can even use it on my face. I may even try other fragrances.

Pre de Provence Soap, with Hand Cream, Lavender, 6.6 ounces Bag
Since the description isn't very descriptive... the soap is 5.6 oz, and the hand lotion is 1 oz. Both are moisturizing, and the lavender scent is soothing and aromatic, but not overpowering. In general I have found that pre de provence soaps are comparable to the artisan, handmade craft soaps (found at trade shows, on etsy, etc.)but you get more soap for the price, especially with the 8 oz bars.Save 27% Off
Dermalogica Clean Bar (select option/size)
Very rarely do I write reviews, but I felt that after using this product for almost three months, I had to pass along how much I love this product.I have struggled with hormonal/cystic for many years, going through short phases of having 'mostly' clear skin and then phases of the deep/cystic acne and hormonal acne along my jaw line/chin. This has literally cleared it all up. I haven't had ONE of those horrible, deep painful zits in three months. I do get the occasional whitehead, but that's usually from a new makeup product I haven't tested before. But my skin looks better overall, I go out without makeup WAY more often and my skin just feels better.
Now for the bar itself: solid white bar, slight herbal/medicinal smell, lathers very well, bar will last at least six months (note: I usually only wash my face once a day, at night, after I've removed any makeup). Very rarely do I follow this with a toner, as it does leave my skin feeling a bit tight (I also live in a VERY dry climate), but when I do, I just use witch hazel. My moisturizer is a mostly an even mixture of Embryolisse Creme Concentre and Neutrogena's Deep Wrinkle Repair Night (with retinol). I use more or less of either of those depending on how my skin is feeling (dry vs. any problem areas).
I will continue to by this bar for the rest of my life (or hoard it if they ever stop making it) or unless I wake up one day and it suddenly stops working. If you have issues with acne, breakouts, etc, please give this stuff a try. It's a lot cheaper than most of the acne "treatments" you can buy.

I found this bar looking for an alternative to men's shaving soaps that are scented. As the clerk at the store told me it's not really "soap" because it doesn't dry the skin. I was skeptical of it but she assured me this product produced significant lather. I don't like traditional shaving creams that seeminly "coat" the skin and I tend to get a lot of ingrown hairs, irritation and zits and I am in my mid 40's. I keep the bar in the travel case and use a badger hair brush to apply the Clean Bar lather to my face and shave as normal. I get a close shave without the irritation and other issues that were associated with modern shaving creams. The greatest advantage is how long it lasts. I still have the bar I bought nearly two years ago. I tried this soap on a fluke. I decided to try it because I like to wash my face with something that gets foamy. At first, I thought it dried my skin. But after a few days, that dry feeling went away and I found that my moisturizer actually absorbed more thoroughly after washing with this. However, the most amazing thing about this product was how it eliminated pores on my face. It really was quite amazing. My skin looked so smooth. I have reasonably good skin anyway, but this product really took it to another level. I have used their Special Cleansing Gel for years, but I like this better. Smoother skin, and the soap rinses off very easily, unlike my experience with the Special Cleansing Gel which takes a lot of rinsing and leaves some residue. Dr. Woods - Castile Soap Pure Peppermint - 32 oz. ( Multi-Pack)
I've been using Dr. Woods castile for a year or more. Before that I always purchased Dr. Bronner's but the ever increasing price tag had me looking for other options. Dr. Woods is almost identical to Bronner's, just more concentrated and less costly. I do wish the plain castile came in a larger variety of scents (I miss Bronner's citrus).I have not purchased it through Amazon as I can find it cheaper elsewhere, but the soap itself is fully five stars. I use it for washing dishes, in the shower, hand washing delicate laundry, and a number of other uses. I don't use it in the machine laundry loads as it would take far too much soap to be effective.
One thing I've found in particular with castile soaps is that sometimes (such as hand washing delicates) it is beneficial to toss in some baking soda with the soap as it gives the cleaning power more oomph with less soap.
Good stuff, try it if you are looking for a castile soap without a lot of harsh chemicals and especially if you've been a Bronner fan.

Instead of receiving twelve full bottles, I received eleven full bottles and one bottle that had only an inch or so of soap in it.There was no leakage apparent in the box, so I'm assuming it was packed that way. Additionally, the cap on the mostly empty bottle was lifted up and was discolored. It should have been obvious to whoever packed the box that something was wrong.

It's good soap. But not worth over $20 for one bar. I had signed up for the monthly subscription, and was getting the pack of 12 for months. Last month, however, they just sent me one bar, but sent a receipt for the full 12 pack.I called and Amazon customer service apologized, and said they would send a new pack. No biggie. I understand that things like this happen in shipping.
I few days later I received one more bar.

I have to start off by saying that my husband hates the smell of this soap on his body when he uses it, but it has an entirely different scent on my body. The soap I received was not the one pictured. I have received the ones with a different color rope. Not as nice as the old red rope. What happened to that model?
